Good place, no hassles. I did a load here while our home washer was out of order. $2 for a small load, $4 for a large load, $1 for a box of soap. $0.25 for eight minutes on the dryer. Clean, not busy, and no weirdos hanging around while I was there Wednesday AM. read more

The machine does not work! Spend $6.25 and there was no water or soap!!! I tried reaching out to the number posted above the door to report a problem, but no response! Photos are attached. read more

Plaza Laundry - Great Friendly Service - Laundry Services Near Me - Oceanside, California

Clean facility with reasonable prices. Owner is super kind and really goes out of his way to make sure guests are taken care of.

I have no complaints. My only advice would be take money with you they do have a change machine but there's no way around here to get money I went to the half-price grocery store let me some snacks for the road and get cash back they'll give you up to 40 bucks shout out to the grocery store. read more

Plaza Laundry - Pic of front of laundry - Laundry Services Near Me - Oceanside, California

Prices are affordable, the only problem is the people who come here can't clean up after themselves. Leaving the dryer sheets in the dryer and even used tooth picks everywhere. So disgusting. I'm sure i'll find used needles next time. read more

We go here at least once a year to wash all of our heavy bedding and pillows blankets, etc. We have had good service, and the machines have been a good working order. The laundry mat is clean, the baskets are well taken care of, and there is pride in ownership. I recommend this place we have been coming here for probably 18 years. read more

I wish there was a better solution than charging customers money to use the restroom that doesn't even have a sink in there they were so cheap they took that out. Perhaps they had some problems with people abusing the restroom or something else but I wish they had tokens or management on site it's ridiculous that they charge people extra money to use the restroom and they're paying customers this is common in California though. You can clearly see blatant signs of mold damage hidden behind the baseboards black fuzz in the restroom and they duck taped some of it up to try to cover it up apparently because the adhesive glue has worn out it's a bit in shambles. Really wish the DEPT of Health or whoever is supposed to lookout for this type of thing would be a bit more vilifying or that there was a consumer tip line. Because many places seem very complacent and do not follow up even when I've tried to speak to management at various places. So not picking on the owners here. In fairness this is not just a problem with laundry mats. I've also seen pricey gyms that are very complacent and even Military Bases where I have contacted the medical services (Key West Florida) to try to convey how much of an issue this is with the dry sauna is and nobody has even been courteous or mindful enough to return my phone calls. Guess I'll have to reach out to someone a bit higher up to get this property addressed in a respectful manner. Aside from the mold and missing bathroom sink this place is fairly decent so 3 stars. They do have a sink in the main area otherwise I probably would have called the Health Department. Place that have no running water or not hot water for hand washing yet are charging the public for services need to check themselves in my opinion. read more

This place is great. I only came here so I could do multiple loads of blankets and towels. Found 2 big washers and was able 2 huge loads. The giant dryer was great but kept opening with the weight of the blankets. I only wish there was some kind of security here. A crazy lady stared screaming and saying vulgar remarks. It would have been nice if someone was here to handle it. I was a little on edge after her outburst. read more

Lovely owner, always greets with a smile, bottle of water and thanks you for coming in. Today one of the three washers I used was not running the proper temp. He came right over, and doubled my money back and apologized for my troubles. I luckily had room in another one and just added the hot water load to the warm/cold wash. No problem for me but he was gracious and courteous ad made sure I could do another wash or two. There are always washers and dryers available and it is always clean. Thank you Plaza Cleaners! Doing laundry is not fun task, but this place makes t bearable. read more

This place is a second home for tweekers and homeless people. I came in and this dude was litterally hanging out under the table charging his phone. Then his friend came in and hungout with him then felt with a roll or toilet paper he got from the bathroom. This one time a guy came in and went to the bathroom and was in there for 2 hours. The owner needs to get rid of the outlets so they won't have a place to charge there phones. And honestly close the bathroom where they shoot up. Please for the love of god take out the outlets and the bathroom. I'm over coming and seeing homeless people who arnt here to watch there clothes. read more

Yes all the positive reviews are correct, this place is one the best laundromats in the city. I had several large loads to do and the machines are HUGE 80lbs, great for doing big blankets or comforters. The laundry was very clean even the restroom, majority 98% of the washing and dryer machines were working, there is a coin changer and soap vending machine. The place was well lit with plenty of close parking in the rear of the building. If you you have a need to wash large or small loads and you don't want to waste time this is the place to go. The cost is reasonable for all sizes and vary depending on the settings selected. There is plenty of security cameras all-around and it's located in a safe, heavily traffic area with stores and a restraunt next door. The only thing that would make it better is to add some chairs to sit in, maybe a TV, or music playing while you wait. read more

I went to Plaza Laundry this morning to wash a couple of comforters. I found the facility to be clean and bright. There is a Starbucks and Wendy's nearby. They have a flat screen TV, change machines, soap vending machines, and a sign saying they have wifi, but I didn't use it. Sign on door says their hours are 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, last load at 9:00 pm. I will be sure to go back there when the need arises. read more

HEAR YE...HEAR YE. On Friday 08/30/13, I returned to Plaza Laundry and again found the facility to be clean, bright, functional, and very comfortable. Only a few machines were inoperable, but are being serviced at present. The large screen televisions were most enjoyable. Both washers & dryers did an excellent job. There seems to be a friendly atmosphere amongst all patrons, and the Owner is always helpful. Overall pleasant experience...recommending it to EVERYone! Now for the good news...soon there will be a Fluff-&Fold service also available. Yup, just haul your filthy laundry in, weigh it, pay a reasonable (by the pound) fee, and pick up your totally washed/dried/folded laundry later. Watch for it. Also, the Owner has just acquired a second coin laundry in Oceanside. (across Oceanside High School, behind the 99-cent store. Being remodeled and I'm positive we can expect another wonderful facility. Lastly...I've put a bug in Michael's ear, about turning the Plaza Laundry into a 24-hour facility. ( It is much cleaner than the only other 24-hour option ). If you would like to see this happen too, let him know. Posted it here, or put a note in his Refund/Comments box in-store. Again...outstanding coin laundry facility. Refer family...&...Tell a friend! Wendell W. read more

This place is horrible. The tvs are only in Spanish we are in America not Mexico. I will never come back here !!! The bathroom was disgusting smelled like poop. Just gross. And to top it off the wifi password would not work. read more

Awesome, humble, quiet..mostly Free wifi always a plus, tucked away in this shopping center it's actually cozy. read more

Don't be fooled by this place they have some of the most expensive prices for the basic wash. $3 for a small machine wash. However the issue is the quarter coins that you put into the machine ... half of them get rejected and you can have to keep experimenting with which coin will be accepted by their machines. The front door slams loudly every time somebody walks in. There's nothing updated or clean about this place, they are all older machines. Probably just throw on some fresh paint and call it an "update" read more

The new owner is really nice offered everyone in the place a bottle water. He helped clean up after a child who threw up and didn't get mad at all. He exchanged a man's loose change for quartets. It's in a good location, lots of parking space. Free WiFi and even though the TV is in Spanish there's other things in the area that you can do to pass the time. read more

Very clean, tons of machines & great location. Will definitely be coming back here often. read more

I usually come here to do my laundry. They are really good with cleaning this time there were homeless people littering and not only that when I arrived a homeless person was stealing the chairs that were meant for costumers to sit. Not only that the machine was not working. All bad. there were a group of homless people that were cutting it their hair. What?.? Going to look for a place somewhere else feel free for recommendations. read more

Horrible! This place is such a rip off I had to wash my loads twice at 5.00 each load. And there is no manager or worker there just a phone number. After dealing with their old washers and dryers I'm over it It's convenient for to me to go there but I'm done! Do NOT recommend! Plus the restrooms are all dirty and smelly and have graffiti all over read more

Owner is the nicest guy !! Thanked us for coming in, Gave us water bottles, gave me my quarters backs when one of the machines acted up. Never been so impressed by a laundromat! read more

Its just a laundry, so I'm not expecting much. However, 3 dryers are dead and have been since last time I did wash, over a week ago. There are only 3 chairs in this whole place. So if two families are there at once. Someone gotta stand for 2 hours, unless you're willing to trust 1 of the 20 bums hanging out around back to not steal your stuff.. Now that's my complaint. I hate being one of those cry baby people on yelp. I just know business owners pay attention to yelp. All and all its clean and well kept, there is never a wait to wash, an ok amount of HE washers, and the crappie change machine rarely breaks down. Oh and WiFi which explains why the random bums hang out around back. read more

Cheap,Clean, machines work and close to Starbucks and Wendy's. It's been the best laundromat I've been to ever. The dryers are awesome- only took $1.00 to dry my queen comforter. If ur in the area and need a laundry mat, use this one. read more

They have free wifi! The new owner is awesome and did a really great job of fixing this place up. All the machines are working and I've never had to wait for a machine. Very clean and kept up with. Came in this morning and the owner was here and gave me and another customer quarters just for being customers, pretty awesome if you ask me. Four different size of washing machines and tons of dryers that dry real quick. Don't know why I would ever go any where else. read more

Great, extra large machines that makes doing all bedding and comforters a breeze! Free wifi helps the time pass and they have tvs there too. It's always clean and I feel safe whenever I do my laundry at night. One time I had a question about a machine I hadn't used before so I called the number on the wall and the owner picked up immediately and was very helpful. I'll continue going back! read more

I would give this 5 stars for cleanliness and newer machines but the homeless people that hang out in the back ruins it. It's sad they have nowhere to go but when I'm paying to use this place and feel uncomfortable using the restroom that's a problem. read more

I just ignore everyone and do my laundry and get out. I've never been bothered with by homeless or had any problems. Under new ownership. Place seems more cleaned up and better maintained. Unfortunately the change machine was out of order today

All the positive YELP reviews led me here and I was not disappointed! Modest size laundromat, but clean and with plenty of room to navigate. Bring your dollar bills and quarters! I goofed and brought all sorts of coins, but the friendly employee went to her own car to get me a couple of quarters! Can't beat customer service like that!!! Thanks, Plaza Coin Laundry! read more

Under new management. Went there for my king spreads as they have one machine that can take 3 king comforters. Nice place. Clean and orderly. Places to eat near by. Very upset about this place !!! I'm at a high risk pregnancy and my husband has to do laundry now but with his work time is a little hard to find something open so I found this place and my husband is loading his washers and comes to the car to get one more basket and the lady that does the cleaning comes all the way to his car to tell him that he has to much clothes and that they clothes at 9:30pm ND he did the loading at 8:50pm and she also told him that he can do just the washing but not drawing. Why does it say here on yelp and on the door sign that the operation hours are from 6am to 10pm that she didn't even let my husband do the drawing ???? It would take 30 min to wash and 30 to dry !!!! read more
