The gentleman behind the counter greeted us when we entered, offered to hang up our coats for us if we didn't want to wear them, and engaged us in conversation. Buddy, the dog, is a well known fixture at this store. Though he is ten years old, he didn't seem skittish around customers at all and welcomed belly rubs. Very cute! Great little gift shop! Then the store transitions to Backyard Birds and Garden Frills in the back. Again they have nice quality things that range from unique bird feeders to gorgeous fountains for a formal garden. But, the nicest thing of all is that all around both stores are gardens that you can walk through. In July they even have a lily sale where you can go around and hand pick which flowers you like and they will dig up the plant for you and you can bring it home to plant at your home. The gardens are meticulously maintained and the place is surrounded by so many birds. They come to the feeders and the fountains surrrounding the store. Whatever they do use works!
