Our waitress immediately took our drink order and recommend the chowder fries so we ordered them and weren't disappointed. They were bomb, just delicious bursting with amazing flavors. I ordered the grilled salmon, it comes with a great mixed green salad, rice, and pita bread. There are very few fish places in the area, but this one is fantastic. I really enjoyed the variety of preparations and the prices are really reasonable. The ambience is very casual and the service is homely. You can get fried fish and chips, wraps, tacos, and grilled fish with rice. Came here on a Sunday late afternoon to take advantage of their raw oyster happy hour special, as well as other happy hour specials. Of these specials, the oysters definitely stand out. Their specials are for the blue points. For $2.20 an oyster, it's a good deal. We ordered 4 dozen oysters. Another very good HH special is the prawns with arugula salad. Plenty of fresh great tasting arugula lettuce. The grilled cheese sandwich was just okay. I'll likely skip that one the next time. We received stellar service from Michael, who was very warm and friendly. We had ordered plenty of food, and he was ready to oblige us. He did his best to make sure we were comfortable and got what we needed. The New England clam chowder was very good too. It was slightly too lukewarm for my taste, so I'll likely ask them to warm it up the next time. I like my soups very hot. When it came time for the desserts, we ordered the chocolate soufflé and the butter cake (I think). The soufflé was sub par, and the cake was just okay. Too sweet for my taste. Amazing original fish taco (fried)! They offer 3 different types of sauces but their creamy cilantro is the best IMO. The only thing is that they are a bit stingy with the sauce, but you always have the option of paying a little extra for more sauce. They do have Taco Tuesday deals where a fried/grilled fish or shrimp taco is $3 plus change each. Their crunchy shrimp and potato taco is also good. This taco has a hard shell with mashed potatoes and shrimp bits inside, topped with a slice of avocado and sauce of choice. Again, I always go with the creamy cilantro sauce yummmm Their best entree I think is their grilled shrimp wrap. It's basically a burrito with juicy shrimp, rice, salsa, and some creamy sauce. The sauce they recommended to pair with it really just put it all together so perfectly. Should have ordered a few of these instead. You can see right into the kitchen from the inside dining tables which is always nice. I believe they also have outdoor dining which can be a great option given the day and weather. Parking isn't usually a problem as there are many curbside and parking lot options. I got the fried shrimp wrap, as recommended by my cousin and was not disappointed. Wow, what an amazing Mexican seafood restaurant and sports bar! Why we haven't tried it until now? We came in on Friday early evening, place was pretty packed both indoor and outdoor. The indoor isn't big so it's good to watch sports on all TVs. Menu was surprisingly extensive with many good seafood choices. I had Modelo michelada, strawberry margarita and IPA which were all great. For food we had chips and salsa, grilled mahi mahi plate with fries, lobster ceviche, grilled shrimp taco and mahi mahi taco. I really liked the tomato habanero sauce. Lobster ceviche was fresh and tasty, I will try more lobster items next time. Everything was delicious in healthy portions. The service was so friendly and fast the entire time.
