But here is my only complaint.... The scones are not great. I think it is nice that they have a wide variety of pastries. But the scone (blueberry white chocolate) was both super dry and overly sweet. I couldn't even finish it. It was honestly reminiscent of crumbl cookies. So if you like sickeningly sweet scones (like the cookies at Crumbl!), then this would be great. I've had scones like this where it is balanced, but I fear this was too much and I probably won't get a scone here the next time I come. The cafe is in two parts - when you enter, there is a counter to order at and various store items available for purchase. After ordering and receiving your drink, you can go through a narrow hallway to a larger seating area. There is a good amount of seating, but it can sometimes get busy. I have worked from this cafe before and I'd say it may be better to work alone than work with friends if you're going here since some of the tables are a little small and will be tight with two laptops. Service is very quick and the workers are very friendly. The drink pickup can be a little awkward since you pickup where you ordered and sometimes there's a line of people you have to sort of go through but I've never found it to be too much of a problem.

They were substantially filled with cheese eggs and bacon and or sausage. I ordered chorizo on my sausage bagel sandwich. Everything is made to order. My sons said they really liked their sandwiches which were bacon egg and cheese on English. Most of the sandwiches are on the menu with homemade biscuit but we ordered with English muffin. They have ugly sticks and the first time we saw that was many years ago after moving to York. The sticks are made from buttermilk batter and come in differing sugary coatings. People love those and they sell out fast. St Joes is known for its benes. The little beignet dough balls. We have never had them, but customers were coming in and ordering a dozen at a time, so I feel like these are very popular here. They also have a great selection of coffees and lattes. Their prices are on par and reasonable. The staff were personable and friendly. There is a small area to sit inside although that fills up pretty quickly on a weekend. There is online ordering although, one of the staff told me they shut it down when they are really busy. Young people, old people (like me) all seemed to enjoy coming in here. I think St Joes has a large following and for good reason. I'll come again with my 13 yr old twins and try some of those benes soon.
