If you love Stonewall's products, then you'll love them imperfect or misshapen for a discount. The products are still good, just maybe a little off from their quality control, and that's how they ended up gathered for good deals. I got peanut butter, jellies, spices, and soaps which were at really reasonable price points. Obviously, you can't come here seeking out something specific, but it's a great little treasure hunt for foods and kitchen/home products as something might strike your fancy. The place was bustling, but the lines moved steadily. It's motivating to try some new things, so if you are at the outlets, make this a definite stop. read more

Such a fun items to buy every time we come to visit. We always s find too much to purchase -We always love to stop in.

This place is wonderful with a comprehensive collection of mustards, jams, sauces and syrups to sample. All in a lovely store replete with specialized kitchen supplies, baking tins, measuring needs etc. as well as beautiful varied tea towels and books. There is also a cafe that we were too late in the day for (they close at 4:00 pm). We do look forward to returning for more jams and mustards but are probably stocked for a little while after this recent stop! read more

Picking up from my Stonewall Kitchen HQ review. As we're checking out, I ask the cashier: Is there Stonewall Kitchen Outlet? Yessir, a few miles down the road. My brother in law lost his mind! haha Stonewall Kitchen Outlet isn't a mirror image of the main store, not all of the products are for sale at the Outlet. I took a few pictures, there are imperfect blueberries in the Maine Blueberry Jam, soft corn in the Chow Chow, Labels that are slightly imperfect, are you feeling me? Items that would never pass the quality you expect from Stonewall Kitchen are now for sale in the Outlet. Days before we dined at the White Barn, I ordered a rack of Lamb. Do you know what this lamb needed? Mint Jelly! Don't wave a hand at me, I also eat french fries with my fingers. Behold, an entire shelf of Mint Jelly. I grabbed a jar, I don't care if the label says MINT JELLYS, Gettin' it! The same with the margarita mix, which I passed on at the regular store. My advice? Come here first, get one or two items then make your way to the Stonewall Kitchen HQ. While I am still getting over the Rochester Outlet on Amarosa closing, I was delighted to find this store in Kittery! The store is half Stonewall and half Village Candle, but the Stonewall section does not disappoint. Both sides offer the standard premium offerings, but also the seconds/discounted items... and quite a selection of both at about 50% of each when I visited the store. Naturally, because of Covid restrictions, sampling is not offered, but that is not a reason to not stop by. Seriously, this location really is worth stopping by. If you go to the flagship store in York, this location is about 5 miles South on US1 on the left. I definitely will be back! Thank you Stonewall for the great first shopping experience! read more

Stonewall Kitchen just opened an outlet next to Lululemon on the south side of Hwy 1 right before Crate & Barell. The store sells lots of their yummy dips, home items, decor and tons of candles. They also had some seasonal items. Items were priced below the store price by as much as 50% and extra 25% almost the entire store (except a few candles). There were a few special mark down food products and I asked why they were there and the reasoning was actually on the sign. Most were overproduction or label issue which did not impact the product. One sea salt caramel sauce was $3.00 just had to be stirred before hand. We were able to get the classic blueberry jam, pancake/waffle mix and some other yummy goodies. Half of the store was candles that are similiar to Yankee Candle. They haven't even been open a month so I'm sure more items will be arriving soon. I was impressed with the selection. No hand soaps though but they had a few of the lotions. Don't forget to grab a free set of matches from the bins by the registers. read more

Our family spent the day in Kittery shopping the week before Labor Day and my first impression when I walked into the store was one of delight! Everything was attractively displayed so I spent a bit of time in there choosing gifts and other items. Fun! I left the store with my bag and headed to other shops to add to my purchases. It had been a full day of shopping and we were grateful to return to our hotel, very happy to have had such success . The next day we headed back to our home in NY and unloaded the car. After several searches I realized that at some point I had left my Stonewall bag in one of the other outlet stores. Sooooo frustrating and disappointing!!! I tried calling several stores to see if they had found my bag, and as a last resort I thought that maybe someone had seen my bag somewhere and brought it back to Stonewall. Hooray!! Someone had and after speaking with the store manager as to how I could get it to my home, she offered to pack it up and mail it to me! Above and beyond and going the extra mile, I would say! Once again, THANK YOU!!! If we are ever up that way again I will definitely stop to say hello and make many new purchases (being very careful to hang on to them!) read more

Great selection of high quality products that you do not see in markets that carry Stonewall products.

If you are familiar with the Stonewall Kitchen Outlet stores (such as the one in Kittery), you probably also know that they have huge blowout sales a few times a year (usually in conjunction with three-day weekends, i.e. Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, etc.). You could score some great discounts on items that are about to hit their expiration date, first-quality items in which the label was not perfectly aligned on the product, or items that aren't up to snuff - such as jams that were runnier than they should be. All of these items were greatly reduced in price, and the best feature was that you'd get an additional 25% discount on your entire purchase. Sadly, like many other things these days, the good times are no longer. Gone are the major markdowns. Outlet items are now priced at just a slight discount from regular retail. Also gone is the 25% discount. Now it's only 20% And the wide and varied merchandise selections the Outlet stores used to have, has been reduced to just a handful of different items. At first I thought that founders Jonathan and Jim were facing economic pressures and maybe made these pricing moves with a great deal of reluctance, lest they tick-off their longtime customers. Alas, that isn't the case. Jonathan and Jim sold the company to a venture capital firm (TA Associates) a while back. Good for them. It was a thirty-year journey for them and the thought of retiring with financial security must have been very appealing. Heck, none of us are getting any younger. Although I have no first-hand knowledge of this, I always had the impression that Jonathan and Jim successfully balanced the growth of the company with treating their employees well, making high-quality products accessible to a large chunk of the population (without getting all snooty about the brand), and managed to pay themselves modestly. I never had the impression that they were out to screw the customer and squeeze every last penny from their pockets. I also think this helped to generate a significant customer loyalty to the brand. Now that the company is being run by nameless faceless venture capitalists the change is evident. I doubt any of the senior management at TA Associates makes regular visits to Stonewall Kitchen retail locations. Rather, they're motivated by greed; squeezing as much money from Stonewall as they can while watching Stonewall become an empty shell of what it was under Jonathan and Jim. All I can say is that a visit to the Stonewall Outlet location in Kittery is no longer part of my July 4th or Labor Day plans. read more

Super excited for this new place. I love their products and the price for these 'imperfect', discontinued, overstocks are great. The signs tell you why they're discounted. All of the items were still within expiry, but check the dates before purchase. There were Aioli, pasta sauce, jams, dips, pancake mix at the time of visit. However expect that the inventory will change often. Additionally there are some Knick knacks and items for entertaining (decor, plates). They share a space with yankee candles and carry products from Vermont village. Products include Apple cider and apple sauce. Located next to lululemon and the Thai restaurant. read more
