Awesome PIZZA, great sauce, cheese not greasy and just the right amount, flavorful toppings. Worth the drive just north of town center. As a family we've been going to Ogunquit for decades and have family who summer there. We've tried almost every pizza in town, even have it delivered to the beach for dinner, and nothing ever has prompted me to review. Years ago we tried OGT House and it was nothing great. Ok, I was lazy. It is cold out and I don't feel like driving anywhere, so I look across the street and there is Ogunquit House of Pizza. After reviewing the menu, I decide to walk over and pick up a chicken cutlet parmigiana to take back to the room. This sandwich did not disappoint in the least! Wonderfully toasted soft bread, plenty of chicken and cheese with just the right amount of sauce to give it a kick but without making it messy (which is my biggest complaint for this type of sandwich). Love this place! Have for over 15 years. The owners are the nicest most committed people you could ever meet. Their food is consistent and delicious! Perfect sandwich stop before the beach or pizza on a lazy night in. The pizza is out of the world good! They are busy in the summer- for a reason! Unfortunately had a bad experience here today. Have ordered from them in the past and the pizza was very good. That was not the case last time and today thought I'd give them one more shot. It was overcooked and I observed the staff being so slow and no sense of urgency during the lunch period. More importantly some customers came in not wearing masks and although there is a sign posted, they did not say anything. Called the owner to let her know about the pizza being overcooked and about the importance of masks, she replied. "We do our best"....... which obviously isn't good enough. AVOID!! read more

Ordered a takeout pizza there yesterday. Ten inch with pepperoni black olives and mushrooms. Was charged over $16 for it which to me was way too expensive. When I got it home 20 minutes away it only had mushrooms and a couple of onions. Too far away to bring back I ate what was the worst pizza I've ever had. My husband is obsessed with this place! Every time we go through Ogunquit, he insists on getting two pizzas to take home. I do admit their pizzas are really good - not greasy, very flavorful and the owners are really nice. We have dined there a couple of times and the atmosphere is plain, but pleasant and very clean. The antipasto was very sparse, with only a few pieces of rolled up cold cuts and iceberg lettuce (no olives, cheese, or any other toppings an antipasto normally contains). I live in wells and the house of pizza closed a few years ago so I was happy to find anothe so close. I love this place! The cheeseburger plate is Super satisfying. I still thanked her with no response. then thought maybe shes having a bad day until another woman came in to pick up an order and she was friendly to her and laughing, talking etc.. . Order comes out I just asked if could have a plate and napkin..again no response head down.. throws them on top of the box and walks away.. so unprofessional..so rude.. we did nothing but be pleasant. so go somewhere else..I wish I did but 20 bucks..The food was ok not great..Ill take the loss..lessened learned.. stopped here on our vacation recently , just looking for some lunch , I had the chicken cutlet grinder made exactly how I wanted it and hubby got his grinder to order as well , I have read some of the other reviews referring to the lady /owner who took our order , I found her very sweet and she even brought our order to us at our table , so not sure what others issues were, she was nice and service and the food were excellent . We will continue to come here when we visit . I also have to say the pizza and food are far better than other establishments in the area and better priced. read more
