Machines work great if they didn't steal your money. Some of the bigger machines don't lock correctly, if they open, it will restart and you would have to pay again. I brought this up to the attendant, and she said "No refunds". I told her I didn't want a refund, I just wanted the service I payed for. After going back n fourth with her for a bit, she finally started the machine and I got the service I payed for. (The last experience I was there a few months ago) Today, I came in for a Wash n Fold service. Same lady, Told her the 2 baskets I had were going to be 2 different transactions. ( Since I run a business and have my own laundry and business laundry). She started giving me trouble about them both being under the same phone number... Okay. Then I asked her if I can know my total before leaving, she said "No, not until after". Pretty sure they can weigh your clothes and give you total before you leave, as they do everywhere else. I had a frustrating experience at this laundromat today Sunday 2/15/26 at noon that reflects very poor customer service. After I had already paid and started my machine, I realized I had forgotten to put my detergent pods inside. I immediately asked the attendant if she could help me restart the machine so I could add them. She flatly refused and said she couldn't help. When I mentioned that a worker had helped me in a similar situation before using my laundromat card history, she claimed that would only be allowed if it were the first time. This response didn't make sense because she had no way of knowing my history as a customer, and this was my first interaction with her. It felt like she was making excuses rather than trying to help. What made the situation worse was that when I asked for a manager's contact information to clarify the policy or file a complaint, she refused to provide it. The facility is quite clean and has comfy seating, as well as two restrooms. I've never really seen it ever get busy, so I like how I don't have to wait to use any of the machines. It feels safe here, as I've left my headphones charging in the front, and nobody took them. I could also tell a difference in the way my clothes looked the first time I came here! I don't know if it was just me or not, but there was a strange chemical smell in the air on a Tuesday around 3 PM (maybe it was coming from Pep Boys or the restaurants nearby?). Had a frustrating experience at this laundromat. The dryer machine smelled REALLY bad, and I didn't realize it until my clothes were done. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they didn't seem to care or offer any help. I asked if I could get a refund for the dryer use, and they flat out said no. I then asked if they could at least put up a sign warning others about the smell, but they claimed the machine still 'works' and therefore couldn't put up a sign until it's taken out of service. Always come here and havent had any major issues... last wash is at 9:30pm so i came a little later than usual to wash, well i loaded my clothes and as it hits 9:28pm it wouldnt let me pay for the wash. I come down to OSide every month & decided to use Pearl. So impressive!! The owner showed me the ropes & I was good to go. The facility is very large with everything you want: laundry prpduct machines, restrooms, drinks & snacks, ample & comfortable seating, & phone chargers. I used the medium machine with sanitization & extra rinse. It took just 1 dry cycle to dry because the spin cycle is so effecient. For me, Pearl, is the best I've used in 10 years. An employee decided to argue with me when I showed her that the machine I was using still had soap when cycle completed. This one of the best laundromats we've ever used. The prices are great and the laundry card was easy to buy and load. The laundry attendants were super nice and helpful as well. It is very large with lots of seating and there is seating right in front of the laundromat where you can plug in your electronic devices. Restroom is extremely clean and there's even a little kids area with books to read, blocks, but puppets, dry erase board. Prices are very reasonable, bill splitter, purchase a reloadable card for .75 to use machines. It's registered to you in case it's lost or stolen and the company reloads a card for you and supplies a new card at no charge for replacement. Huge place with new washers. Driers typically take 16min to dry a load, (if you separate clothes and don't throw them all in one load!). I've never seen such a clean and well maintained laundromat. Can't say enough good things! This is one of the cleanest laundromats I've ever been too. I been coming here since they opened. The prices are affordable. The owner and the workers here are on top of everything. From the cleanliness, to keeping the washers and dryers clean, to keeping the vending machines stocked with both stuff for washing and snacks/drinks. They have a washing service as well. They have a kids zone for the kids. Lots of seating. And another thing that's pretty awesome about this place is how friendly everyone is, oh and can't forget about the huge slide up windows. The Owner wouldn't give me any assistance, not even the phone # for their card machine. It malfunctioned; It said I only had 99 cents on my card so I used my debit card to add $6.00 I know it said $6. then it said my balance was $73. some cents which didn't add up. It took $60 from my account. I've confirmed with Card concepts it is totally under the sites control. I know he can do all kinds of things, transfers & all in that machine and It has Pearl Laundry right on it but he refused me any help. Such an amazing laundromat. I'm not a fan of caring coins around and I noticed this one uses like a refillable gift card. I've used those in the past and hated I had to go to the bank and pull out cash before getting there. However this place had it all. You can refill with cash or card. Didn't want to use your card? I have used this laundromat twice now and I really love their setup. If you buy a card and load it with $20 you get a bonus $ amount too. Their rates are reasonable for all sizes of machines and the number of machines to choose from are plentiful. Their front entrance rolls up like garage doors so you get fresh air while doing laundry. I'll start with the pros of this laundromat: Nice, new machines that clean efficiently and dry faster than other laundromats that I've been too. They use a card that you reload with either a debit card or cash, which is nice so you don't have to worry about having enough cash for quarters. To use the restroom is free, you just put your laundry card in to open the door. If you re-load $20 on your card they put an extra $5 on it which is really nice. Cons: Bring your own laundry detergent or go next door to Dollar Tree because the vending machines with laundry detergent is very over priced. Better watch your stuff 24/7 (use the restroom before or after you're done doing laundry) or else these ladies who come in with a ton of laundry will move your laundry cart and your basket and put all of their stuff there. I literally caught a lady moving all of my stuff off the counter and put her stuff there! People are just rude and inconsiderate and will let their kids run around or climbing all over the couches where you sit to wait for your laundry. The top of the washing machines are dusty but I do see employees sweeping the floors often. read more
