But because my kids wanted it and I didn't mind walking more after dinner we went over for this cold treat they make- I thought I was just getting a vanilla whatever- frozen treat. Then the girl said it comes with 3 free toppings. Okay- umm went with cacao sauce, strawberries and almonds. It was like a non dairy ice milk treat( not white) it's made of dates and.. well I took a picture. I didn't care cause I would assume they must be doing something important but in no universe have I in any customer service job not immediately APOLOGIZE and say "sorry for the wait" ... I actually was quite impressed with the balance and quality of ingredients here. I didn't feel the acai was overly sweet and i appreciate the fact the base has a pea protein blend. i ordered a custom acai protein with strawberries blueberries protein puffs chocolate drizzle and sea moss. The website / App has many glitches so ordering is often met with some surprises and/ or nightmares. I would not fault the staff as they are really good, as are the Products. I think from a Customer perspective, the Corporate Office really needs to support this location! People spend a lot of money here and it's a fabulous location! I think most glitches are Corp or not really about the staff, which is fixable. Corporate Office: get it together and support this location, fix glitches, get involved. First time having pressed juice and we came 5 minutes before they closed. Never been here before, so I asked the guy up front, Juan C, if he had to make it or if it was already pre-made. He gave the biggest attitude towards my sister and I. I asked because if he had to make the juice, then I wouldn't have bought anything, since it would've been a hassle for them, because they're closing soon. He asked us what we'd like and I told him it was our first time here and that we'd like some time to look at the menu. I felt pressured to order quickly so I didn't have enough time to look through everything before he gave us another attitude, asking us again what we'd like. They don't offer the 4 for $20 deal often, or 3 for $15, but when they do, I'm first in line! They have convenient parking up front to make your shopping easier. Super friendly staff. If you forget what you liked the last time you were here, they have you saved in the computer via phone #. You can also call ahead, they'll keep it in the fridge for you when ready for pick up. It's fast, convenient, and cleanse-worthy. I find drinking this stuff boring and bland, yet Pressed Juicery makes it exciting every time they offer this awesome deal, can't beat it! OK it wasn't dark yet and we were between rain days, but I was thirsty and the Pressed juicery was the only thing that was still open at the Marin County Mart that wasn't a restaurant. I got the prebottled Chocolate Banana protein drink. When I took my first taste, I thought is this chocolate or chalk-o-late? (This isn't a joke, by the way. I really thought that. And I wasn't laughing when I did.) When I took my second taste, I thought do I really wanna finish this? I was really thirsty so I took a third taste. That did it. I tossed the rest, more than half the bottle. Seven bucks down the drain. It was dreadful, although not one-star dreadful. And I was still thirsty. read more

I love PJs so much and the 1 star review is not about their quality of product but is instead about this specific location. It's been frustrating coming to this location since, like many have said, their store hours are not consistent. Since about a few months now, I've experienced the shop being closed even though the store hours reflected that it should have been opened. For context, I live 30 mins away and this is the closest location to me, so it's a bit of a drive for me. At first, I thought I had just bad luck and the store is just closed for me, but after reading the other reviews, it seems like I am not the only one. The first time I experienced the store closed was when I went around 6:30/7:00 and wanted to get a celebratory freeze in hour for finishing my first final. They were closed, with no sign indicating anything. I was there an hour/an hour before closing time and they were closed, which was disappointing, The second time I experience the store closed was when I was in the area and wanted a quick açaí bowl for breakfast and passed by around 10am. Even though they say they are opened at 9am, once again the store was closed. Thankfully, the farmers market was also happening, so I was able to get something to eat. I passed again at 10:30 and they were opened. The employee told me that the guy who was supposed to open never showed up. Finally, this last time, I went around 3:30pm and was like well it's not close to opening nor closing time, so the store should be open, right? Well I was wrong. They were once again closed. Love this place. They have amazing juices. I try to try something new everytime I go in and love every juice I've tried. They also have vegan ice cream and toppings. Glenda, super friendly, warm personality on probably the chilliest morning of the year so far, greeted me with a smile. She offered me samples of whatever I was interested in, which was the Spiced Almond and Roots3. Loved them both. Bought them both. I also walked away with the greens3 which was what brought me there. Spent $21. Damn good price for 3 delicious, fantastically healthy beverages for my early mornings. They answered my question, so I drove 45 minutes to find out the the answer was incorrect after not being asked if I needed help- because they make everyone sit outside and apparently don't check in people. Then proceeded to wait an ADDITIONAL 15 minutes until she rechecked on me.... not because she was checking on me, don't be silly. I fell in love with juicing right before I moved from Texas to California, and somehow thought it would be way easier to find a good place here- I was wrong. It's been difficult. Luckily, I've found Pressed, and we're moving nearby, so I'll be able to get my fix a lot easier pretty soon! I'm not really in Pressed's target audience: I'm a little overweight because I love food more than I love my daily runs. I don't do multiple-days-long cleanses, but I enjoy subbing a juice for a meal more than your average person. That being said, when I saw this location was a popup shop and in close proximity to a SoulCycle, I was pretty certain that prices would be overinflated, service would be aloof and unfriendly, and the product would possibly not be to my linking. I'm happy to say I wasn't right! For starters, juice quality is excellent. Fresh, organic, and cold pressed (hence the brand name!), the Roots 2 so far is my favorite- green enough that you know you're getting your veggies but with a subtle sweetness to keep it from tasting like mulch. Very much interested in their much-loved coconut-cinnamon concoction next time, the citrus I tried wasn't the best but I'm simply more into greens than citrus in general. Service was just okay. For a higher-end brand and product, in this particular area, I expected better, but then again, it's just a popup shop. The girl I worked with asked what I would like, grabbed it, got my digits and signed me up to track orders, and took my money. Frankly she seemed more interested in chatting with another woman (worker for another store nearby, it seemed) rather than helping me, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Liked the non-invasive loyalty program, will be going back and getting more next time now that I know what I like. Pricing is just okay- would be more comfortable with juices being a dollar less than they are, but what can you do. I have loved PJ since it opened here. The employee's have always been customer service oriented and very helpful. I decided to sign up again for VIP membership. My recent experience has not been great and I wonder, what is going on PJ? While the employee's were 'nice', you can tell the cleanliness of the business and overall attitude is not what it used to be. Also, twice I have tried to order the chocolate freeze and it has been 'out of order'. UM, maybe put a sign on the machine then? And, why not working for so long? It's hard to believe their freezes are so full of nutrition and yet they never fail to satisfy our sweet tooth desires.  An added plus is Alex, who is the ever friendly, helpful, nice, handsome customer service oriented staff person. Finding a juicery is the hardest. Complex flavors per the customers pallet, inventory, ability to taste, customer service and clean tasting (no dirt or fillers) and of course how long will it last after purchasing a cleanse over the course of several days. I will be upfront, I base my stars on: Flavors/Taste: Lots of flavor options with seasonal delicious tastes. Clean tasting. They have various levels of greens and roots for folks that are new to healthy juices all the way to super healthnut juices, this isn't my first rodeo on juices. I personally am a fan flavor wise of Liquidology in Sac and Can Can Cleanse in SF, but this is one step below. So it works when I can't get to my favorite places. Overall, they have good combinations and are definitely tastier than most. Option to taste: Love that they are helpful and most are knowledgeable. Plus, they give good size tasting. It's a nice mini shot paper cup size. They shake it before they serve and plenty enough to actually taste. I have visited another brand juicery that had a spoon for tasting. This place gets a bonus. Inventory: Well, I guess this is difficult to write about. They are often out of juices I really like which usually means they are popular. But it is frustrating. All in all, good place for pressed juice. Best when they offer their specials, very worth it!! The one in Beverly Hills has been my favorite of all the Pressed Juicery's, but each one is worth checking out. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise on my recent visit to the Marin Country Mart. I had just finished shopping at Bed, Bath & Beyond (don't laugh; it's what you do in the burbs!), and I needed a little pick-me-up. The only options available to me at 10am were Starbucks (I already had my morning espresso), Rustic Bakery (their pastries are too tempting), and this tiny little juice shack. So instead of feeding my inner-glutton, I decided to go the healthy route and swing by Pressed Juicery. It's a pretty straight-forward concept. You order from a long list of cold-pressed juices. This ain't Jamba Juice where they start blending away after you place your order. These juices have already been pressed and shelved in plastic 16 ounce containers. So the lines aren't long. You can pretty much pick out the juice you want, pay the cashier, and fly out the door in 2 minutes or less. I wound up ordering the Greens #3 (a healthy elixir made with kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, and ginger). It was actually quite tasty. Fortunately, the sweetness of the apple and lemon helped diffuse most of the "veggie-ness" of the drink. There's nothing worse than drinking a veggie-heavy drink that tastes more like salad dressing than juice. And for only $6.50, this beverage was quite a steal! I'm used to going to places like Juice Alley and dropping at least $10 bucks for a cold-pressed concoction. So all in all, I'd definitely come back here for my next juice-fix. read more

Super shi shi, somewhat spendy (despise that word but trying hard to alliterate), but surprisingly scrumptious. I had a juicer but gave it away because my juice tasted like gym socks and had a yucky froth. I don't often indulge in splurgy sips, but when I do I really enjoy them. The fancy equipment sure beats my old entry-level Breville. This cold-pressed stuff is tasty! I love the Roots 3 (beets, ginger, lemon, and apple), probably the sweetest one they offer, but I like the zing too. I probably made this combo countless times with my beater juicer, but it did not taste like this. Whether juices are a placebo or not, I still think they are tasty, and when you have a head cold which won't quit a little dram of optimism by way of juice doesn't hurt. read more

I went to pick it up the next day and waited 45 minutes to be given my order. I was the only person waiting. I tried calling the store and no one answered even though I could see the employee inside the store with the front door locked. She didn't even acknowledge my presence. Finally when she came to the door I told her my name and order and then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for her to grab it. No sense of urgency or care for the customers time.
