This location is within driving distance from our church so I normally take the kids here after they've behaved themselves for a nice, sweet treat! The first time we came wasn't too memorable because they didn't really know what they were doing since the place was still pretty new. Our most recent visit warranted a 5-star review. The young man who helped us was extremely helpful and friendly. I don't know his name, but you can see from the photo who he is when you visit this location. I like cookies, and they had a few options like chocolate fudge brownie, s'mores cookie, and peanut nutter cookie. Since I like peanut butter, I had to try the peanut nutter cookie. The cookie was not too sweet and tasted good, which I liked. However, at $4.50 for one cookie, it feels a bit expensive. Wow this place is so cute I Was craving Boba and decided to try this place out next to my house. Everything is decorated beautifully. There were signs to show you what they were offering, as well as a kiosk for some of the things that were not on the wall I was greeted by a young lady, who asked if I needed any assistance who offered a lot of choices and then when I couldn't decide gave me options and then directed me to what maybe I was looking for on the kiosk, which was perfect. I got to try new flavors and they even offered to make me my special drink I love when someone is willing to go above and beyond to replicate a flavor lol that I like to get at another place. definitely looking forward to coming back and trying some more new drinks. I forgot what I got lol but it was lime and green tea. With boba. I got 0 sugar and 0 ice. Super sour which some may not like but I did not mind. If I got sugar than it would probably be less sour. If I am in the area I definitely want to try other drinks. The boba is good quality. Staff is super nice. read more

I really don't leave bad reviews here often and it's a huge shame to me to have to do this, because it's a place I frequented often. But I just can't stand by and say nothing when my most recent trip to Teaspoon was anything but enjoyable. When I arrived to place an order, two of the workers behind the tea bar were in the middle of a loud argument. Something involving a guy who had dated one of the friend's of a female worker. Regardless of what the issue was, the female was yelling loudly, practically borderline screaming at the male employee until he snapped back. All while they were making drinks. When I received my order, the boba that I had paid extra for to be included in my drink was forgotten, because they were too busy arguing loudly rather than focusing on the customers. This behavior was extremely unprofessional. I get that these are mostly teenagers working there, but that was just extremely unacceptable, especially since it meant my drink order was messed up as a result. It also made what should've been a calming environment into one that felt hostile. Extremely disappointed. read more

Me and my friends came here for a sweet treat right before our finals and it was so good! I ordered the new banana matcha drink and it was delicious, I am particularly happy that it had real bananas in it and tasted very fresh! The inside of the store was very clean and decorated so nicely for Christmas! I love that they have little corner with different games, makes for a fun time to spend with friends! Excited to have a local Boba place! So far we have tried the ube, sesame, Thai tea, black sugar Assam, and lychee on lychee. Our favorites were the ube, Thai tea, and black sugar Assam, all delicious. The sesame was grainy and the lychee was one note (would get it with Boba or grass jelly next time). My first time at a Teaspoon. Franchises seem to be popping up all over the Bay Area. I spotted a couple teens sipping away and asked where it was located. The young employees were very friendly and cheerful. They have a pad where you can order your drinks but they only had 2 other customers in the store so he took my order at the register. I tried the Thai tea with boba and 1/2 and 1/2. It was OK but not enough Thai tea flavor to my liking. The boba balls were a bit squishy not firm but still chewy. Hubby ordered strawberry one with no bobas. He liked it. I still think some of the best milk tea bobas I've had were in Taiwan but they're known for their teas there. read more

Went in around 5:00-5:15 pm today and the service was unfortunately some of the rudest I've encountered. The staff seemed annoyed from the moment I walked up to order, barely acknowledged me and my house milk tea was made very wrong, it tasted like straight milk. I love Teaspoon's drinks when they're done right, but this location made the whole experience miserable. Hopefully just an off day, but I'll be hesitant to return to this specific store read more

You can order online, but not over the phone. Once inside the establishment, there is a kiosk where customers can self-order, or you can order at the register. There are multiple drinks in several categories, and all prices are easily outlined so you know exactly how much you're paying for additional toppings and ingredients. You can also customize the amount of sweetness and the amount of ice in the drink. You can't go wrong with the Black Sugar Assam (add lychee jelly) or the Thai Iced Tea. There's a little something for everyone, so you can go the tea route or you can go the fruit drink route. Service moves pretty quickly, and there are seating options indoors as well as outdoors. I stumbled upon this Teaspoon location before a recent trip to visit my parents.  It's tucked in the Town Center shopping center next to Pacific Catch and across from Il Forniao.  When you walk in, the take out counter is in front of you.  To order, walk right to either the cashier or the self-service kiosk.  The menu is also above the kiosk, which shows the many drinks Teaspoon offers.  My favorites are the Lychee on Lychee (lychee black tea with lychee jelly topping) and the Mango Funtime Smoothie, while my wife loves the Black Sugar Assam. This location is quite small, with only 3 tables inside (though there are several tables outside).  I did make the mistake of coming on a weekday afternoon right after school ended, so there were several young people having drinks with their friends, making for a bit of a wait for my drink as well as a loud atmosphere inside.  Just be prepared if you hit this after school rush. read more

Ordered black sugar asam with less ice. I picked it up, went outside and sat down. Took a sip and it didn't have any ice so makes me wonder if it was an old order. Went back in and asked when my order was made because there's no ice at all in it. The girl who was in the front seemed annoyed and rolled her eyes while saying "I'll make you a new one." When making the drink she was slamming things like she was mad. Then when she was done she just put the drink on the counter and didn't even say anything. She was the bigger girl there and had a dark orange sweater today. Her customer service was a 0. If you don't like your job, don't work there. I would understand if I was being rude about it but I wasn't. Anyways, I just took it that she's an unhappy person there. So no I wouldn't recommend this place due to customer service. Out of my 3 visits, 2 of them were satisfactory. On my third, my Grasshopper drink tasted like water with essence of cucumber - absolutely zero tea whatsoever. Boba in Marin is still progressing and it shows, but there's potential here if they could just get some more experienced boba baristas. Their staff seems sufficient in numbers, but they're quite slow on the delivery. I watched as a few of them had to confirm with each other on how to make the drinks. I should avoid ordering when they're busy, but I thought most of Marin would be in the city enjoying Fleet Week. Nope - they're all waiting for boba at Teaspoon in Corte Madera. $6.25 for flavored water is a bit steep in my book, but this place is still relatively new and although it hasn't prevented me from returning, I may have to strategize my ordering approach. For the owner of this spot, please don't ruin the franchise name and boba in general. Good, strong, flavorful tea is the foundation of these drinks, which was clearly lacking in mine. The boba newbies in this area may not know "the right way," but I'm pretty sure Teaspoon gave you all their secret recipes to follow. This location is in between Five Little Monkeys and Pacific Catch at Town Center. You definitely can't miss it! Growing up as an Asian/POC in Marin for 20 years, I am thrilled that we finally got a quality boba spot. Teaspoon is a well-known chain when I lived in the South Bay for college. Although Teaspoon doesn't compare to the other amazing boba spots in the South Bay, Teaspoon Corte Madera is by far the best boba spot in Marin! I no longer have to venture out to Sharetea in San Rafael (that constantly runs out of boba, yikes) or Kuma Cafe with insanely sweet drinks. I ordered the Grasshopper, which is always refreshing! We got catering through Teaspoon for a party of 150 people and everything from the initial request to the email exchanges to the pick up went so smoothly and everything was professionally and excellently executed. We ordered 4 tea travelers of Liquid Gold, 3 Creamy Jasmine, and 3 Assam Black tea - all 25% sweet. Each traveller came with a topping so we chose 5 honey boba, 3 egg pudding, and 2 strawberry heart jellies. We got our own ice on the side and they gave us everything else including straws, cups, and lids. The owner even gave us tips on how to serve the items so that it would be easy for guests and the proper way of storing everything (no putting boba in the fridge!). We ended up getting drink dispensers and pouring it all into them but the travelers were so high quality, that I would suggest skipping that step (it really was only for the aesthetic but the travelers are cute too). We also put some cute stickers on the cups to let people differentiate their drinks and to go along with the theme ($5 for like 100 stickers on Amazon). We even had some extra tea and toppings and we served then the next day at church and it allowed for another 30 people to be happily satisfied. The whole thing was a hit and we will definitely be doing this again when we have a special occasion to celebrate. Or even for some low-key get-togethers since it really is a good deal!! It probably came up to $1.50 a guest since, with ice, people had like 2 rounds each. They all had a blast. Thank you so much!! read more

Brand new to the town center is a much needed boba tea spot. I think it's the perfect location and has the opportunity to be very successful with how popular boba tea has become these days. I saw that there are other locations around the bay, but this was my first time trying it and I have since gone back for a second time before writing this review haha. I originally ordered a custom lychee jasmine tea, but couldn't taste the flavor or sweetness. I thought maybe it's just lychee, since I had never had it as the tea before, but it was lacking (I ordered regular sweetness - 75%). When I returned, I decided to go with one of their signatures thinking that they have a lot more experience making it so it would taste good. I got the Lady Bug and it was delicious! My girlfriend ordered the Guava Sunset the first time and then the Black Sugar Assam. She enjoyed both of them, but since they are very different, it's hard to compare. They have honey boba, and assortments of jelly and popping boba for toppings. They offer some baked goods as well, but I haven't tried those yet. The staff are local kids, which is nice to see and it's been busy the times I've gone. Do yourself a favor and download the app to order. The drinks will be ready when you get there and you earn points towards a free drink (not sure why, but I was told you cannot earn points when ordering in the store). Great Boba and service! Sad that the house creamer was not lactose free like they normally offer but was able to sub for oat milk with no problem. Loved that i was able to grab a drink and walk around the area shopping. Small plug for the shopping center, but trash cans are everywhere so nice you don't have to juggle garbage while shopping. Sitting in the the resturant across the way, I noticed this store with some many coming in and out. It was rather a distraction, so I needed to investigate. Inside is a new, clean ... tea shop? I was so excited to see that a Teaspoon was opening in Marin! I literally was complaining that we don't have enough Boba options here. I've heard a lot of good things about Teaspoon so I decided to give it a try. I've been here 3 times now so I think I have a decent sample size on the quality and service. I've always come within an hour of closing so there's never been any lines for me but I've heard from coworkers that sometimes around after school time there's huge lines from high school students. I've tried: 1. Taro Lover: SOOO GOOD! Had it twice and it was consistently good. Love the chunks of taro in it. It is a bit on the sweet side but not bad. Some placed make this tea WAY too sweet but this place is pretty good. 2. Creamy Jasmine 30% sweetness: Really good jasmine flavor. The boba with it is also really good and fresh and chewy. 3. Strawberry Matcha Royale: So I can't review this without comparing it to boba guys since it's pretty much their signature drink. I thought teaspoon was pretty comparable but its pretty expensive! To add oatmilk it's $1 so it ends up coming out to around $8 for a drink. Boba guys already comes with oatmilk so it's more fairly priced. Also it's not and strong matcha flavor as boba guys but still a good drink. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall, service has always been amazing and the employees know the different flavors well and are awesome at giving recommendations. I was really hoping for a great boba place in a convenient setting but instead I got a very lackluster excuse for something that wasn't tasty and supposed to have bobas in it which I definitely paid for but wasn't in my tea and a straw which couldn't puncture the plastic wrapped lid and ended up all over my pants with a purple stain, the floor and the outdoor chair that I was on. Somehow this didn't surprise me as when I got there, a bunch of (Marin, duh!) young workers were hanging out in front. All this for over too much money for the lack of value, but hay, its a chain. I stopped for a quick boba and I'm glad I did! I ordered the tried-and-true THAI TEA BOBA made with half and half & 50% ice. The employee was polite and efficient and they knew what they were doing. They offered different options for the "dairy" addition (oat milk, half and half,something else I can't remember...), which I have never had a boba place do (I loved this!). Checkout was fast and easy and they accepted Apple Pay along with the typical forms of payment. The tea was brewed, as opposed to powdered and it was pre-sweetened. This was probably the only thing I would have changed because I like being able to adjust the sweetness some days -but it wasn't overly sweet. They handed me the drink only a few minutes later. The boba itself was still warm, had a good consistency and wasn't overly sweet. To top it off, the boba straw was compostable (yes, it easily broke through the plastic on the first stab). Great menu selection and awesome addition to Marin. Love the boba texture and there are many topping choices. I got the Strawberry Colada with boba. It included strawberry jam which made it a bit sweeter than I would like and unfortunately, they said they could not adjust the sugar level. If you don't have a super sweet tooth, I recommend getting something else. I like how there's indoor and outdoor seating, too. read more
