I have been coming here for well over a year and I spend about 40-60 dollars everytime. Washing everything I own. The little Mexican lady with glasses is so unbelievably rude that I will never come back again. I was trying to fold all of my clothes and pack them up so they wouldn't wrinkle and I needed 5 extra minutes before they closed. I asked her and even offered to compensate her for her time. She was so unbelievably rude about it that I will never come here again and give a penny to this place. Neither will my friends or family. Unbelievably horrific customer service, attitude, and professionalism from the short Mexican lady with glasses. Never coming back. read more

Super customer service. Our cat vomited on our comforter. It is too large for our washer and dryer so we called and they said to bring it over and they laundered it for us. Was ready next day. Looks like brand new! Price was very reasonable too. We will be back! Highly recommend. read more

The lady working told me I wasn't able to exchange cash for quarters if I wasn't washing my clothes there, my apartment is on the block and it's easier than going to the Vons to buy something just to get quarters. The laundromat is clean, the equipment is well maintained. However, the fire lane is constantly blocked by people using it as a parking space. As a customer I'm tired of walking around vehicles illegally parked to enter the business. The owners permit the violation of the no parking in the fire lane, and encourage it. The police need to start writing tickets. read more

Clean and really well run. We use the laundry part of the business and love it. We had our washing machine go down (yes, fun to have an 18 year old put EVERYTHING she owns in one load) and needed a solution and Launderland was it. Drop off your basket of dirty clothes and presto it's done a few hours later. Easy in and easy out. Folded and sparkly clean. Easy parking and right off the freeway so super easy location to find. Very, very clean. Cute. Cozy. Easy to utilize. It is a coin laundry. They do have a coin dispenser where you can put say your $5 or $10 bills and convert them to a slew of quarters. I love that they had varied sizes of washers where you could do 1 load, 3 loads at a time etc. Also, I enjoyed the fact that with the dryer you decide how many minutes to pay for based on how many quarters you part with. You're typical laundromat (aka coin operated wash & dry). Located off Tamarack in the Von's shopping center, ample parking. They've got 3 different sized washers, ranging from $2 to $3.25. Standard laundromat dryers, I think a quarter gives you 8 minutes. I've got coin operated machines at my apartment, but it's cheaper to do laundry here. Also, when I have a lot of clothes, I can do more than 2 loads at once, since my apt complex only has 2 washers and 2 dryers. Dryers dry pretty fast as well, all my clothes were dry after 24 minutes! Very affordable, clean and easy to use. The cheapest washer is $2.50 and the soap is about $1. Compared to the past places I have felt with, where the machines are $5, I think it's very well priced. Additionally when I came in I was welcomed and the employee was very nice and helped me find the cheapest machines since I only have 4 ideas. Lastly I would come back here it's one of the best laundry mats I have been to, and is just a brisk walk from a Starbucks. read more

I rarely write reviews. However, my experience with fluff and fold service at Launderland was so awful it has prompted me to write one. I walked in looking for an attendant and could not find one. I walked around confused and asked other people if they had seen one. I was about to leave and the woman sitting down folding laundry from her chair finally asked if I needed help. I requested baby friendly laundry detergent for my children's laundry. They don't offer that. She referred me to Vons next door. I had no problem with that. I walked over and bought some baby friendly sensitive laundry detergent. I also bought some Gain orange blossom for my own clothes. Neither detergents were used. My children's clothes smelled very fragrant and doesn't smell like either detergents that I purchased. My own clothes had no detergent smell at all and in fact still had baby spit-up on some dresses. Gross!!!! I paid $60 bucks for this? I am thankful that my kids haven't had any skin irritations. They don't typically have sensitive skin, I just don't want to take the chance with overly perfumed detergent. Anyways, definitely not going back. I really don't recommend for fluff and fold or if you have children's clothes with specific instructions. read more

Now this is a good laundromat. Clean, well lit and has fluff & fold service if you'd rather not do it. 5 sizes of washers, 2 sizes of dryers and all Speed Queen equipment! They've got good vending machines: Cold Drinks-9 different canned types; Snacks, which is half empty and laundry supplies with a good variety, even laundry bags. There's gum ball machines for the kids. Clean folding tables made of some sturdy composite material that's attractive. Good supply of laundry carts and some seating. It's not the biggest but one of the best I've been to. It's in a shopping center with a Von's and a Rite Aid, that's convenient. My only knock is the change machine doesn't accept $20 bills. Almost forgot to mention the little sink and paper towel dispenser for washing up. Oh yes, and a pay toileI'm on a long road trip and can only dream of a place like this every time I need to wash my clothes. read more

My experience here was so much better than another laundromat I tried out. They have quarter machines and they also have a couple of washers that are energy efficient that cost less to use but you need to read the instructions first to make sure it can handle your clothes. Their dryer is 25cents for 8 minutes which is cheaper than the last place I went. What made me happy is the fact that I was able to put more quarters in to dry. The last place I went, you had to swipe a card(which you pay fir AND have to out a min. Of $5 each time you want to put funds in ) So thankful I found this place on yelp! Also the man working there was really helpful! The only reason I gave 4 stars is that it is a tad smaller in size and I can see it being super crowded on weekends. There is def. not enough room to sit and wait for clothes and they do not gave the Gigantic 8 load washer. But fir the convenience of not having to pay for a laundry card and for being able to set dryer for the time you want it is wirth it to come here!! read more

I went to this laundry place away from my usual place I go to in PB as it is closer to my boyfriends house. They called me two hours before the actual time my clothes were to be done, which I found I guess true to their "2 min drop" "2 min pick up". Once I got home to put away my clothes more than half of my clothing was still damp and not dried. My clothes were folded however still wrinkled which indicates my clothes were not fully dried! I have tried calling the store but no one has answered. Very upset! read more

Decent place to do your wash, nothing special, although I did notice that all machines seemed to be in working order, which is not always the case in more than a few laundermats I have visited in the past. I went there mid-day and while it was pretty busy, I had no problems getting two washers and two dryers. Been here twice so far and both times the facility and washers and dryers appeared very clean. It's a coin operated facility, so no need to buy a card to load like some of the other laundry mats I've been to. Employees working on both visits were very nice and looked hard at work cleaning the machines. The curb in front of the store is designated for loading and unloading which is very helpful and this place is conveniently located 3 doors down from Leucadia pizza, in case you need to grab a bite while doing some laundry. read more

Launderland is a great place to wash your large comforters, sleeping bags and oversized blankets. They have some HUGE machines. I used the largest ones and I was able to get several comforters into one washing machine. They are also open long hours, I think it closes at 10 PM. I have always been here during weekdays, so it is not very crowded. There is a coin change machine and a coin snack machine. I also saw a sign for a special service where you can drop off your laundry and they do it for you. It is also close to the beach, so you can place your clothes in the machines, then drive to Tamarack beach or the Carlsbad seawall for a 30 minute walk, then come back put them in the dryer and go back for another walk. I do not understand why some people just hang around waiting for the clothes.... but I digress. There is also lots of free parking in the lot and if you forget your soap, you can buy it at the Vons next door. read more

I can almost see the obsessively clean land baron counting his quarters from last night's "take" of dirty customers. Yes...from the comfort of his ultra clean LAUNDERLAND he got richer and more powerful while peasants toiled all day in the field; trying desperately to earn more quarters to keep their NEVER ENDING laundry clean. The profits made from years of stains helped the baron acquire great riches. Soon he (let's call him Scrooge McSuck-It) had more property and possessions than anyone in Dirtball-Ville. Legend says he owed EVERYTHING as far as the eye can see... OK, I have a lot of time to kill while my blankets are drying. You'd come up with something like this too if you stared blankly at a wall for 40 minutes. This location has a ton of standard washers, a few 5 - 6+ load washers (around $5.25/load) and a small army of Speed Queen dryers @ .25 for 8-10 minutes. A folding station makes things easier but I'd bite the bullet and wash here Saturday as Sunday is a zoo. I also enjoy the obscene amount of clear tape used to showcase the prizes one can acquire from the quarter toy machine. Honestly...that alone is worth a quick visit. If you'd rather skip laundry day altogether they have a drop off fluff and fold service but personally I think it's more fun to take this opportunity to day dream a little. It depends on who is working. Oley was not willing to clean. The other lady is super nice and keeps the place very clean. The floors and inside the washer today were gross so I had to clean them myself before use. When I asked Oley to clean she responded by, "did you ask the people using them before you?" She went and wiped the inside of two washers only and walked away to continue washing someone else's stuff. If there is laundry to do for someone else then there should be two women here. Missing the other lady that actually speaks English too. Price is good compared to Carlsbad village location and Encinitas blvd. This is our go to place. read more

Most machines are working, attentive staff and very busy (there is a nearby hotel using the place due to their own issues). Clean, paid bathrooms, small tight, very tight, spaces to move around but all the amenities needed to wash and dry your clothes. Needs outdoor benches to help with congestion. read more

So the only time that you head to the laundry mat is when you have neglected your laundry WAYYYYYYY TOOOOOOO LOOOOOONG! I am admitting on Yelp, YEP, that was me!!!! Six loads of laundry.......hey, I have been a busy girl - I had plenty of clean panties to last me for a while. And if I didn't, it was an excuse to go to Victoria Secret for some fancy new ones....ooops, TMI... My thoughts of doing laundry at in a public location isn't very high. Come to think of it, it is kinda gross. You don't know who's funky nasty underware was in that washer bin before you. And the possible company that you will keep for at least the next hour or so that it takes may be questionable at best, at least from a girls point of view. But one has to do what one has to do to get the laundry over with in the shortest amount of time. Launderland is in a decent, small unassuming strip mall off of Tamarack, way up there in Carlsbad. It seems to be one of the few in Carlsbad. I guess they assume that most people have washers and dryers in Carlsbad....but what is one to do if you got a giagantic comforter that needs to be washed? You head to Launderland..... By comparisons to laundry mats, this one isn't too bad. It is kinda small but to do laundry on a Sunday, I thought that it would be more crowded. People there were polite and gave you the gracious nod as you scoot your laundry cart around. It seemed pretty clean and all the machines were working ( which is always pleasant to know that some one really takes care of the machines). The washing machines didn't eat my clothes and the dryer didn't suck my socks in the black hole where socks go to - I was pleased with that. It was also cool to have a Vons next door since I forgot to bring dryer sheets. Hell if I was paying 2 bucks for a couple barely fragrant dryer sheets in the dispenser. Just be prepared with the old money since the change machine doesn't like the new 5 dollar bills. And with the leftover quarters, you can play Bubble Bobble on the video game machine!! It was either that or watch soccer in Spanish and my Spanish sucks... Needless to say, I got my laundry done lickety split, got to play a little bit and had plenty of elbow room to fold all of those clothes.
