Traveling up Route 1 my wife and I were on the lookout for a coffee spot! We stopped nearby looking around the area and once I saw mentions of them having goats, I knew we needed to stop. Good sized parking lot and while I believe they have an inside area we went to the order window to grab coffees and enjoy the nice weather. They have food but we had already eaten so will need to return later on. Besides the typical drinks they offered some good seasonal drinks as well. I ended up going with Strawberry Fields, that had an incredible flavor to it. My wife got their Maude's Mocha and really enjoyed it as well. Top notch drinks by far, worthy of returning to. While we did enjoy the drinks the mention of them having goats was a huge reason for coming by. Besides goats, they also have some chickens. Both areas have some picnic tables to enjoy your food and drinks. They had roughly 5 or 6 goats and we got all of them to come over for some love and scratches. Goats are one of my favorite animals since I've worked with them for so many years and loved meeting some new ones. One had a feisty attitude but even she came around and enjoyed scratches on her withers(back). The coffee, lattes, smoothies, bagels and breakfast sandies all outstanding and always consistently delish. It's a great start to any beach day. The line might look long, but it moves fast. I've never thought a cashier wanted me dead more than I did today at this place. I've also never seen someone so offended that my friend wanted an alternative milk. Espresso in both our lattes was burnt and did not have cold foam on them, just a frothy milk that evaporated almost instantly. The cook that brought us our sandwiches was very nice, and the sandwiches were good but had a sinister amount of cream cheese on them. read more

I made a stop this morning to meet a colleague who was visiting the area. What a neat spot! It seems to be a popular spot with the summer tourists and for good reason. They have a solid bagel selection and make a variety of sandwiches and other breakfast items, plus all the expected coffee and tea beverages you'd wish for. We ordered at the window and the cashier was very pleasant and smiley. There's space to be inside as well as a number of picnic tables but front. Everything was neat and tidy. Absolutely loved this place! Brewed Awakenings has the perfect cozy farm vibe--super cute aesthetic with a classic truck out front that sets the tone right away. They even had goats, which was such a fun and unexpected touch. The coffee was excellent--smooth and flavorful, just what you want to start your day. We grabbed some bagels and the sweet potato hash, both of which were delicious. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to slow down, sit outside, and enjoy the morning. Definitely a must-stop if you're in the area. I've been dying to try this place and i'm so glad i did. It's the cutest little spot in the side of route 1. They have a an adorable walk up window. outside, as well as a counter and several tables inside. There is a spacious parking lot, and they even have farm animals at the back that are really sweet to hangout with while you wait for your coffee (goats/chickens!) The food was sooo good and very fairly priced for this area. My iced coffee was kind of meh, and the syrups they use are just monin/torani, but for the price point that's to be expected. read more

I didn't realize how big it was, the order window faces the parking lot outside and they have a couple deck chairs and outdoor tables, but on the road-side there's a series of other tables and then an indoor area where you can eat as well. Menu is moderately varied, lots of bagel/breakfast sandwich options and a few 'brunch plates.' I got a breakfast sandwich on the english muffin instead of the bagel (high bagel standards) and the English muffin was really tasty! A friend got the iced coffee and said it was only okay. She also got one of the bagels that was pretty medium, but the sandwich itself was good. read more

People are nice. The place is also quite nice I must say for a relaxing morning. I'm a local and it was my first time here. My go to order at new places is always an untoasted bagel and coffee just to see how it is bagels are great actually but it did take a lot longer so I wouldn't recommend if you are in any rush is all. It's not McDonald's quick but that's usually a really good indication of better quality at least. read more

Love this place! They have been open for summer. The bagels are great, I usually (which means we have been here more than once) order the pumpernickel with an extra shmear! The owner has a little farmland right behind the shop that has goats and chicken. Kids love spending time around that place. The owner is very nice and they take the orders seriously, especially since we always have special requests like extra cream cheese, or no bacon etc. They are very friendly and will also let you in on farm news (we heard the goat gave birth to a kid - yes that is the actual word for a goat offspring!!) Y'all this is the perfect quaint and trendy Maine coffee shop that we all need in our life vacationing or not. I wanted to get a tad bit away from touristy Ogunquit, so I turned to Yelp and found this spot. So glad I did! I love coffee and I cannot do a morning without it, and I especially love cute coffee shops. The weather was perfect, so not having indoor space didn't phase me at all. I also didn't have time to sit and hang out but they had chalk and a bubble machine for the kiddos so that's always a win-win when you are a parent! I grabbed one of my kids and ordered a coffee, a breakfast sandwich, and a blueberry scone. I ate that all myself- don't judge- it's vacation . My latte was good. It doesn't stand out as anything exceptional or terrible but hits the spot. The breakfast sandwich was nothing short of amazing! The bagel they said was a NYC bagel- it was perfect amount of chewy. The bacon, egg and cheese were perfect as well. The gold star here though was the blueberry scone- and they said I bought the last one! Blueberries in Maine are so much better than back home, sweet in themselves. In Maine they don't have to overpower dishes with sugar because the blueberries are sweet enough. It was probably made with buttermilk and it was not too sweet, it was just perfection! So much so that I wanted my husband to taste this delicious scone- which was absolutely a highlight of my trip. We stopped by on our way out of town on a Wednesday to find them closed . We went to a coffee shop an hour or so away and it was awful so that's sad. Places in Maine have weird opening and closing days so don't be like me- check if it's open first! Lastly, there were little farm animals nearby and oh so cute! Attempted to place an online order several times without success, instead called Brewed Awakenings to place a phone order. I was quite rudely told by the woman who answered the phone that the online ordering system was easy and that other customers were not having issues. She refused to take my order over the phone. One of our favorite breakfast gems in Maine. Wonderful place, with outdoor tables in the front and back of the restaurant. We sat at a cute picnic table in the front. Lots of different food and drink options. Our group had a mix of breakfast sandwiches and bagels. Bagels were fresh, toasty and very good. Eggs, sausage and bacon in "The Dude" shouldn't be passed up. Our drinks included a homemade strawberry lemonade that they recommended, that was great. Real pieces of strawberry and fresh lemon taste, just wonderful. We had to get a 2nd one before we left. I also had their Chai latte, very good too, could tell they made it with actual Chai tea, instead of a sugary mix. Very enjoyable. Staff/ owner was responsive and super nice, which just makes good food and drink taste better. Yelp claimed they were closed, but when we drove by they were open. The place is so good. The two women working/taking orders were friendly and seemed to be truly invested in giving my family delicious food. We ordered a coffee cake muffin as an "appetizer" and it was gone within seconds. It was excellent. My kids loved it. I ordered a new item on the menu - The Dadwich (hot pastrami, grilled onions, egg, and cheese). It was AMAZING. I will think about this bagel sandwich for a looong time. Awesome! Long lines but worth the wait! This used to be a hidden gem...even the tourists are catching on!

Minus the unbelievably long wait (once to order and once to get the food - over an hour) it was perfect. And to be fair, long waits are expected in summer. The loaded potato was absolutely delicious. People were very friendly and the atmosphere was playful and comfortable. One recommendation is to get more tables or put an awning over the front tables. read more

Can't speak on the food, but we ordered some drip coffee and a latte and honestly for roughly $8 and change we should have hit a gas station or McDonals and paid half the price. Drip coffee was super watery, tasted more like coffee water and the latte - I don't know what that was. read more

The owner and her mom were lovely, everything was clean and COVID-safe, the goats and chickens were a big hit, as were the chalkboard tables, and even our pup was comfortable and welcome. Cute little coffee shop with a surprisingly large breakfast menu. They have a pastry section but also a variety of bagel sandwiches and breakfast entrees. Service is quick and friendly and the iced coffee was delicious on a hot, humid summer morning. It's very kid friendly with outdoor picnic tables with chalk for drawing. I stopped by twice based on hours posted online and was twice disappointed to find they were not open. Third time's a charm though and I was glad I had not given up. Friendly service, absolutely inviting and beautiful atmosphere between seating in the barn and multiple outdoor options among the gardens. Awesome goats :). What a wonderful place! We're in town for the weekend and - natch - needed a place for coffee. Happened upon Brewed Awakening and boy are we glad we did! Coffee is delicious as is their Chai. The bagels smelled amazing but we didn't get any. They've done an AWESOME job making it a friendly, comfortable place to hang out.
