Best place to get boba in Marin! WOW. My boyfriend and I decided to go this past Saturday after lunch in the area. After reading the Yelp reviews on this place, we found a parking lot nearby to park and walked over. There's a kiosk you can order from which is very straight forward. My boyfriend ordered an Oreo Brûlée milk tea w/ boba. I ordered the Mango Supreme less sugar, oat milk w/ coconut jelly, mini boba, & salted cheese foam. We got our orders fairly quickly. Less than 8 minute wait since it was raining and we came at around 2pm. We both really appreciated the fact that the drinks were not too sweet. They were both SO delicious. I tried the Oreo Brûlée & I love the fact that the tea takes over the flavor--the Oreo crumbles definitely enhance it. The Mango Supreme was correctly sweetened and toppings were 10/10! For how highly this place was rated, I was really hoping for better. My tea was bland and kind of watery (I got jasmine milk tea). The amount of boba seemed small, which also seemed to make the drink disappear faster, and the boba itself was on the hard/chewy side (like maybe it wasn't fresh). They also messed up my order initially, though they did fix it. Additionally, I had actually been hoping to order oolong milk tea, but they only had a peach-flavored oolong option. I feel like oolong is one of the staples of boba tea (though maybe that's just me). Overall, maybe they are good for the fun, sugary drinks, but I usually get simple milk tea without sugar, which needs good quality ingredients to taste good. HANDS DOWN 5/5 STARS IN MY BOOK! I just recently found out about this boba shop that's about 8 mins from my work so best believe I am here almost every single evening after my shift. Their location might be difficult to find, especially at night and if you're not familiar with the area, but they're located at the French Quarters. Not sure where the correct parking lot is, but there's a lot by I believe a gas station I park at to walk 1 min to this boba spot. Which is, btw, the cutest spot! It's just a kiosk and a order/pick up window! But you can't miss it once you're waking because they do put out signs on the side walk. Ordering on the kiosk is pretty simple. Their menu has a great variety! From smoothies, to teas, to ceremonial matcha! So far, no drink has brought a disappointment!!! I looooove their matcha drinks because the matcha just taste different compared to other places that use matcha. You can for sure taste the difference in freshness and quality of the matcha they use. So excited about this new location for Boba here in Marin! Initially I was a bit wary due to a lot of the "Gimmicky" flavors with lots of syrup but then I noticed they had Winter Melon! It's my all time favorite drink that usually only Gong Cha sells. I decided to give it a try! The location itself is located in downtown San Rafael. There is a nice parking lot in the back under the overpass with lots of parking but it is kind of dark and creepy. I didn't have any issues however. You can order either online or through their Kiosk which I didn't notice until after I ordered on my phone with their QR code. Wintermelon: I got it with milk foam on the top which is most similar to the Gong Cha drink and it was SO GOOD! Tasted very similar but for slightly cheaper and larger. Also got the Brown Sugar Tea boba which was also REALLY GOOD! Excellent brown sugar taste. This place is awesome. I ordered here for a big work order, like 19 drinks, and there were absolutely no issues. They got everything exactly correct, and had the drinks make within 30 minutes of ordering. They kept the drinks in a fridge so they all could stay iced/ blended. It took me waiting less than 5 minutes to get my drink. The drink is pretty pricey for large size, $7, though, but to me it's worth it. Parking is found next to Taqueria San Jose (Fourth Street, under the overpass) and enter through "The French Quarter". You should see a display or kiosk on the right side. There is no seating area nor inside atmosphere so it's mostly just a "to go" order. FYI though, this place is just a few months open. I'm really excited to finally have a good boba spot in San Rafael, near downtown. Stopped by today during their soft opening. I got Double Strawberry, and it was amazing, not to sweet nor to sour. The strawberry cheese mousse is light and pairs so well with the strawberry green tea. Definitely recommend their cheese mousse tho! I went here today and ordered the Thai tea with boba. It was so good. Probably one of the best I've had in Marin. The cups are so nice! They are thick, great texture, and feel luxurious for a take-out cup. The price is fair. They have a lot of really good options. Also there was a problem with my order when I ordered online and the man behind the counter (I didn't get his name) was so helpful and took care of me right away. I will definitely be coming here again. NOTE: The Parking lot is hard to find. You have to turn down a side street and if you miss it you have to go in circles because they are all one way streets.
