Super disappointed with their customer service!!! Initially, we still had problems even when they came once every two months. They would have to come back and respray within two months guarantee. Therefore, they advised to come every month instead of every other month. They NEVER once told me about the price change only told me they should come due to the amount of spiders and ants we have. I initially thought whoa these guys truly care about their customers and are true to their words of "two months guarantee." Later, we found out that wasn't the case and we were charged. Originally, I was not upset about the misunderstanding and was still willing to use them in the future until Lucas, the owner made a comment to my husband on Yelp "yes the mistake I made was to have the conversation with your wife rather than you." Lucas & Andy are great. They were honest in assessing my issues & let me know that there probably wasn't an active rodent problem. But I was convinced there was an issue, so they went to work and did as I asked in my attic. Turns out, they were right - crows on my roof were causing such a ruckus that I totally thought I had critters in my attic. Contacted Lucas about doing my 6 month spray and they came out and did the outside, but we had an agreement that he would charge me the full amount but come back out in a month and do the inside because we just had a baby. They came out and unfortunately when I called them to come back and do the inside they charged me a $35 fee to come out. I reluctantly paid the fee, but unfortunately we still had problems weeks after they came out. I contacted Lucas and let him know and they came out again and charged me another $35 fee and guess what the bug problem still existed, but this was a about 45 days later. Called Lucas and spoke to him directly because they wanted to charge me $185 to come back out and I told them I refused to pay that. Lucas tried to upsell me on his yearly plan that I found to be ridiculous but was willing to do it but he did not want to credit me for the money I paid or pro rate me. Will never use this company again and I am very disappointed on how Lucas handled this matter. He lost not only my business he lost six customers that he doesn't know about. We live really close to the flood control and the park and we have fruit trees. This also means we have rats outside. In the twilight, I could see them skulk across the wires from yard to yard for their nightly buffet. As long as they were outside, my motto was "live and let live, buddy". That changed the second my husband saw what he THOUGHT was a house mouse in our bathroom early one morning. Then my dog caught (and ate most of) 3 in our yard. We had some ant and spider issues when we moved into our new home in Turtle Rock about 4 weeks ago. We hired Oceanfront Pest Control to treat the property. It's been 4 weeks and no sign of ants or spiders. Also, unlike some other services we contacted, we got a 2 hour appointment window and they showed up as promised. Other services would only confirm the day and then call you the evening before to tell you about what time they would be there ... not very convenient when you are juggling work and other commitments. Andy came out to help us with our ant problem, and he was totally great. He is a really nice person, and also really good at his job. At our request, he sprayed only the outside of the house, and said that he would come back (at no charge) anytime in the next 60 days if we saw more ants or decided we wanted the interior sprayed. I had initially planned on going with one of the more popular ant control places like Terminix. As I picked up their brochure and I started dialing something caught my attention - there's a disclaimer on the flier saying that by calling them or requesting a call back online that you are authorizing them or an approved partner of theirs to solicit you with additional phone calls even if you don't use their service. So basically if you want a quote you have to agree to allow them to tele-market you with other services even if you didn't use them. My wife had recommended Oceanfront Pest Control because she had read about them in other reviews. I was hesitant to use a smaller less known company but for more reason's than one I agreed to at least consider what my WIFE recommended. Low and behold she was right (seems to happen a lot). I set an appointment with their receptionist and then 5 minutes prior to our 4pm appointment time Lucas showed up. As mentioned by other Yelpers he was very friendly, reassuring and informative. No pressure at all. He filled me in a little on why he got into the business and how he hasn't wanted to expand beyond his family for fear that the service level will decline. We have a newborn and we stressed our concern with the chemicals to which he assured me that it was non-toxic after the 2 hour cool down period. I won't steal his thunder by telling you everything but in summary he was easy to work with, no pressure, provided an estimate, answered my questions and let me decide if I still wanted to use him. So we did. Lucas has a 2 month warranty so if the ants come back he'll come back and respray. Sadly we had a strong infestation and some ants came back. I called and left a voicemail and within 10 minutes I received a call back from Lucas saying they would come back out to respray. Set the appointment and just like the first time someone arrived right on time. This time it was Andy his brother. Andy was just as nice to work with as Lucas. He found out what was happening and then he took care of it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pest problem. read more

So far so good! We live near the Chino Hills State Park, & dealing with creatures outside has kinda become second nature. But, when I think they've invaded my home "Houston, we've got a problem!" So when my son wakes me up in the early hours of the morning to tell me he hears a noise, & I go investigate to find it sounded like he had construction workers above his room scratching at the floor of the attic. Can you say EWWWE! I called Oceanfront that morning after checking out Yelp reviews in dealing with rats. The 1st available was Thursday, it was Tuesday, I was a little bummed out but understood, & asked to call me back if there were any cancellations. Jessica called me back a little later that day & let me know there was a opening later in the afternoon. Yeah! The sooner the better. Lucas came out that afternoon & checked out the attic & placed traps, he did a quick survey of the property & the roof & said it didn't look like they were inside, but trying to get inside where our eaves met at the roof just above my sons room. He said I'd be getting a call to schedule a follow up appointment, Jessica called me first thing the next morning & Lucas was coming out the following morning. Recently had a service from oceanfront. I emailed them a picture and they identified the bug as a saw toothed weevil. They quickly scheduled a service and were very efficient. I'm not sure if the weevils are gone yet but I can tell you that Andy was very nice. I offered more money because I didn't move the light furniture as requested but he refused to accept the extra money. The price was good and the two month warranty makes me feel secure. I'm writing this review because ants are finally starting to show up again at our house. So I'm going to be calling Oceanfront to come out and spray again, as soon as I finish this review of their last service. The amazing part is how long their previous spraying lasted. I had to go back through our checkbook to find out the exact date when we had them come out. It was 09/16/2014, if you can believe it! It's now 06/29/2016, which means their previous spray lasted nearly 2 years!!! Back in 2014, when I found them on Yelp, I remember reading a number of reviews that said something similar to this -- namely, that they guaranteed no ants for 2 months, but that in reality the spraying would end up lasting much longer ... like a year or whatever. So those reviews got me pretty excited and hopeful, but I never imagined it would last for close to 2 years! Love it! Unfortunately, I've had 3 invasions in the last 5 days or so. I definitely recommend them if you have an ant problem. We moved into a new home and every summer the ants would come. It wasn't too bothersome initially, but one summer it became too much and I'm glad we found this company. Lucas came out and explained the process. We vacated the house for 2 hours while he sprayed the exterior and interior. We have hard wood cherry floors and there was no residue or smell on the areas when he sprayed. Prior to him coming out I had killed whatever ants I saw and after the treatment, there were NO MORE ANTS! The best part is that this was 2 years ago and we still don't have any issues with ants.
