Honestly Hate to leave a review like this, but our entire experience here was just a miss. The atmosphere was weird and confusing, with a huge sign saying to order online from your phone, so we started to do that, but the staff eventually asked if we were ready to order. We got 2 sandwiches and an iced coffee. The turkey blt wish garlic aioli was all around bad. The bread (peasant) had literally no flavor at all, as if it was made without salt. The aioli tasted off, and the red onions tasted like they'd gone bad. The tuna melt was honestly not bad, but they forgot the pickles and we felt sick very shortly after eating it. The iced coffee was fine, but tasted and looked very watered down. All around, we spent $47 here and felt that it was very not worth it. I was in town for a sports event, saw this place as I drove by, and snagged a u-turn! I don't regret it. The cinnamon swirl thingies were life changing. The rosemary dinner rolls were AMAZING... I did my best to not eat the bag on our roadtrip home. Service was friendly and pricing was reasonable. I'll definitely come back and have lunch next time I'm in town. read more

Stopped here for a late breakfast after a morning on Ogunquit beach. Staff was nice. I had a chicken tarragon melt on rosemary bread and omg it was delicious!!! Had a soup and bread, both were good. Slightly expensive but not overly. Bought the banana bread loaf bcuz the slices looked nice and moist. And it was and is pretty good except I really wish they would indicate that there were slices of coconut in it for which I really do not like at all. Chocolate chips are the only thing that should be added in my opinion and I probably wouldn't have gutted if I had known coconut was in it. That's why I'm giving a less than savory star rating. Ordered a simple turkey sandwich with a couple veggies and mustard. I left without checking the order so it's partially my fault but when I got home I opened the bag to find a tuna fish sandwich with nothing I ordered and a bunch of cheese. Love Borealis sourdough bread. It is real sourdough . It is made with sourdough starter unlike most of the packaged bread claiming to be sourdough. Be sure to check the ingredients if you want the health benefits of a real sourdough. It will say starter in ingredient list . My favorite is the French Peasant sourdough. The Italian and multigrain sourdough is also very good. Give them a try, they are really yummy! read more

While it is a lovely place for coffee and desserts I was so disappointed that all of their bread and Italian rolls was prepackaged in plastic wrap. No crusty loaves of bead or rolls here. Went to Hannaford , WONDERFUL Italian, crusty, rosemary olive oil bread .I sliced down the middle. I added butter. Fresh flat leaf Italian parsley, fresh minced garlic, and butter. Nice spot for a quick lunch and snack. They offer a wide variety of grilled sandwiches around $10. They have sauces, salads, bread and baked goods for sale. My sandwich was delicious but the aoili isn't for everyone. Our 12oz macaroni salad was $5.99 which we thought was overpriced. My sandwich was a 5/5 and I'd return for that. Knocking a star because not many items were priced and the macaroni salad was expensive for what we got. Make sure you know the price of what you're bringing to the register. read more

Nothing artisanal, or in any way suggestive of good quality bread here. Soft and squishy, run-of-the-mill white bread-based food. Oh, and if you order a cup of water to go with your food, be prepared to pay an extra charge for the cup. All in all, a very disappointing, negative experience. read more

Used to come every year when I was younger for crusty bread and scampi butter to eat with my family on the beach. Went today and got an Italian loaf, nice crusty outside with soft airy inside, with nice sourdough flavor. They were out of scampie butter to my horror . We got the roasted garlic butter, which is really good, nice chunks of roasted garlic in the creamy butter, very good flavor. We brought it to the beach and ripped off chunks of the bread to slide into the butter, sooo good! read more
