I am certified scuba instructor. I spent $4,500 on an Aqua Lung Fusion Bullet drysuit,…read moreundergarments and protective shell in March 2023. I hadn't used it until November 27th to test in pool for drysuit instructor class. After my pool session the feet were full of water. I tested the suit again on December 3rd and the feet were full of water again. I tried calling the Aqualung customer service number 5 times and spent hours on hold. Then I used the dive shop selection from the automated line and they told me I needed to go through the dive shop. I have filed a warranty claim through the dive shop and Aqua Lung hast not responded. It has been months of trying to engage with Aqua Lung. It feels like the company is waiting for the warranty to expire. I will never recommend Aqua Lung to my scuba diving students.

I had called ahead to make sure (because not all dive shops are treated equal) and they confirmed they did. When I entered I realized that this was definitely a full service scuba center, not just a shop with a few items here and there; they had a full selection of gear, a large pool and learning center, a very nice large changing room, etc etc., basically everything you could ask for from a dive shop/center. I decided it was most likely safer to get the battery changed. I found Beach Cities Scuba in Dana Point, CA and took the computer there. The technician came to me to tell me that a screw had snapped off. Eventually, I was in touch with Scuba Center Temecula. After explaining the situation, and them verifying it, they decided to replace my dive computer. The screw snapping off could have happened to anybody. It just so happened at one of their dive shops. The amazing thing is they stepped up and did the right thing. It is refreshing to know there are still companies out there with integrity. I am now a loyal fan.

I had the incredible opportunity to take part in the DOD SkillBridge program, training under Lonnie and Malcolm while learning the NAUI way. Both are not only exceptional divers, but also outstanding mentors and genuinely great men. It was a privilege to work alongside them, and I highly recommend taking the time to get to know them and hear their stories--every moment is well worth it. At the end of our internship, another former Navy divemaster and I took a dive trip to Australia to celebrate the close of our military careers and to honor everything we learned through our time with San Diego Divers. The experience left a lasting impact, both professionally and personally.

I live in San Diego and have always wanted to take up snorkeling but had frustrating experiences…read morewith cheap/rented masks in the past so I did some research to find something better. I found a mask/snorkel set that I thought I wanted online and Lost Winds was the only nearby place that had it available for pickup so I decided to make the hour long drive. When I got there, I received the most amazing customer service from Eric who I later realized was the owner. He had me make sure the mask fit but let me know he would've suggested another one for me based on my needs. He took the time to let me try something else and explained in detail why he made the suggestions he did. He was happy to refund my original online order and exchange it for his suggestions (not an upsell, they were roughly the same price). He also offered a mask treatment for $10 and I wound up picking up a case and anti-fog spray as well. He did suggest fins but wasn't pushy at all when I said I'd save those for another day. I was so impressed with the level of knowledge, attentiveness, and customer service at Lost Winds. Eric thanked me repeatedly for the support and even suggested a nearby beach where I could try out my new gear. I went directly there for an awesome snorkeling experience with zero fogging, amazing clarity, and easy breathing. I ended up with the Cressi ZS1 Mask and a Riffe Stable Snorkel. Maybe I'll get into some real diving next and if I do I'll be back for more gear. If you want to be sure you're getting the best customer experience and expertise, I'd say this place was more than worth the drive for me.

They essentially just stole that money and proved multiple people in that store do not care about your safety.
