Tried this adorable place for breakfast today and can't say enough about the great food and service! It's small but has a large outdoor seating area which is perfect. Absolute must try if you haven't been yet!

Got the Lag's Burger with fries and it was very good. Fiancée got the Bologna Sandwhich with tots and enjoyed it as well. Atmosphere inside is small and tight with 1 booth option and window/bar seating lining the space. Service was fast and polite and I will definitely be coming back

Deluxe burger with parmesean fries. Sooo good.

If you want personable service with great food this is the place. They have one booth and several stool and a nice outdoor seating. I initially went for breakfast. It was simple yet tasty. I really enjoyed the biscuit. I then went back the same day for a burger which did not disappoint. I wish I had two stomachs so I could've eaten another one. Another honorable mention were the delicious parmesean fries. I can't wait to go back.

My Reuben and fries

It was our first time trying Lag's. My husband had been driving past it on his way to work. The cook staff and cashier were very friendly. We sat on stools facing the window. My husband got the Gerard Attack and I got the Reuben. Oh man!!! We've been on a hunt for the best burger and I'm pretty sure we found it. And the Reuben was amazing!! The bread was moist, the sauce was fantastic, the pastrami was flavorful and so tasty, and the kraut was fresh. Everything tasted great! We will definitely be back!!

Biscuits and Gravy that will feed the soul!

Best pancakes in town, hands down, but as always the biscuits and gravy have stolen the show for me. I absolutely have never had better!

Good Burger! The staff is great! Easy parking and the service was very good. The three of us enjoyed our lunch and my son is a regular.

Never open during posted hours. Basic food for insane prices. You think they'd be affordable considering the quality

Best burger in town. Chicken sandwich is awesome. Homewood Lag's was great, Avondale Lag's is even better.

Soup changes daily and this day was chickpea and chorizo. Nothing life changing about it but it wasn't bad. We walked into a small, dark, crowded dive bar and ordered amongst several other people after waiting in line shoulder to shoulder with other customers. I say this not to complain (because with a crowd like this on a random weekday, they're obviously doing something right) but to take your kids in car seats (‍) with caution. Crowds in small spaces stress me out and it would have been even worse if we'd had the boys with us. I'd also highly suggest going on a day when you can sit outside. There's very minimal seating inside. They do have a lovely, spacious patio that also feels like a garden with plenty of trees for shade. However, they make it clear they don't want dogs there. Parking was horrific. A narrow street with cars on each side. We barely fit through it. If there wouldn't have been an open spot on it, I'm not sure what the next option is because I didn't see anywhere else and this street only held so many. I would dine here again because the sandwiches were fresh and delicious and they obviously know what they're doing! I was pleasantly surprised that they had prosecco as well. Just heed my few warnings and you'll enjoy as well!

Parking was a bit difficult on this day, but that's to be expected with the holiday shopping traffic. I love Brick & Tin. It's upscale Panera in the best way. Their brisket sandwich and soups are absolutely incredible. I always recommend this place if you're looking for a nice, fast-casual lunch. I got the farro half salad and added chicken. This was the perfect lunch. Great flavor, squash, some greens, farro to keep you full (I believe this is an ancient grain), I feel like I checked every box on being healthy for the day. The dressing is delicious and not overdone. They've got bar seating, two tables for larger groups, and then booth seating along the walls. It's a farm-to-table vibe in here, and the food certainly matches. I've never been disappointed by anything from here. I need to try out their downtown location next!

Ok so this place actually makes a great sandwich…read more I was scrolling Yelp and looking for something nearby and saw a pic from this place and decided to just shoot over to it and give it a try. Best sandwich related move I've made in a while. It's inside a brewery, but kind of it's own separate space on one end. Walk up and order at the counter, get a number and they'll bring it out to you when it's ready. There is tons of space indoors and out. Lots of tvs for watching all the games. A variety of seating from sofas to barstools to picnic tables etc. Just a really spacious place with a great layout. It's in a brewery, but I'm gonna say it's family friendly. I definitely saw families there with kids and everyone was having a good and responsible time. So as far as all that stuff goes...great. Now onto the sandwich. The menu was short and sweet and I was torn between a few of their options, and I settled on the Big Tony, which turned out to be a great decision. It was huge. 2 meals. Order one if you're hungry, or if you want to share with a friend. It was made to order, it could be had either hot or cold. It had a great balsamic on it. It was popping with flavor and on a nice hoagie roll that rounded it out nicely. Long story short, don't second guess it. This is a great, big, flavorful sandwich and it's being served up in a big, spacious, airy environment with all the things you'd expect in a nice brewery. Get down there and see for yourself.
