The staff are friendly and helpful. My one concern is that though the staff are wearing face coverings, not all shoppers are. It is MANDATED that all employees and patrons wear face coverings in the city of Fullerton. I was shopping today and tried to avoid a shopper who did not have a face covering. While in line to check out, he got behind me and let out a huge sneeze. That's all it takes - one careless person and several people are potentially infected with a highly infectious and deadly virus. Just breathing and talking spreads droplets from a person not covering their nose and mouth. On a different day while waiting in line, the person in front of me paying at the register pulled his mask down under his chin while paying and chatting with the cashier leaving behind droplets for me to have to be exposed to as they linger in the air for 8 minutes. The cashier should have told him he had to keep his face covered. As a business, you are responsible for ensuring the safety of your staff and shoppers. Please put clear and hard to miss signage outside of your store letting people know before they enter that it is mandated by the city that they must have a face covering before entering. You have everything you need in your store to make a sign. Please show you care and don't let people inside your store unless they are wearing a face covering. I've been here several times to get some items laminated for my business. Almost every occasion with the exception of once, I've been left waiting unattended with out being given a simple "Hold on just a moment sir, I'll be right with you." It's really not that hard. Just a little common courtesy goes a long way. I literally stood there for 10 mins, the associate made eye contact with me numerous times, and just looked away. Worst service ever.. What drives me nuts with any business no mater the service or product you provide is a lack of customer service. Worse still is staffing your business with people to provide it, but them having an apathetic nature. In my recent visit there were numerous employees around "looking busy", I had asked for help from one employee who said he needed to help another customer first, I watched him go around the corner. In addition to his lack of caring as to what I needed he also apparently is not smart enough to know the physics of sound. How do I know this? I could here him on the next isle over where he went talking to another employee about how he needs to stop doing jäger bombs because he blacks out...so I walked out. This review is for the printing department. After Staples in Brea told me they could not print my poster until the next day at 4PM, I called Office Depot. The Brea Staples has let me down before but you can read that in my review of them. The poster is for a convention and I needed it for tomorrow morning. Came in yesterday 7/8 to get over 1000 pages printed. Ashley B. Was the associate who helped me. I sent her several emails that included several pdf files for her to print. First off, she was extremely helpful from the get go, she explained how it looked on her end, verifying she had received all the files. Then she advised me, that she'd call me when the job was done so I can pick them up! Best part, when I came in to pick up my printed pages. She explained to me that I was eligible for a whole bunch of discounts based on the benefits card I have. She went thru all the savings, and I ended up saving over $100 in this transaction alone. Then she went on to explain all the other services Office Depot provides, which can make my life easier. She did all of this with a smile on her face and an amazing personality! I've been here 5 times to drop off UPS packages and I have nothing but terrible service. I dropped off a few packages today and discovered that a box I dropped off last week wasn't even picked up and it was terribly damaged. I'm SO appalled by this place. Will never come back again. I would give negative points if possible. This is what you will find at this location: The staff will tell you that you're overpaying for binding jobs. You have customers waiting while the staff is talking loudly with inappropriate language with each other. You will see some working employees asking (screaming) for help... Yes, they are on microphone. You will even see employees flirting with customers over the printer. At one time there were three employees cutting one business card order, then two of the three employees decided it was time for them to leave with one person handling three customers, but he really does not have any concern for your time so take a seat, you might get your job done. I feel bad for the manager that tried to tell me, after waiting for an hour that the equipment was not responding. I emailed the information around 3:00pm for a pick up at 5:30pm. They wanted me to wait additional 30 minutes in hopes the printer will work. For an establishment like OfficeDepot, you expect a consistent level of professional customer service and after the second major print issue, professional will be the last thing I associate with the OfficeDepot name. This all started with needing 4 pages printed so you are taking a huge risk using their printing center. read more

They couldn't resize a flyer to a full size page despite them being a store that specializes in office supplies. Also they have old and crappy tools for customers to use. The paper cutters are broken and ended up just bending all my flyers that I had just bought. Also they charge you an extra 20 cents just so the employee can click print when you can pay 20 cents less to click print yourself at the self serve station. Lady didn't mention this up charge until I had already ordered the prints from her. read more

I did not have a bad experience with employees or the printing department like other people that have reviewed this Office Depot. The problem I had is I am not a college student looking for supplies. I work in an office near by and this Office Depot is simply not tailored for professionals working in an office environment. I could not get surge protectors, they only had one brand of extension cords with limited sizes, the selection of desk organizers was laughable, and with my entire list of supplies I needed for my new office I only got about half the items I needed. Do not go to this Office Depot if you need more supplies than stationary or pens because that is the bulk of this Office Depot. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! Went in for same day business cards around 6:30pm last night. The manager (think his name is Daniel) couldn't find the template for in store business cards and called over another employee after wasting 30 minutes trying to figure it out. Employee starts on them, prints sample, but realizes they were not aligned correctly. As he tried fixing them, the store started to get busy so he said he's not going to be able to finish them today and had me fill out a form that asked for what time I needed them done by the next day. I said 2pm, no problem. Employee says they'll most likely be done much earlier and that they would shoot me a call as soon as they can be picked up. Fast forward to today and I call at 2pm after not hearing from them. Guess what?... They haven't even started on them and cant find where they saved them??!!!! UM?!!!!?? So they tell me they will now be done by 2:30, 2:45 MAX... It's 3:03 and they still haven't had them done.... The employee I spoke to just now named Albert said they just left a note saying that they had to be done by 2:45.. He said he has no idea why they keep putting it off and is going to make it his first priority and should be done by 3:30... WTF. How do I come in for same day service and end up having to wait way longer for something that shouldn't take more than an hour!!!!!!!!!!! What kills me is that it only 50 cards.. Really now??!!!! I often visit this store for my personal and professional needs and the staff is exceptional for the environment. My company held a recent event and I was charged with having some custom cards printed for an activity. Having no clue at all where to begin I first called and spoke to someone who helped me gain a general idea of what to do. I put off the assignment as long as I possibly could and I finally went into the store with what I had. I spent way too much time then was probably necessary talking to Astrid in the print department. I really have to hand it to her for keeping her cool with me. Had I been in her shoes there would've certainly been some eye rolls, and all kinds of huffs and puffs! Astrid was extremely helpful and patient and displayed model customer service! Given the fact that I didn't provide what she needed to give me the custom product that I was requesting, I had to make some changes to my document. I made the changes back at work and thought I'd give the poor people at Office Depot a break from me, Astrid in particular. I submitted my order online and selected store pick up which was super easy by the way, but ran into some complications. I called the customer service number provided and somehow poor Astrid got stuck with me again but this time over the phone. My order was finally submitted but of course I did it wrong so Astrid called me and let me know exactly what I needed to do to correct it. I'm pretty sure the corrections I made were still wrong but because she'd taken the time to help me and understand what I wanted, the finished product was perfect! Not only was I impressed by the ease of using Office Depots website, I was especially impressed with Astrid for understanding what it means to provide quality customer care. I had very simple printing needs, and they couldn't figure out a way to handle it. They have only the one way they'll accept a print job and any other media format is over their heads. Moreover, the print specialist was rude and complaining that it was time for his lunch. I literally said, "Ok. So my easy print job on regular paper with black and white ink is too much for you to handle." He said yes. And I left, totally empty handed. read more

This office depot is really friendly and it seems like they have an excellent selection of everything! I was looking for pens, paper, clip boards, and i also ended up getting a "high heel tape dispenser" lol. I got it as a random goofy gift for my GF and she loved it. Ashley, who I was told was the manager, (blonde 30s tattoos arm) made snarky remarks to me as other customers and I waited in line 4 people deep. I recently needed to print some booklets for my daughter's wedding, as a last minute job. Briana Torres at this Office Depot did an excellent job in helping me out. She was friendly, efficient, understood my predicament, and offered suggestions on the paper quality. Not only did she complete the job within a couple of hours on the same day I took it in, but she stapled and folded them, and also applied a coupon discount. The price was very reasonable compared to other printing places I had gone to prior to Office Depot. The booklets looked professionally printed My daughter and I were very happy! I never thought I'd write a bad review until my experience on 12/10 around 2:20PM at the printing station. Young girl with black hair and blonde ends barks at me to not use the computer self service that's around the desk. Why have it there if no one is allowed to use it? As I come around to meet her she reiterates not to use it. I think I understood the first time. As I have trouble sending my documents to my email she's helping everyone behind me with a much different attitude than the one she displayed to me. Finally she prints out my documents and sends me to the register without a second glance. I felt too awkward to ask for a stapler just based on the fact she gave off the vibe that she didn't want to be bothered. The amount of disrespectful and attitude I received today was unacceptable. I usually let things like this slide but the way she acted and her attitude compelled me to write this review. The only upside was the nice cashier who got me a stapler as she rang me up. read more

This Office Depot has been my go to since starting a small business in August of this year. From my first visit to my most recent visit last Thursday the customer service has been awesome! In August 2021 Eduardo Perez and another young man assisted me with the purchase of a laptop and a printer as well as setting up my laptop. They were able to answer all of my questions, they were polite, knowledgeable, and phoned me the following day as soon as the laptop was ready to be picked up. My most recent visit was last Thursday to order business cards, a banner, and postcards. A young lady with dark hair and glasses helped me on Wednesday afternoon and saved my order when I had to leave to pick kids up from school. She went over and above and assisted me while I was trying to design my business card. I really appreciated her expertise and patience. When I arrived to pick up where I left off the day before Jose was the only employee working at the printing counter and it was very busy. While I waited for him to assist me he efficiently and politely helped all of the customers ahead of me. When it was my turn he wasn't able to find the saved order from the day before but, he quickly figured out why, found the order and helped me while I finished up designing my business card. He was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and continued to help the constant and sometimes heavy flow of customers that morning. Thank you Eduardo, Jose, and the other young lady and man (I'm so sorry I can't remember your names ) for your amazing customer service!! I am a graduate student at CSUF, and I get most of my school products from this location. I thought the customer service was amazing. I was greeted by at least 2 people every single time I visited the place. The place is somewhat limited in space, so they might not have the Super Office Depot square footage and product selection, but I have not been disappointed thus far. The staff is knowledgable and in at least one occasion where I could have purchased a printer from Staples or a closer Office Depot, I made it a point to go visit them because they are so friendly & nice. read more

Came in looking for am item. The item was out of stock and I asked if they could check if they had a local store that had the item in stock. The employee quickly tells me the product is discontinued without even taking a moment to check his computer inventory. I drive down to the other store and sure enough they had the item and it was not discontinued. The guys here are lazy idiots. Don't waste your time. Can't wait until this place goes out of business.
