Amazing chocolate pecan pie! I also bought their blueberry pie on a different occasion. Also very good. Now, diet time.

After a lovely boat tour, we decided to have ice cream for lunch. Hey, what happens on vacation…read more.. Cute shop, friendly staff, and WOW the ice cream choices! I had a hard time deciding, but finally settled on the Apple Crisp in a sugar cone, and it was scrumptious!! Real ice cream with premium ingredients. My husband Sea Salt Caramel, and I had to try it, too. Fabulous! Definitely coming back! Bonus: a little outdoor seating (couple tables) was an option we took advantage of.

After lunch we always look for something to cool down with, so we decided to make a stop in here after taking a short walk in the shopping area. "What's your popular flavor?" Which were Maine blueberry and a whoopie pie flavor (vanilla base with whoopie chunk pieces) both were good but the whoopie pie was a bit sweet for me. Those were the only two flavors that I tried since I didn't want to hold up a line and be indecisive, per usual lol, so I went with the strawberry cheesecake and the Maine blueberry. Both ice creams were really good and I'm glad the Employee put the blueberry on the bottom as "save the best for last" Both ice creams weren't overly sweet. The Blueberry had a balance natural blueberry taste without tasting too tarty. The strawberry Cheesecake had strawberry swirls AND also HUGE chunks of cheesecake pieces with the graham cracker crust which elevated the flavor! I wonder if they make their own cheesecake or use a cheesecake from a local bakery. you could get milkshakes, sundaes and add toppings to your ice cream. You can even buy coffee along with making a coffee milkshakes. Paid parking if you're visiting the area to walk the trail or shop. This place is a good addition for this area. I'm not familiar with the area but seems like this ice cream parlor is the only one in this neighborhood besides the one we saw near the light house. Definitely check them out! These are by far the best donuts I have ever had in my life. Unfortunately at the time of purchase,…read moreI had only gotten two donuts. It wasn't until I got to Crane Estate in Ipswich when I started chomping down on these fried delectables sent from heaven. Imaginary tears ran down my face as I picked out the last bit of crumbs from my bag. If you are a tourist who is in the area, be sure to at least grab a dozen donuts. Calories are temporary but memories of eating these amazing donuts will last you a lifetime.

Wait, not me eating three doughnuts in one day, because that is exactly what happened. I don't even…read moreeat doughnuts!!!! Tell me what made me think it was a good idea to stop here on my way back to Long Island. I have never put a more delicious doughnut in my mouth before, these were, sensational, divine, just sinful. What am I ordering? I don't know, so I asked the woman behind the counter. She told me to get their honey dipped, which is probably the last doughnut I would have gone for had I been left to my own devices. But like, if I'm getting one, I'm getting two and if I'm getting two, might as well get three. So I also ordered the blueberry fritter and a pumpkin spice. I walked out to my car and said, I'm just having a bite of each to experience this and that's it. I'm sorry but good GOD I have never. I have no words, the honey dipped are you kidding me!?!?! The fluffy, sweet, amazing texture, melt in your mouth, perfection. I've never had anything like it. The blueberry fritter, divine, pumpkin spice, incredible. I literally pulled over on my drive home to put the box in my trunk so I would stop taking bites. Anyways, all three were gone that night by me and only me and I have no regrets, everyone needs to experience this moment of utter bliss and joy.
