Pizza

Unfortunately had a bad experience here today. Have ordered from them in the past and the pizza was very good. That was not the case last time and today thought I'd give them one more shot. It was overcooked and I observed the staff being so slow and no sense of urgency during the lunch period. More importantly some customers came in not wearing masks and although there is a sign posted, they did not say anything. Called the owner to let her know about the pizza being overcooked and about the importance of masks, she replied. "We do our best"....... which obviously isn't good enough. AVOID!!

Instead, you'll be doing weekly fresh pasta nights. Do you like wine? Definitely don't go here, because there's a great assortment, BOOM, you'll buy a bottle with your fresh pasta. I haven't had the raviolis because I'm not full on masochist (everyone says they'll change your life even though the owner insists she is more proud of the spaghetti) Speaking of the owner, I've caught her doing the dishes herself, how many owners do that? How humble, very demure. Not to say the staff isn't helpful and friendly because Tyler will help you pick out a bottle that is tall and skinny so you don't have guilt about finishing it in one night. Like I said, don't go here because you won't leave empty handed. There's also an infamous rumor that Anna Delvey frequents here-- who's to say?

Best tasting pasta you can buy fresh from Susan Flynn and Eric Hours, the proprietors. I am a…read morefoodie and my friend who is a gourmet cook introduced me to Four Star Fresh. It should be called Ten Star Fresh! They are a small outfit that sells their pasta at their manufacturing location in Biddeford, Maine. Just email them if you are anywhere within 30 minutes of Biddeford and see what time you can buy their pastas or be at the Kennebunk Farmers Market first thing Saturday mornings before they sell out. Email ahead if you need gluten free which is made on the same equipment as regular pasta. However, people with celiac disease have eaten it with no side effects so it just depends on how sensitive you are to wheat. Amazing quality and taste. The best gluten free pasta anywhere and I have tried them all. I live in the greater Boston area (two hour drive) and will definitely be a repeat customer. Worth the time and trouble to find this pasta for family members that have celiac disease and are gluten intolerant. Eric and Susan are super customer friendly and this is the first time I added a business to Yelp just so I could post a great review. Eric said to email him anytime I wanted lasagna noodles, etc... It's so rare to find accommodating businesses these days. They have a cute motto too: "Too small to fail." I think what makes their pasta so wonderful is they do it all themselves and take the time to personally make the pasta, roll it, and cut it. Visit their Facebook page. They offer classes on how to make pasta, etc...
