The most delicious cake for any chocolate/coffee lover out there.

My favorite bakery in all the land. I've been coming here for MANY years. I am never disappointed. There a vast selection of baked goodies and yummy coffee. When I come up I stock up on all the family favs. They freeze extremely well. I've sent items as gifts and my friends have loved them so much. Each year my birthday cake is a chocolate mocha cake that is to die for.

Bread and Roses bakes up a large selection of delicious goodies! I wanted to take one bite of everything. We preordered my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary cake and it was heavenly. We got the wild Maine blueberry and lemon cake. The cream cheese lemon icing was particularly divine! It went perfectly with some bubbly for the special occasion.

Disappointing raspberry oat bar - soggy maybe it was the hard to open packaging - A raspberry oat bar, partially unwrapped, is shown resting on a woven surface. The bar has a crumbly oat topping and visible raspberry filling. The packaging features a label from Chocolate Raspberry Bakehouse, indicating the bakery's name and origin. The surface beneath the bar appears to be a textured, woven material, possibly a basket or mat.

Years ago ( when Bread and Roses was in Ogunquit and had different owners ) it was 5 stars.... I used to take my kids in trr he see for a special treat after the beach on vacation. ... it was the best bakery I'd been to . Now it's sad... almost hidden in Wells.., terrible hours, no bakery to walk in a peruse....you have to order at a window I hit a chocolate raspberry oat bar that was sealed in a commercial package and was soggy and yuk. Sad this business won't make it . Too bad the old owners sold it It's nowhere near what it was

Menu! - The image shows a large black menu board mounted on a gray metal wall outside Bread & Roses Bakery. The menu lists various baked goods, including morning bakes like muffins and scones, sweet treats such as cookies and brownies, and cake slices with different flavors. The board also mentions daily changing varieties and available 6-inch cakes. A bakery sign with the name and logo is visible above the menu.

Came here after attempting to go to Dunkin' and the line was too long there. 10x better food and drinks and much quicker! The parking is a little tight - there is only parking for about 7 cars max, so I'm sure it gets busy peak season. I have wanted to come here before but it was too busy so I drove past. However, now that I know how good it is, I will make more of an effort to come back! My mom always raves about the Carpe Diem coffee they serve. I expected it to taste the same as any other coffee I've had, but it was actually some of the best I've had! I ordered an iced caramel latte (they have dairy alternatives) and I got my mom a hazelnut hot coffee, both were delicious! For food, my mom got a lemon blueberry scone and I got a spinach and cheese croissant. She said it was the best scone she's ever had and appreciated the huge size and Maine blueberries inside. I enjoyed my croissant, but I almost wish I got a plain one. The actual croissant was so delicious and flavorful, but the only flavor I got was spinach. Staff was super nice as well, and I looked inside and saw such a huge variety of baked goods. They told me it was all freshly baked that morning too! Prices are on the high end, but on par with what I would expect from a high quality bakery like this. I will be back, especially since its 2 minutes from my moms house :)

We paid premium prices to order a blueberry sour cream coffee cake via Goldbelly. The coffee cake tasted great but there were some technical issues with the cake. You can see it's darker around the edges so it's a bit over baked and all the berries sunk to the bottom. A little disappointed. The delivery was also a day late. Not sure if the issue was with Goldbelly, UPS or Bread and Roses.

Possible the best blueberry pie I have ever eaten. This is the real deal. I will be asking if they'll share the recipe. - A blueberry pie with a golden, flaky crust and a deep purple blueberry filling is shown in a disposable aluminum pie pan. A slice has been removed, revealing the filling inside. The crust appears crisp and slightly cracked on top, with some crumbs around the edges and in the pan.

This is the new location of the highly-rated Bread & Roses bakery that was a few miles south of here on Main St in Ogunquit. This location is also on Route 1 but is being operated as a takeout window only, presumably for safety reasons as the pandemic continues. The window does not face the road, so you have to keep an eye out for it, but there's plenty of free parking in the back. As for the baked goods, where do I begin? I suppose the answer has to start with the Maine blueberry pie, which may be the best blueberry pie I've ever had. The cakes are pretty special, too, and sold by the slice. But then there's the cinnamon butter puffs, the whoopee pies, the croissants, the cookies, the bread... one trip isn't enough.

The whoopie pies are simply awful. The outer shell is heavy and doughy while the inside filling is simply way too sweet to be edible.

A real refreshing old type bakery. They make fantastic cakes and pies. Old fashion hand held snacks are nostalgic. Just the best.

It wasn't until I got to Crane Estate in Ipswich when I started chomping down on these fried delectables sent from heaven. Imaginary tears ran down my face as I picked out the last bit of crumbs from my bag. If you are a tourist who is in the area, be sure to at least grab a dozen donuts. Tell me what made me think it was a good idea to stop here on my way back to Long Island. I have never put a more delicious doughnut in my mouth before, these were, sensational, divine, just sinful. What am I ordering? I don't know, so I asked the woman behind the counter. She told me to get their honey dipped, which is probably the last doughnut I would have gone for had I been left to my own devices. But like, if I'm getting one, I'm getting two and if I'm getting two, might as well get three. So I also ordered the blueberry fritter and a pumpkin spice. I walked out to my car and said, I'm just having a bite of each to experience this and that's it. I'm sorry but good GOD I have never. I have no words, the honey dipped are you kidding me!?!?! The fluffy, sweet, amazing texture, melt in your mouth, perfection. I've never had anything like it. The blueberry fritter, divine, pumpkin spice, incredible. I literally pulled over on my drive home to put the box in my trunk so I would stop taking bites. Anyways, all three were gone that night by me and only me and I have no regrets, everyone needs to experience this moment of utter bliss and joy.

Today was that day to finally visit because my wife and I had a plan to check out Scoop Deck ice cream for their fall flavors. Which this coffee trailer is located in the parking lot of Scoop Deck so this was our first stop. They just dropped their fall drinks that included a spiced apple chai, Morning Lark (maple syrup and brown sugar), Night Owl (think dirty chai with vanilla and cinnamon), Pumpkin Latch Latte, Apple Cider and a Chaider. My wife got their Night Owl and loved it while I got their Morning Lark and loved it as well. Both had a ton of flavor and were well made. They do make their own syrups and they definitely know what they are doing. Another big reason for this visit is my wife was in search of a new glass coffee cup with bamboo top and Lark had them so we got one of those too. Friendly service with a good size parking lot (I suspect it may get packed during peak summer though) who make delicious drinks to get you that kickstart to your day! Plenty of outdoor seating of their own and scoop deck to enjoy your drink with the nice weather too. A new favorite for coffee spots for us!
