Sabrina's is a rare treat for my family. We travel a lot around New England and they hands down have some of the best food. Their buffalo chicken pizza is our go to, but their chicken fingers are awesome! We have made it a tradition to stop by before we go to Sandy Hill farm. The staff has always been very kind us as well!

    Toxic lettuce

I'm just going to start by saying this was the worst food / service I've ever received . Me and some friends ordered 2 pizzas and two salads which cost $63 . OUTRAGEOUS, the salad was pink which indicates toxic lettuce . The dressing was expired . And the pizza was burnt to a crisp and flavorless . Me and all my friends ended up with serious food poising . One friend had to go to the hospital due to the throwing up. When I called to let them know whoever I spoke to ( which I never got a name) was very unpleasant and rude . Saying we couldn't get our money back. I will post photos . Don't eat here.

    Plain cheese.

The service is completely lacking, absolute rudeness. The food wasn't much better. I went in to grab takeaway and wish I hadn't bothered.

They did not acknowledge my wife's birthday, though it was noted in the reservation. Here's the food: Arancini - good flavor, odd shape and breading, didn't come with sauce Calamari - slightly overcooked, not that tough but wasn't soft like fresh should be, but it was crispy Caesar salad - very good Side salmon - star of the show, delicious Kids butter pasta - it was fine, the pasta was a little over cooked Flank steak - cooked perfect. I'm not convinced it was flank steak just be the texture, it was leaner than expected but delicious - closer to strip steak. The cold potato salad is an odd choice. Carbonara Pizza - it's not carbonara, it's a breakfast pizza. MAYBE they used guanciale, but it was sliced thin like bacon with a few whole strips, not chunks like you'd expect carbonara. Also had chunks of mozz on it and a poached egg or too. I personally would have made a carbonara sauce as the base and then chunked guanciale on top. A little pepper and parsley to pull it together. Honestly disappointed, carbonara is a top dish for me. Dessert menu is lacking big time. The complementary soft serve gelato was good, not great. The place is fine, I wouldn't go back.

My SO went to the restroom and the bartender asked me if we were celebrating anything and I told her it was our 7 year anniversary, she mentioned bringing something out for us, unexpected but appreciated. Neither bartender checked in for about 30 minutes while we waited for our main course. Espresso rubbed duck was very flavorful and delicious. From the moment you walk into the historic, brick-walled dining room, you feel like you've been transported to a cozy grotto in Italy. The atmosphere is intimate and upscale, but still incredibly welcoming. Now, for the food: The Carbonara was absolutely authentic--perfectly creamy with just the right bite from the guanciale and sharp Pecorino. It's hard to find a carbonara this well-balanced outside of Rome. I also had the Filet, which was cooked to a flawless medium and was incredibly tender. You can tell they use top-tier cuts of meat. I finished the night with the Peach Sorbet, and it was the perfect refreshing end to the meal. It tasted like biting into a ripe, fresh peach--light, vibrant, and not overly sweet. The service was impeccable throughout the night. If you're looking for a spot for a special occasion or just want a truly world-class Italian meal, this is it. I'll definitely be back!"

Somehow the room felt nicer, cleaner and brighter. We dined with friends and started with cocktails which were very good. Our waiter brought out complimentary bread and oil, which we all enjoyed, and was replenished during our meal. The small Caesar salad was generous and easily enough for two. The meatball appetizer was also quite big, with 3 delicious meatballs and several pieces of garlic toast. We shared a Lasagna entree which was very good, and was more than enough for two people. In fact, we could not finish and brought home a small portion which I enjoyed for lunch. The menu offers both classic comfort Italian dishes, as well as pizza and more modern Italian fare. Our friends were pleased with Chicken Parm, again more than they could eat. We all felt prices were fair and reasonable given food prices these days. Further, unlike a few other spots in town, no unpleasant surprise surcharge for using a credit card. We were too fill to try dessert, but I expect they will be as good as those offered at other Buckley restaurants. That said, both the pappardelle and the ravioli were a bit heavy on the sauce. We were here for the pizza so were excited to try it - pizza unfortunately was just ok as well. Food is subjective and always based on preference so please take this review with a grain of salt - pizza was a bit doughier than I'd like - I prob should've asked for it to be well done if even possible and the sauce tasted heavy on the oregano - not something I'm a big fan of.
