Based on the previous Yelpers advice, I wanted to see how someone could hype up a laundromat and took the drive west from Vista. But honestly, she's right -- this place deserves all the praise it's getting. As soon as I told the attendant lady I'm new in town and I handed her the online coupon, she finished whatever business she had and immediately helped me. I registered an account (Rosa assured me that my info would not be shared or sold, and that they just use it for raffles/discounts throughout the year), and received a $5.00 card. She went the extra mile and showed me how to use the card, explained their point system to earn free loads, and gave me the micro tour of the place. Because it was also 20% off from 7A-5P T-Th, I basically did 4 loads of laundry (thanks to that first time customer coupon) for free! I started two of the double loads and had 27min worth of drying in the big dryers for just trying this place out! What's the catch? I didn't really see one past registering. Price wise, it's fair -- you pay a premium for the environment and the equipment. The regular sized dryer is $0.35 for 9min. $0.28 if you go during discount hours. Oh fine, I'll do the math (don't be upset if I'm off by a couple of cents): Normal price followed by (price during discount hours): [Washers] Single (top) loaders - $2.19 ($1.75) [The remaining are front loaders] Double loader - $2.29 ($1.83) Four loader - $4.08 ($3.26) Six loader - $5.89 ($4.71) Eight loader - $7.33 ($5.86) [Dryers] $0.28 regular dryer ($0.35) $0.42 large dryer ($0.53) I ended up loading $20 on my card for next time so I could capitalize on the $2 bonus for next week! :D Obviously, these guys take pride in their business and I'm proud to Yelp about them. Down to taking the photos for Yelp, even Rosa noticed and said, "Hey!" I thought I was getting in trouble... Her response: "If you're going to take pictures... The best laundromat I've ever been to. By far the cleanest. The staff are continuously wiping down the machines and keeping the whole place clean. Very professional. Tons of washers and dryers. I don't even remember seeing any machine that's out of order. Everything is well maintained and operational. Machines work twice as fast, cutting down washing and drying times in half. Extras: free wifi use, off-street parking and private lot parking in the back of the building. Cable tv. Use of laundry card to pay for machines. read more

Ok, so five stars for a laundry mat? Lets face it, we all hate doing laundry so to say I love being here is a stretch. Having said that I used to go to "Ghettomat" around the corner until this place opened up. As laundry mats go it IS really nice. It's always clean ans in a perpetual state of being cleaned. The machines have only screwed me once and they took immediate care of the issue. Employees are always doing something and that something has never included talking on a cell phone or smoking in the alley. Employees from more businesses should take a cue from these people. Nice place to do one of your least favorite chores! When we moved into the neighborhood last year, we found ourselves overwhelmed with all the coin laundry choices. My neighbors recommended a place right next to my house, but I was wary of the reviews I read online and didn't have any quarters. Instead, my husband and I went to Oceana Laundry. When we arrived, we went to the desk and asked for instructions and the owner/manager took her time explaining how everything worked. Basically, you're issued an Oceana card, load it, and use it to operate all of the machines. They have a vending machine with laundry essentials if you left yours at home -- although they'll cost you a pretty penny. Overall, if you desire a slightly more "upscale," high-tech public laundry experience, Oceana may be for you. While our experience was good, I will probably stick to our local coin laundry joint down the street only because of its location. Oceana is not stellar, but it's certainly better than most. read more

My boyfriend was told to get the clothes out of the dryer tonight when it was only 9:45 pm. there was 10 minutes left on the dryers. they said he had to remove the clothes cause they were closing. it's states they close at 10 pm. unacceptable. if your not open until 10 pm then dont state your hours as such. Horrible customer service. horrible. you can clearly see the time on the dryers so it was not as if he was lying. i was told this was the best laundry mat Togo to in coastal Oceanside clearly not. will never return. read more

I am handicapped and need a laundry service for washing and folding that is picked up and delivered to my door. I have been using them for over a year. Things have changed alot in the last few months. At first they were 5 star. Now I am very disappointed with their service. They always give a 9-1 drop off time. However one time it was after 6 before they showed up. This week was insane! I didn't get my clothes back on the day they were due so I called first thing in the morning and was told they would deliver a day later than scheduled! With no apology, no compensation. Finally got my laundry and opened it up and the awful smell of dry cleaning chemicals filled my apartment. All my bedding now is unusable due to the disgusting smell! This is my favorite laundromat. The staff is very helpful and nice, especially Oscar and Amanda. Even though driving out here is out of the way it is well worth it. New machines, and they even have a deal 20% off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7am-5pm. You just use their laundry card where you load cash in it. If you load $20 at a time cash you instantly get an additional $2 on your card for your laundry needs here. There is even a local raffle. There is also free WiFi, a few TVs on, and plenty of clean table space to fold your clothes. The sink and bathroom is always clean as well as the rest of the place. All the workers work hard to keep this place really nice. My only complaint would be that one of the 6 load washers does not work the one on the edge west of the laundromat. Even with that bad apple of course I recommend this place to everyone who lives around Oceanside or even if you are visiting for a bit, and happen to be in the area, still the best laundromat you can ever encounter. read more

Wow! With no laundry machines in our house currently, we've been doing laundry at a local laundromat. But with this Corona virus, we were and bit afraid to do that anymore. A little research and we found Oceana Laundry in downtown Oside. They pick up and deliver, and that's just awesome bc we can stay hunkered down. But oh no! We sent out 4 bags of laundry and only got back 3. Of course folded laundry doesn't take as much space coming back as bundled laundry going out, and we had set it aside for a few days before opening the plastic bags, so we didn't realize some was missing at first. But oh yes! John (one of the owners) apologized sincerely and did ultimately find aand deliver the missing batch. I am a realist who knows these kinds of things can happen from time to time (heck, I left one of my own loads once when doing it myself). Very happy with this business. read more

Excellent washers and dryers for a fair price!! Horrible staff, super rude and think "essential" means entitled. A very ignorant employee named Norma kicker my 2 year old daughter out of the laundromat and told me there are "Signs everywhere staying no kids". I asked Norma to show me ANY sign that stated "no kids" she just pointed to the laundromat in general and told me to read the signs. There are no signs stating no children. Of course I wouldn't voluntarily bring my toddler out with me during all of this, I am an ICU nurse, I well know the risks of this. However leaving her home alone is not an option. Honestly this is the cleanest laundromat I've been to. Also the least stuffy with fresh air coming in and out of the building. I love that they have a card system where you can load up a card and reload to pay for your services rather than using coins. I also feel like the washers and dryers they have there are better quality than most laundromats. Usually I wait over 2 hours for my big blanket to wash and dry and half the time it's still damp when I've run out of quarters. But here it took an hour. 20 minutes in the washer and about 30-35 minutes to dry. I am very pleased and will continue to bring my big blankets here to wash even though it's out of my way. read more

I'm forced to go do my laundry here for now due to transportation. Today I used a mid sized machine they have. They only take a laundry card that if you ever forget or lose. You'll have to buy a new one. Not sure of price but I'm guessing it's more than it should. Put my decent laundry detergent in the $6+ load machine. I noticed a minute or 2 after that no soap was bubbling up so I peeked in the top part that detergent / liquid softener goes. There was no detergent left so I don't know where it went. But, there was liquid softener sitting in the part where that supposed to be. Although I didn't add any softener. I told one of the girls working there that the machine seemed faulty an if I could get a different one. Right away I got an attitude. She looked in an saw the softner sitting stagnant in there. Accused me of using cheap detergent and said NO ! I can't get another machine till it's done and it won't be at their expense. Than she came out with a little Turkey bastor syringe and started sucking out the softner stuck in there. I don't know if it even was softner. I asked the other girl that seemed more in charge and she said to hit the stop button an I could use another machine. I had to buy more of there detergent and reload my clothes in another machine and re pay for my wash. Bad service :(. Atleast admit when something is wrong with your machine and a free wash would have been cool. Instead it just was a screwed up experience. They must get a lot of problems there to be so defensive against me as if I was trying to get something free or something. The rig raf that you gotta deal with every time is enough to not like going there. Wish I could have gave a good review here but, that's how it was. read more

Well, if you gotta do laundry in a location other than home, you might as well pick a nice place - Oceana is clean, and I love that they always have staff available for troubleshooting. They don't take cash or coins, you have to buy a reloadable laundry card. There is plenty of parking behind the laundromat, but I usually park right in front on the street. If you're doing laundry, ask one of the attendants for the wifi password, and then you get free WiFi too. read more

I need a laundry service because I am handicapped and can not walk well or carry heavy loads. So this seemed like a wonderful solution. The first few times every thing went well. My only problem was they didn't match my socks very well. This time when I used their service it did not meet any good customer service! I have my orders picked up and delivered. So I am aware of the 48 hour turnaround. So when I made the order for pick-up on Tuesday they confirmed I would get my order back on Thursday. Thursday come and no drop off. I expected a call or text with an explanation. I called them and they had no idea where my order was!! Next morning I called again and once again they had no records knowing what was being delivered Friday. So I just had to wait and see. The latest time it is supposed to to be delivered is 6pm.
