I cannot comment on anyone in the store, or service or anything. My other half was the one who went into the store and picked everything up. We are on our yearly trip to Maine, and we stopped to get pasta to take a break from all the amazing lobster we were eating. We got a bag of lobster ravioli and wild mushroom ravioli. First of all, both of these flavors were out of this world. We ate both with oil and maldon flakes and no sauce. The lobster ravioli were stuffed full of delicious filling with actual lobster meat. The wild mushroom was super herby and earthy mushroom flavors. The pasta... is perfect. The filling is perfect. Its the absolutely perfect ratio of filling and pasta thickness. none of them broke. They were the ultimate homemade pasta. If you're in Maine, and you need a break from nonstop lobster.... (Except stuffed lobster ravioli) , I cannot recommend this place enough. read more

My first time in here and I was super impressed! Fresh foods, homemade pasta, prepared meals, frozen meals and many Italian treats! I tried the mac and cheese, the chicken parmigiana and the spaghetti and meatballs. They were all so good! Can't wait to go back and try more dishes! read more

The food was amazing and being in a motel it was easy to take with us and heat it up. Fresh ingredients and my husband says the meatball sub is one of the best he had. Definitely recommend to try out. Will be back when in town again. read more

My husband and I are huge fans of Terra Cotta Pasta Co after getting it from different farmers markets but today we finally made it to one of the stores and it did not disappoint! From the variety of fresh pastas and sauces to the cafe options everything was amazing! The cherry on top was the outstanding service we received. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We live an hour away but that won't stop us from being regulars here! read more

We visit York every year and stay at a place with a kitchen. Our neighbor comment how much they like this place so we decided to give it a try. I got the lobster ravioli and the shrimp scampi ravioli and a container of lobster sauce. My only regret is we have never tried this place sooner! I heated the sauce up first and I couldn't stop tasting it. It was like pasta sauce and lobster chowder had a baby. I could literally eat it as a soup. The ravioli cooked up amazing! The pasta is nice and thick (in a good way!). We mix them together and poured the sauce over. Oh. My. Goodness. Seriously probably the best pasta I have ever had. The filling of both were amazing. The shrimp has a nice lemon flavor and the lobster was rich and savory. And the sauce was the perfect compliment. It even had chunks of lobster in it. I highly recommend this place of you have a stove and a pan. 10/10 will eat again! read more

Many choices for pasta and sauce. Very friendly help, abundance of choices! Look for the special they offer

I have come here two times before work. First time here, I ordered pretty much everything they had in their display case and everything I ate was great. I especially like the Cipollini onions, caprese salad, and the brussel sprouts. The guy working there also made me a chicken parmesan sandwich which was also good. The next time I came, I called ahead and asked for a couple of slices of lasagna to be heated up prior to me getting there. They did it for after a little confusion on the phone. The lasagna was not exactly what i was used to but it was tasty. Everything I have tried here has been really good and I hope to try other things they offer. read more

I'd never been there before tried the fresh fettuccine made a broccoli rabe & white cheese sauce with ricotta & cream Sensational pasta fresh & delicious will be returning soon! read more

This is as good as it gets for delicious and ready to eat Italian food in the Kittery area. This area doesn't have much selection for good food, but this is definitely the spot to go. I love the ready to bake pizzas, the chicken and the eggplant parmigiana are super good as well. Since I appreciate having ready to eat food to take to work, I will be returning again soon. read more

This is a place I'll be talking about to my friends, family and anyone visiting looking for a good place for fresh pasta and a grab and go lunch. My friend and I walked in and we were immediately greeted by Eric and he asked us if we've ever been here and etc. He told us a little about the store, and all his products. He was very knowledge and especially proud of his products. I am not sure if he is the owner, but he made it a place I would want to come back to time and again. He took the time to show us what kinds of pasta/ravioli they have, how it is made and with what ingredients. He also took the time to show us what just came out of the oven, and he encouraged us to sample the daily soups, and to taste the oil. This place will not be disappointed in the varieties of pasta or sauce choices. You will not be disappointed by the service. There are so many different kinds of ravioli, pasta and sauce! While we were about to pay for or pasta and ravioli, Eric was kind enough to give both my friend and me a complimentary bag of fresh pasta. We first said no, because we were not in it for free anything. We wanted to pay for our items, but he absolutely insisted and even helped us pick what kind of pasta would be suitable for our palette. The wild mushroom ravioli is AMAZING. No seriously, this is the best tasting ravioli I've ever had... and it was frozen! I still have the plum tomato and mozz to taste. read more

Quick stop for late lunch on our way south. Really great meatball sub with Orzo salad. Also took home some carmelized onion red sauce for dinner. All the deli items looked delicious! read more

Here's another store in Kittery that I've been going to for a few years, and I've never had anything from Terra Cotta that I didn't love. They make their own Ravioli stuffed with all kinds of things, pasta, gnocchi, etc. There are a variety of deli-ish salads, and balsamic vinegar that comes in big containers and you refill your own bottle. The only problem I've ever had was that after I took my selection out of their freezer, it felt like it took forever to get rung up because only one person was working. The wait really wasn't bad but I wanted to get the frozen stuff home while it was still frozen, and I had a ten minute drive ahead of me. Now I just tell them what I'm buying and take it out of the freezer after I pay for it. Go here, then cross the street and go to Beach Pea, Golden Harvest, and Carl's. Your shopping is now done and you'll eat like royalty. read more

We have been shopping regularly here for years. Have spent a lot of money. Today I went to stock up--fresh pasta, several sauces, fresh soft cheeses, a quart of soup. Went to the counter with my eye on the deli case where as usual I was about to pick up several items like risotto cakes, tortellini salad; looked up and saw a girl (yes, I would normally say young woman, but she acted like a rude GIRL) with NO MASK. What? You're up against the counter waiting on customers and you have NO MASK? You do know you could be spreading the virus, right? So I asked. And she said there was NO MANDATE. I guess customer service and respect has to be mandated, too. I said that shouldn't matter...that I was wearing one. She SHRUGGED and said, "Until someone MAKES me I'm not wearing one." So I told her that I was no longer shopping there and left my stuff. The other employees cooking heard me. Maybe management? Nobody came out to my car to apologize so I guess it was okay with them. Must not need customers. I know it's hard to find good help these days but you should at least make them wear masks AND teach them how to treat customers. So "until someone there makes" her, you do this you won't see me. read more

Always reliable and friendly. Love the prepared lasagna and the tiramisu. Always end up picking up a few staples too!

The staff was very friendly, the location is great, and the variety of options to choose from are many. If in the area and looking a a quick item to throw in the microwave for lunch, stop in. I loved how they had hot soups and other lunch items that do not have to be prepared at home. We took home a pre-packed seafood lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs. However-The spaghetti and meat were not as tasty as we had hoped for the price. However, considering the over all experience I would give them four stars-with the hopes of just a bad batch of pasta! read more

Have been meaning to try this local spot for a while and glad I finally did. The food was delicious and fresh. Servings are reasonable and prices are fair. The staff were very friendly and attentive, even when we showed up at closing time! They make an amazing vegetable soup and the eggplant Parmesan was outstanding! I would give them 5 stars if they had a GF bread option for sandwiches. read more

Three strikes and they're out. Local place we've tried three times..... big fail. Bad food. Pure and simple. Skimpy and bad. Meat sauce had MAYBEa teaspoon of granulated meat. Sauce was terrible- like old tomato paste. Tasted awful. And over priced. Did I mention the food is skimpy and bad? read more

I am pretty much in love with this place. I stop in every time I am on my way home from Portsmouth. Their ravioli is just TO DIE FOR. The same woman is always working when I go -- possibly the owner? -- and her and everyone else working there are always super friendly. Oh, and the Reese's peanut butter cup cookies? If they have any when you visit, SNATCH 'EM UP. So good. read more

I, too, love this place. The manager gave a small group of us an introduction to the store today, and it was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try everything they have! read more

Fantastic little gem that I randomly ran into driving through Kittery. I had the Eggplant Napoleon and a Crab Cake and they were both fantastic. The chocolate chip cookie was the perfect follow up. If you're anywhere close, stop by and sample a lunch there (they have 2 small tables outside) and then stock up on pasta, sauce, etc before you go. I'll be back again and again. Thanks!!! read more

Living in Portsmouth, I have heard great things about Terra Cotta Pasta, so I recently purchased the lobster ravioli's with the champagne cream sauce. I decided to add additional fresh lobster meat since I have a slight obsession with the succulent crustaceans. For the amount of money that I spent on this meal it was a complete let down. There was no flavor or substance to the champagne sauce and the ravioli tasted like something I could have picked up in the freezer section at Market Basket. Super bummed and disappointed =/ read more

Terra Cotta is one of our "go to" stops when you want to pick up dinner that will be easy to prepare and tasty. We always start with the cold case...the eggplant napoleon is my wife's favorite. I love the mushroom raviolis and their sauce. We've tried numerous heat n serve dinners from the fridge & their flatbreads are great. They always have great ideas and are always willing to help with cooking directions etc. it's pretty much a takeaway place. No dining room. Great ideas for a tasty dinner when you're in a time crunch, bored w cooking, or really any excuse will do. read more

A great place to pick up some fresh pasta or purchase a meal to go. We stopped and ate a quick lunch there, but there are only two small outside tables to sit down at. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff wonderfully helpful! I had the susage and pepperoni flatbread and my kid had the stromboli. read more

Called two days before Christmas party. They were swamped and didn't think they could take the order. Couldn't say I blame them because I had procrastinated. However, after some begging manager agreed to a chicken picata, lasagna, and grilled vegetable dish for 16 people. The food was amazing!!!!! They saved my dinner party and we were thrilled. We will call ahead next time in advance but no matter what we will be back! read more

We're new to the area, and so are in the process of checking out all the local digs. The owner at Terra Cotta once again reminded us of how much we love living in this little town. We got to sample the excellent, sweet balsamic that they offer in refillable containers, and were sent home with free dessert. The asparagus/mozz ravioli was excellent in the suggested olive and sun-dried tomato sauce. We braved traffic and ran across the road for a baguette at Beach Pea Bakery and had an excellent dinner for two for around 10 bucks. read more

I didn't have a chance to stop in here but I did buy some of their products at a local store. I cooked their frozen cavatelli and served the with three of their pasta sauces. All of the were fabulous - sundried tomato with olives, lemon and artichoke, and traditional basil. Clearly quality products for the home cook who is in a hurry. Definitely would stop here to see their full line of products. read more

Stopped here while passing by. Staff was extremely friendly and they have a great variety of italian pastas, desserts, oils and much more. They had fresh pizza ready to serve (which looked delicious!) along with fresh pastries. We bought the frozen mushroom ravioli which was delicious! We will definitely stop for a quick lunch and to stock up on pasta next time we are in the area! read more

You will not be disappointed with anything from this place, it's all super fresh and tasty. The people are friendly and there are always a few things to try when you're browsing. The kitchen is right there behind the counter and you can watch them cooking. Of course the wonderful smell of all the fresh ingredients cooking makes you want to buy everything! The store itself is tiny but the food is just heavenly. They have a good selection of wonderful food. Try it! read more

I was swooning in this place from the minute I walked in. The options are almost overwhelming (especially when hungry). We thought there was a place to sit down and eat the amazing flatbreads, lasagne, and other enticing prepared foods, but that is true only in the summer. So as we sampled about 20 different cheeses, pastas, spreads, crackers, and vinegars, we selected frozen ravioli and linguine to take home, along with several of the amazing sauces available. So far we tried the goat cheese and eggplant ravioli, sweet potato ravioli, peppercorn linguine, and cappellini; also the basic marinara and the carmelized onion sauce - all excellent! The best thing is this over-the-top mushroom sauce, which is so thick it's also great for bread or crackers. We'll be regular customers from now on. read more

The squash ravioli is incredible. The selection of olive oils is nifty. There are always samples of something new and interesting available. The staff is really super friendly but as others have said, the place is kind of small and gets busy and packed fast (especially in the summer, obviously.) Small price to pay for the yummy food. read more

One of my favorite food shops, so lucky that it is close by.

Excellent quality, fresh and delicous. They have great take out Italian. What more can I say. They also have salads , soup and sandwiches for a quick lunch on the go. Can't forget the Wine. Nice selection of Italian wine. Too bad they don't have enough room to sit and eat inside. Maybe in there next location. read more

Best lobster ravioli I have eaten hands down.
