Coconut shavings, I picked out. No indication of this additive on the label.
    Robert D.

Had a soup and bread, both were good. Slightly expensive but not overly. Bought the banana bread loaf bcuz the slices looked nice and moist. And it was and is pretty good except I really wish they would indicate that there were slices of coconut in it for which I really do not like at all. Chocolate chips are the only thing that should be added in my opinion and I probably wouldn't have gutted if I had known coconut was in it. That's why I'm giving a less than savory star rating. Service was nice enough, but not necessarily overly friendly and the ambience felt like a country store.

Lunchables veggie with goat cheese on fresh rosemary bread. A+

Small local stop that is a bakery first but the sandwiches stand out and the soups are homemade delish. I have always picked up bread here but recently, have been getting my lunch fix here frequently. Made to order with fresh ingredients and service with a smile. They love to customize your order and will give you excellent service and what you want. If you have the opportunity to have Hooe craft your order, DO IT. She is an artist with an outgoing personality!! Today was a veggie with goat cheese on house made rosemary. Wow, one of the beat Sammy's I've had I. A long time. Great balance of crunch & creamy on a very fresh rosemary bread. I could easily eat this daily. Easily. A definite local favorite

Store employees were extremely helpful and offered many recommendations! Bought a French baguette and blueberry pie! Both were excellent!

    Turkey bacon melt. Delicious

Very personable staff. Bread was best feature of lunch. Sandwich was fine, but soup was overspiced.

My husband got the giant Prosciutto Focaccia sandwich, and it was so good. The focaccia is made fresh in-house, and you can definitely taste the difference. We got there around 1:00, so most of the pastries were already gone, but we did snag an apple tartlet, and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back, but next time we're coming earlier to check out the breakfast sandwiches and quiche!

The staff was incredibly friendly, and my order came out quickly. There's plenty of seating to choose from, including cozy couches, high-top tables, and standard dining tables, making it a great spot whether you're meeting friends or settling in to work. They also offer free Wi-Fi, which was a huge plus. I started with an iced mocha made with their house-made mocha sauce, and it was delicious. I also ordered the cruffin breakfast sandwich, which absolutely lived up to the hype. Since I ended up staying for a few hours, I went back for a second drink--an iced coffee with hazelnut cold foam. I loved that they offer so many different cold foam flavors to choose from. If you're looking for a welcoming coffee shop with great food, excellent coffee, and a comfortable place to work or relax, Baker Bru is definitely worth a visit!

The staff were efficient and friendly, and everything came out fresh. Congdon's has a really nice variety of donuts, muffins, and other baked goods, and everything we tried was delicious. The blueberry fritter was the star crisp on the outside, soft inside, and packed with blueberry flavor. I would absolutely recommend it. They also offer a sit‑down breakfast with classic options like breakfast sandwiches and French toast, so it's a good spot whether you just want coffee and a box of donuts or a full morning meal. Overall, great service, excellent donuts, and definitely worth the short wait. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

They have long lines that move very quickly, lots of self-seating available indoors and outdoors, and a very cute patio area and some photo-ops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a half dozen donuts to try: the maple glazed, chocolate glazed, strawberry frosted, chocolate creme filled, glazed, and a blueberry fritter. The fritter was the favorite of the group, followed by the maple (iconic Maine flavors!) We would definitely skip the chocolate and the strawberry frosted next time and opt to try some other fritter flavors.

Good sized parking lot and while I believe they have an inside area we went to the order window to grab coffees and enjoy the nice weather. They have food but we had already eaten so will need to return later on. Besides the typical drinks they offered some good seasonal drinks as well. I ended up going with Strawberry Fields, that had an incredible flavor to it. My wife got their Maude's Mocha and really enjoyed it as well. Top notch drinks by far, worthy of returning to. While we did enjoy the drinks the mention of them having goats was a huge reason for coming by. Besides goats, they also have some chickens. Both areas have some picnic tables to enjoy your food and drinks. They had roughly 5 or 6 goats and we got all of them to come over for some love and scratches. Goats are one of my favorite animals since I've worked with them for so many years and loved meeting some new ones. One had a feisty attitude but even she came around and enjoyed scratches on her withers(back). A coffee shop worth stopping at for friendly service with a smile, tasty coffee and cute goats!

Waitress was nice but accidentally overlooked me - water and coffee went first to the couple next to me who were seated after me. I had to get her attention, she apologized for forgetting the drinks and was pleasant. She then asked me if I wanted my check less than 10 minutes after I was served and at that point I kept an eye on my watch. I asked for a refill on water and it was a little awkward. I walked out the door 15 minutes after she asked me if I wanted the check, so maybe 25 minutes after being served and with the feeling that I had overstayed my welcome. I paid $28 for the food and a mug of coffee with tip and had the strong feeling that I overstayed my welcome. As a person who earns $25 an hour it's a big deal to go out for breakfast and this experience felt bad. I ordered the burrito without sausage and it was very bland; so maybe the usual seasoning didn't work without sausage. Hash browns, shredded potato style, were forgettable...not raw but also not especially well cooked or seasoned. Syscoesque guacamole, sourcream, pico on the side. More of a bakery pancake/waffle/place than eggs. Def not a burrito place.
