We just picked up a beautiful ice cream cake with Oreo middle. They often have fundraisers for some of our sports teams and various organizations in York. I really feel good coming in and seeing smiling people behind the counters. You should try it if you are in the area.

If you're an ice cream fan, you have to try this place out. The main thing is that you'll know you won't be getting ice cream from a frozen bin from a distributor; you can tell they make their own.

I usually think of frozen yogurt as soft serve, like Red Mango or Pinkberry, so I was a little confused when it was served in scoops instead. We tried the strawberry and chocolate peanut butter flavors. To me, they tasted more like regular ice cream than frozen yogurt and were a bit sweeter than I expected. Overall, it was a decent stop for dessert, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Travel tip: If you're visiting Portsmouth, I'd recommend avoiding the Bow Street Parking Lot if possible. We paid $39.55 for about two hours, and extending our parking by another hour cost an additional $7.91. Instead, consider parking at the Hanover Parking Garage, which was only about $3 per hour and is still within walking distance of downtown. We definitely wished we had known that beforehand!
