Kendall Pond Pizza - House Special - Pizza Near Me - Dover, New Hampshire

Well, our first time in a long time, and probably the last We ordered pizza for delivery, expected time was an hour in which we got the order on time. Our issue is the delivery driver. We clearly stated the apartment entry code, and we also clearly stated to knock on door and leave at door on the receipt...that was ignored completely. This was ignored by the delivery driver who had the balls to tell us to "go pick it up next time" at the end of our call because we said we would tip later. Might as well order from Strafford House or La Festa read more

Just stopped in for a quick slice of pizza and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza is that good old fashioned pizza, not artsy fartsy. The dough was crispy on the bottom with a good chew. Perfect balance of crispy and chewy. Tried pepperoni (2 slices), cheese and meatball & onion. We will be back! read more

I just had my first Kendall Pond Pizza pizza, and I found my custom order to be so delectable, I wet my pants. I LITERALLY WET MY PANTS. Thank you, Beanie!!! read more

$8 delivery fee + $2 "web ordering fee" = WTF! Are you guys for real? This is absurd. $10 above the order before even tipping the driver. Great pizza, but give me a break. read more

Ordered takeout small steak n cheese sub & 20 piece bbq wings. Sub=awful. No cheese & meat yuck. No seasoning. Not sure it was real steak. Wings were mediocre. Doubt I'll return. read more

Decent pizza served from a somewhat nondescript building. Prices are a bit high, but not excessively so. But, I guess enough to notice. Service was decent and overall it was a positive experience. read more

Sometimes the place is good. Other times it's not. Today it was not. I ordered a large chicken Ellada sub toasted and this is what I got. A sub that was broken when I unwrapped it and "toasted" is an understatement. read more

Kendall Pond Pizza - two halves of a sandwich - Pizza Near Me - Dover, New Hampshire

Favorite pizza in town so far. The crust isn't too thin for my taste and comes with plenty of toppings. The sauce is tasty on both the pizza and pasta dishes. Love that they offer it by the slice on the days I need a quick lunch. The grilled chicken salad is great as well when I am looking for something on the lighter side. Staff has all been friendly and helpful. read more

As someone who just moved to the area we were on the hunt for great pizza. I am from the hudson area and frequented your others stores regularly in the past. I was amazed when we found you had a Dover location. All I can say is thank you cause no one elses pizza compares to your's up here always hot and fresh. Today we had an issue with online ordering which never happens. Must just be friday the 13th lol. But Ashley was amazing help us get our order completed and use the coupons given via email for online ordering only. She was an absolute delight to deal with. Thank you to the owner for having such a pleasant and helpful staff. We will be back again that is for sure!!! Jessica Thibault read more

Ordered on the phone and ask them please do not burn my pizza. I like to reheat it and I told them make it light to medium. It was delivered and the bacon was all burnt and even the driver agreed. I gave the driver a tip and called up Kendall Pond. Unbelievably rude woman that literally told me my pizza wasn't burnt and was so argumentative. Needless to say, nothing to eat that night and she hung up on me. I know the Covid has changed things but please ask your employees to respect people. Only giving 2 stars for some food is good read more

The pizza isn't the greatest but it hits the spot when you need it. I'm still trying to grow back the skin on the roof of my mouth, but happy it was fresh out if the oven. The staff are pleasant and attentive. My order was ready on time for pick up. Prices are average. read more

Really love their Grilled Chicken Greek salads! The chicken is so moist and delicious! Prices are a bit hirer than other typical sub/pizza shops but the quality and size of the portions is worth it. Also I love the order online capability as you can just repeat previous orders (we typically order 3-4 different items more frequently). The Grilled Chicken or Steak Tip dinner with rice pilaf and side salad (I substitute steamed broccoli in place of the salad) is delicious and lasts me 2 meals! The Loyalty program also is awesome. Every $100 I spend I get $10 off. So basically every 4th order I get the $10 off! Thanks Kendall Pond for keeping myself and my husband fed 3-4 nights a week! read more

Great burgers, greater pizza and awesome wings. Their customer service is great and the wait times for deliveries! Definitely recommend them if your looking just to chill over a good meal or you want to skip cooking one night. read more

I was there with my children about 30 minutes before they closed and at 7:55 they shut off the lights. We were almost done eating maybe another 5 minutes but I felt that was rude. We knew it was closing at 8:00. But to shut off the lights really??? They also turned on the cold air. We were a paying customer and were cognizant they were closing. May not go back. Too bad. read more

I will simply never understand what makes people choose La Festa pizza over Kendall Pond. KP's pizza is cheesier, tastier *and* cheaper. I'm writing this review because I was so looking forward to tonight's order of what would've been a large cheese and large house pizza, but alas, they were closed. Voicemail stated COVID protocol and extreme staff shortages. In no capacity am I upset about this. It does cause me to wonder what Dover would be like without this little gem of a place though, and that thought is dark. Real dark. I wish I could afford to work there, because I would if it meant keeping the place running. I love it that much. Whenever we have their pizza (or wings, or antipasto salad,) it always brings us joy. It's not as fancy as La Festa, but it is better, and I will die on that hill. Sending virtual hugs and good vibes to the business owners and employees. Keep your chins up and hope to see you soon! read more

Thank you for salvaging my dinner tonight! After being extremely disappointed by Suppas, I turned to Kendall Pond Pizza. They turned this frown upside down. The gyro dinner was delicious, fries were good for delivery fries, couldn't stop eating them. The Italian wings are pretty good, would have been a little better with some sauce, though that was my fault for not choosing one. Lastly, the grilled chicken kabob sub was very flavorful and filling. And all that for only $35, tip included!!!! Will definitely be ordering again to try some more menu items read more

Imagine a small specialty pizza for $12.99, then paying for a large pizza at $19.99 to get a gluten free crust. Order from Kendall Pond Pizza and that can be your reality. It's a given that gluten free products cost more and I fully anticipate paying more. $7 more? No thanks. The pizza was good, however at that price I can still get good gluten free pizza elsewhere. read more

I ordered a 2 topping pizza from the Hudson location and had trouble pulling the slices apart. The dough was like rubber and hard to chew. I didn't complain because I ate 2 slices and ended up throwing the rest away. I've been ordering from this location since they opened and am part of the rewards program. This was absolutely the worst pizza I ever ate from a pizza establishment. read more

as a long time customer, we greatly enjoyed their food. we ran into one issue, easy to fix, easy to respond to. after 3 communications concerning this, they FAILED to respond to any of them. sadly, their lack of response and customer service, lost a family of business. they may say "who cares". however, the "who cares" will mount up and they will close. we supported you through COVID and those hard times. their response is "too bad". read more

I have to select one star in order to write a review. Anyone who orders from this establishment be prepared to be treated extremely rude. It took over an hour for food to be delivered. When I called to order I was never given a delivery time just a as soon as possible. To my surprise it apparently takes over an hour to make and deliver 2 Gyro dinners, when you live 10 minutes away. Not to mention when delivered the food was cold. Nothing like soggy fries and onion rings. Yum! When I called to complain about the food being cold. I was told by the manger, which I completely doubt was to be true and who was also as rude as rude could be, they were very busy. Impression: they could care less. I was even called belligerent for voicing my dislike regarding the service I received. Their excuse again was that they were busy. BEWARE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FORM THE DOVER ESTABLISHMENT. read more

I'm going to tell you the story of the night I thought I was going to die. It is a drizzly Saturday night. My roommate, Jenna, and I were watching some Netflix. We had both gotten into the show, Sherlock, and had just started an episode when we decided to order a pizza. I am pretty strictly anti-Dominoes, so we opted to try Kendall Pond. We ordered a large mushroom pizza and a caesar salad and were told to expect about half an hour. They took down my phone number and we resumed the episode. Some context about my apartment: We live on the second floor of a three family home. The front door to the outside is always locked. You have to enter the front door, go up the stairs, and our door is on the left. Our living room couch is in direct view of the kitchen window. We have a fire escape that leads up to said window. Some context about this episode of Sherlock: "The Blind Banker." In the episode, a series of seemingly random, but connected, people end up dead. Different apartments and establishments were broken into with no sign of forced entry. Benedict Cumberbatch makes an observation that the killer basically scaled the side of buildings and slid inside. We were about an hour into the episode when Sherlock ended up fighting off an intruder who was still in a victim's apartment when he went to investigate. Naturally, we are very on edge. That is when we hear a loud knock and the kitchen window and nearly shit our pants. It is about 8:45 PM and dark, so all we see is an outline of a hooded figure outside our window. We jump up off the couch and scream a scream not unlike that of Kevin McCallister in Home Alone. This was how it was going to end. Our apartment backed up to one of Dover's less desirable neighborhoods, and I vowed in that moment to break my lease no matter the legal ramifications. Then, I saw it. The faint outline of a large pizza box in the hand of the hooded figure. It all became clear. I opened the kitchen window to retrieve the pizza from the boy on our fire escape. He insisted that the front door was locked, so he tried to find another entrance. He did not think to ring the bell, or call my cell phone, but instead demonstrated his dedication with a real-life demonstration of the Melissa Etheridge song, "Come To My Window." I came back inside to a wilted salad (a product of being rested on the pizza prior to window delivery), a lukewarm pizza, and heart palpitations unrelated to my fast food choices of the day. Needless to say, I'm warming up to the idea of Domino's. read more

There are plenty of good restaurants in Dover, this place has gone downhill. We have been ordering from here occasionally for years. We took our family there and ordered close to $89.48 worth of food and gave a $20 tip. My son ordered a gyro dinner with chicken. The order came out and it was not chicken. We explained and brought the sandwich back up to the register and were told they would speak with the cook about the mix up. He came back out and said the cook said there was nothing they could do. They would not do anything. He said if we want chicken, we could order a chicken wrap or something else on the menu. I would no longer recommend this restaurant. read more

I've been ordering from Kendall Pond pretty regularly for the past year or so. They definitely have a consistently good product. The pizza is really good. Salads are pretty good as well. read more

Finally got out of my La Festa rut and went to check out Kendall Pond. Not too bad, but there was way too much cheese on the pizza which made it pretty greasy. A lot cheaper than La Festa though. Dining room is nice and plenty of seating. It's a little odd to be in such a big restaurant that has huge windows that look out onto a parking lot. read more

I have to completely edit my review of this restaurant. When I first reviewed Kendall Pond, I wasn't a fan of their pizza but a great fan of their subs. Kendall Pond Pizza is the one place that My husband and I order from when we order out. We absolutely love it. The subs are very tasty and my husband loves their calzones (especially the meatball!) Their pizza still doesn't win me over only because my preference is a thick doughy crust and they're more of a thinner crunchier crust. but that's really not due to lack of talent. I also am very impressed with every employee that we've encountered, they've all been nice, respectful and catered to us when we've been in for lunch. They are wonderful. Lastly, their hours are great! they do not close early, and they have the option of ordering online whether you want to pick it up or get it delivered. This is convenience we do not get from every place that we dine. This is why we are so apt to go for Kendall Pond first, aside from their tasty food. :) I highly recommend a stop in or an online order from them. The Steak and Cheese is awesome!! read more

Recently ordered takeout from here, the food was really good and the customer service seemed great. My only complaint is that it was far too overpriced for what I got. (Which was a steak tip salad, there was about 4-5 small pieces of steak but no salad...) I would order from here again, because like I said it was good and they deliver, with no minimum $ amount.. I would just be more aware of portion sizes. read more

Dear Kendall Pond, The price of your food is much higher than it's quality. Tonight I ordered a chicken cutlet sub and received a chicken finger sub. For future, chicken fingers and a chicken cutlet are not one in the same. This sandwich cost me over $12, which I wouldn't mind paying if it was really good. Unmelted cheese on top of old and hard chicken tenders is a disappointing waste of money and calories. read more

Why this place would get low ratings is a mystery to me. Ashley and company make wonderful creations sold by the slice. The pizza is cheesy. The steak bomb is the best in Dover. (Riverbend is overpriced, understuffed, and all bread). They offer 20oz draft on Stoneface. Delivery is prompt and food is always hot. I make sure I introduce anyone I know to Kenadall Pond. They also have a loyalty program where you get ten bucks store credit for every hundred you spend! Check it out! read more

Their onion rings are amazingly delicious. Also their subs are pretty fantastic. Their dinners are really good too, they all come with a yummy salad. This is our go-to takeout place on nights we don't feel like cooking. They also deliver, which is fantastic. We are not a big fan of their pizza, but then again, we are not fans of deep dish or their crust style in general so we are a bit biased. Their buffalo chicken sandwich is AMAZING. It comes on a bulkie roll with lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, ranch... Really really tasty stuff. Give it a try!! So yummy. read more

Kendall Pond Pizza - For over $15 for this pizza there should be loads of toppings. Never going here again. - Pizza Near Me - Dover, New Hampshire

Very good food but when I tried to order delivery inhuman screeching noises kept coming from the phone...

Out of all the pizza places in downtown Dover, this place is the best!! I accidentally stumbled upon it one day and then brought my husband. We're hooked! I saw what someone wrote about the staff being inconsiderate "punks" to customers. We've never had that experience. They're also very conscientious about the pandemic and have taken appropriate measures for sanitizing and social distancing. Good job!! read more

Great "House of" style pizza and the subs are fantastic. We've been hitting this place up more and more since the pandemic started and love it. The online ordering system is easy to use and they offer many great discounts and coupons. My favorite: their Italian Sub. Toasted. read more

I don't know what happened to this place. I started going there around the time they were doing the Fenway Park mural and things were great. This was my go-to place. Food was good and these was always one guy there who ran a real tight ship. Over time, they changed the way they did pizza and it got greasy like every other pizza joint; maybe bought a different type of cheese, who knows. So nothing that really makes them stand out anymore. Going to try La Festa and see how that is. read more

Good pizza. They have solid deals and the subs are good too. The nice part is you can order via the internet and either get delivery or pick it up. Very convenient. They also have a good beer selection and the NFL football package!!! read more

Kendall Pond continues yo be the most consistently good food no matter which genre or price range in the city. Trust me. I have lived downtown for 6 years and have eaten out HUNDREDS of times. You never know what you are going to get with these other joints. Not true with Kendall. Always fresh hot and delicious. It is what it is. A New England style pizza "joint". Yum!!!! If you are lucky enough to have Rob on you are getting an extra treat. His food and service is BEYOND Dover. The small House pizza is world class.
