I think this is my favorite shop in ogunquit. We had a newbie to the area in our trip this weekend and she loved this place just as much as I do that we came back the next morning for more things she just couldn't stop thinking about! The gentleman we interacted with both times was so nice and friendly and made our experience a good one. They have some of the best seasoning mixes to make dips, or put on crackers that you have to stop in here! They always have some to sample so you have an idea of what it will taste like. read more

We were walking and noticed this beautiful house that is also an incredible welcoming shop. As we walked up the walkway the first thing you see are the beautiful flowers and shrubs! The grass is so green you are drawn into wanting to explore to see more. As we walk up the steps you'll find a porch with very comfortable furniture and more beautiful plants! We had to sit and admire before we went into the house. Once we enter the shop we were greeted by the owners. They welcomed us to their shop and offered us a sample of a wine slushie. How could we say no? Lol. So delicious. I must say I felt like I was visiting friends that's how welcoming this shop is. There is much to see and the samples are plentiful! Disappointed. This has been my favorite shop in Ogunquit for years. Unfortunately it has lost its " must visit" status. The awesome photography by David Sullivan is no longer available /featured,- replaced by more and more melamine dish-ware. Pocketbook collection that was so unique is no longer carried. The focus is primarily candles (which are nice) and Stonewall products and samples. Unique and unusual finds are no longer found here -perhaps since opening their second location in Florida they are spreading themselves too thin? Walking around the shop I found beautiful candles to jams and even kitchen/living decorations for any picky shopper. My favorite experience by far was sampling the wine slushee while looking around the shop.Pricing is fair for what's available, the shop being a tourist/village area. Such a cute little shop! They have a large variety of things & the environment is just wonderful. I wandered in and wished I could've just hung out there for a few hours! We came to Ogunquit with a group of friends for a long weekend and while exploring the downtown area came upon Spoiled Rotten. It is such a cool little store that has a little bit of everything from sauces and mixes to candles, soaps and assorted home goods. The staff is super friendly and is very knowledge about the items. My husband and I shopped here on my birthday on a recommendation from a local. Toby and Skip took great care of us. They have a huge selection of locally made candles. Toby knew everything about the products they carry. They made the experience fun and very friendly. Lots of great stuff for yourself and your home. They had so many items on two floors. Best shop in Ogunquit. The soy candles are so yummy - we have them perched on walls in each room of our house. The best one is "Pawsitively Ogunquit" - some proceeds go to animals and the scent is light and fresh and also gets rid of nasty odors. This is a great shop for locals and tourists. Lots of unique gifts and decor. This is not one of the regular tourist shops with marked up beach junk. They have unique gifts and decor of all types spaced tightly across the two floors of space. A few rooms are even dedicated to jams and candles. My mother is a huge fan, always finding something interesting decor wise, I personally love the soy candle and jams selections. They staff is always friendly and seem to really love the place and their job. (I would too If I worked a short walk away from the beach) They are even animal friendly, often having dog water bowls outside. Undoubtedly your wife will find several items that she "can't live without," despite the fact that up to that point in your life, you didn't know that thing even existed. The store is chock full of items you will not want. You will be forced to spend money you have mentally earmarked for golf balls, power tools and ammunition for your AR-15 and Glocks. I took immediate offense to the sign at the door requiring parents to hold their children's hands in the store. And I don't have little kids!! There are ways to make that request-or to make your store and merchandise safe without turning people off. Sadly, they failed in that regard. It just seemed really rude and unwelcoming. This is my favorite store in all of Maine. My parents even made a special drive to get Christmas stocking items for me. I looooooooove their candles, especially since there are several that are inspired by the immediate local area. I love the Stonewall Kitchen items and would rather buy it here instead of the actual store up the road. I love the "Spoil Me" shirts, their bottlecap magnets, the drawer sachets, and all the other just plain fun items they have!
