    3 Hail Marys!
    Caroline A.

Ladies at the counter were so nice and pleasant! They recommended the 3 Hail Marys and I have four words.. TIGER TEETH CREAM CHEESE!!!

Patty Joe. Sausage, egg, cheese, hash brown on a biscuit.

Stopped for coffee and ended up eating breakfast. The staff was friendly and quick and the breakfast sandwiches were great. We ordered the "Patty Joe" and the "Betsy". We will visit again when we return to York Beach.

Yummy biscuit. Cute little coffee and bakery. Nice service. The coffee is self serve but I got americano. The prices are reasonable and the best part is that they are open year round. Wohoo.

Came here on a 4-day trip and ended up getting breakfast here twice. The breakfast sandwiches are out of the world, one of a kind. Ingredients are great and awesome breakfast options. It also opens at 6pm, came here right after watching sunrise!

    Ranchero breakfast sandwich

We were staying at a local Inn, and needed a quick breakfast to begin our day's journey. We ordered 2 of the Ranchero breakfast sandwich, served on an English muffin. What a sandwich. It had egg whites , bacon and avocado. Huge and delicious. We had planned on eating in the car while driving, but when we saw the size of the sandwich we opted to eat in their dining area. They also have a large selection of coffee drinks. What a great local place. They have a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches.

The real menu. The others are outdated.

While the food and coffee are both very good, there are a few things that could make the business a bit friendlier to customers. 1. The pre covid 2019 menu is still listed on the web site. Many items are no longer available. 2. The hours posted online in various places are incorrect: they are currently open til 1pm not 5pm and only wed-sun. 3. I ordered 6 different yet similar looking breakfast sandwiches today. No labels or any way to identify easily which was which were provided. All they need is a black marker. Whoever runs the business should try to keep these things as updated as possible. And order a black marker :) that said the food is so good I'll still return.

    Three Hail Marys

Wow! I stumbled upon this place while visiting Maine and it does not disappoint! Possibly my favorite finding in the quaint York. This place is known for their bennies (beignets), which are solid! Fluffy and delicious. I myself am not the biggest fan of sweets but would recommend trying. The kicker here = the breakfast sandwiches/biscuits. I am obsessed. I had the Lil Joe which was loaded with breakfast meats, the Three Hail Marys which is a delicious delicious spicy combo of ingredients, and the Chicken Biscuit which has their incredible tiger cream cheese. I loved them all! The biscuits were so fresh and delicious, wonderfully textured, just wow. All of the ingredients in the aforementioned sandwiches were otherwise delectable, good quality, and tasted fresh! Would recommend any and all of the above depending on your tastes. I also had a coffee which was solid. Tip: order ahead online if able. The cafe itself is relatively crowded with limited seating, so lots of people are standing around waiting for their orders. The wait was ~20-30 minutes for me at what I presume was a busy time (breakfast). The service was solid when I went, no complaints. There is parking on site. Swing by! Try the sandwiches/biscuits for sure, consider the bennies, and have a coffee while you're at it. I highly recommend this place! If I ever find myself back in York, I'll be returning.

    BEIGN-YAYS!!!!
    Amanda B.

What can you say besides BEIGN-YAYS! A coffee shop that just happens to have an amazing treat that reminds me of my vacations to LA?!? Sign me up for a visit every single time I'm in the area. These babies didn't even need dipping sauce but I loved the choices. Honestly maple syrup was the best. It didn't overwhelm the flavor, was just a nice touch. Chocolate was fine but it took away from the dough taste.

Patty Joe breakfast sandwich. So delicious.

Honestly, I am still thinking about the breakfast sandwich that I had here during my vacation in Maine. We got the Patty Joe breakfast biscuit which had egg, sausage, cheese, and a hash brown... sounds pretty standard but it was next level. We went back a couple days later for more!

Wow. Best bacon egg and cheese in the state of Maine. So fresh so decadent and their coffee hits the spot. Purchased the patty Joe, nor Easter, the Besty, and we couldn't miss out on their famous fried dough bennies. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a yummy quick breakfast.

The company was initially started as a homemade products stall at a local farmers market. Working from a small folding table and calling themselves "Stonewall Kitchen", the stall was successful, selling all stock. The business eventually began producing vinegars, oils, pesto, jams and baked goods. The operation then branched out into selling wholesale, and by 1993 they were approached by Crate & Barrel to produce 2,500 jars of Orange Cranberry Marmalade. To increase production capacity, Stonewall Kitchen purchased and renovated an 18th-century barn in Kittery, Maine. By 2000, they moved to a larger property in nearby York. A visitors area was added to this facility in 2003. As of 2022, Stonewall Kitchen is now owned by TA Associates. The brand is now available in 42 countries and the York facility receives over 500,000 visitors annually. My extended family and I visited the Stonewall Kitchen Company Store & Café this past summer while we were vacationing in York. The location is just gorgeous and features every Stonewall Kitchen product imaginable in the store. We loaded up on quite a few of our favorite products and even discovered some new ones; lots of free samples too! We also decided to stay for lunch in the café, which features delicious menu items made with Stonewall Kitchen products. I ordered the "Lobster Mac & Cheese" (Montebello organic torchiette pasta, fresh local lobster meat, mascarpone, fontina, asiago, cheddar, served w/ mixed greens & classic Italian dressing), my wife had the "Lobster BLT" (fresh local lobster meat, cherrywood-smoked bacon, celery, green leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, housemade basil mayonnaise, buttered brioche, served w/ dill pickle spear & housemade Maine potato chips), our older son had the "Turkey Club" (sliced roasted turkey breast, cherrywood-smoked bacon, garlic herb cheese spread, cucumbers, green leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, red pepper jelly, sliced sourdough bread), and our younger son had the "Mac & Cheese" (Montebello organic torchiette pasta, mascarpone, fontina, asiago, cheddar). Not surprisingly, everything was superb! We had a memorable experience at the Stonewall Kitchen Company Store and we hope to return in the future!

I'm a mom to 4-year-old twins, and medicine has been one of the hardest parts of parenting. I've never felt good about giving them over-the-counter cold meds--too many weird ingredients I can't pronounce, and they never seem to help much anyway. But finding natural remedies that actually work? That's been a whole other struggle. Every fall, I make my annual trip to Societe to stock up on my go-to teas: Throat Ease, Get Well, Breathe, Fever Break, Be Well Immuni Tea, and Digest Ease. The first five are always in my pantry. When my kids start sniffling or coughing, I don't even think twice--I make them a warm cup of tea. It's so much easier than fighting with them to take some nasty-tasting syrup that ends up all over their shirt or spit out halfway through. These teas work fast, they taste good, and I feel better knowing I'm helping their little bodies heal naturally. Now let me talk about Digest Ease, because this one... wow. If you've been through potty training, you know the constipation phase is brutal. My daughter was in so much pain, scared to go, crying, and I felt helpless. Doctors kept recommending milk of magnesia and other stuff that just didn't feel right. I tried everything--fiber, prune juice, homeopathic drops--and nothing gave her consistent relief. Digest Ease was the only thing that helped. It's gentle, it works fast, and it gave my daughter real relief without the drama. I've told every mom friend I know about it, and they've all had the same experience. If you're a parent who's tired of chemical-filled meds and just wants something safe, natural, and effective--these teas are it. They're not just products. They're part of how I care for my kids. I'll never go another season without them.
