The area looked picked over, a bit of disarray. But staff on the floor were busy and I must say very friendly. The young floor staff were quick to check on you if you needed anything or had questions. When we asked a question, they were quick to answer with enthusiasm. For the most part the store is clean and organized. I still find some of the merchandise to be on the upper end if you were to do comparison shopping. But, it looked like they had some good deals. We made it to the counter with our purchase with the employees checking you out, the goal being to move the line along. I don't think that would hinder us from returning.

So I came to their Dick's Sporting Goods location to buy some new dumbbells. A former "friend" borrowed my set of 30 lb ones and never returned them. I walked in and was greeted by the checkout staff. This location is HUGE and stocked with premium brands and sporting equipment! I asked one of the floor staff where the dumbbells are and she directed me to them. They seriously have a brilliant selection of strength training équipement but, alas, they were out of stock of their 30 lb dumbbells! Then the awesome Manager On Duty came up and I asked him if he had any more inventory in their stock room. With a flip on his electronic pad he checked and said yes! I ran up to the front to get a shopping basket (I may be strong but I wasn't in the mood to be a carrying 60 lbs of wights around with me after just eating Crack Shack) and by the time I returned the Manager had a palate of new dumbbells out and had staff members unpacking them . Yay! Check out was a breeze and ALL of the staff here were super friendly and professional! Needless to say this will now be my new, go-to Sporting Goods store!

I have a large gun store about five minutes from where I live but I would sooner drive to Turners to conduct business than to go to the other gun store close by. Yesterday I stopped in on our way to Temecula to do some window shopping and to look at hunting rifles for an upcoming trip. I was assisted by Amanda who has been working at this location and helping me for several years. While I was originally in the market for a new rifle after browsing the selection decided it was also time for a new field gun. Amanda helped me compare a Beretta A300 Ultima and an A400 and ultimately I decided on the A300. The price was a good price and she had a brand new one disassembled and still in the box, so after about fifteen minutes of paperwork I was on my way out of the store. The 10-day wait always seems to drag out, but I'm looking forward to picking up my new shotgun. This Turners seems to be pretty dialed in both when it comes to purchases as well as private party transfers and their selection is always well stocked. I would say Turners as a whole has a pretty respectable footprint in the hunting, fishing and firearms retail community and I like how if I know what I'm looking for that I can rely on Turners to carry it and that their employees will always make sure I'm taken care of as a consumer.

From start to finish, Bruce and his team were incredibly thoughtful about finding the right fit for each child--not simply helping us choose a bow, but carefully fine-tuning each one specifically for them. They took the time to answer all of our questions, patiently work through the options, and make sure we were completely comfortable with the final choices without ever feeling rushed. And once the decisions were made, the tutorial was absolutely amazing. They took the time to teach the kids how to use their bows properly, safely, and confidently, which made the whole experience feel so much more personal and meaningful. There is a reason Bow N Arrow Shop has such fantastic reviews--and why it was referred to us by multiple people. The drive from the coastal side of San Diego was absolutely worth it. We now completely understand why places like Big 5, Amazon, and other big retailers pale in comparison. We will definitely take Bruce up on his offer to come back for a check up fitting after 150 arrows, and I have a feeling we may be bringing my husband back soon to get a bow of his own! Thank you, Bruce, and the entire Bow N Arrow Shop team, for such a wonderful experience. We couldn't recommend you more highly!

My son and I are novice fisherman taking a trip to Northern Tier with our scout troop to fish the boundary waters on the Minnesota / Canada border for Bass and Walleye for a week. Went into the store with my son and asked for a lot of basic advice on what the minimum setup was to have success since we are limited on what gear we can bring. The staff was really helpful going over basic lures and how they are supposed to be rigged with some examples from behind the counter. I did not get the impression they were trying to oversell or sell stuff we did not need. If they were not sure about an answer (for example the first guy we talked with was more familiar with salt vs. freshwater fishing) he did not try to fake an answer and directed me to other staff who were more knowledgable. So if you are beginning or a novice this tackle shop is a good stop to get you setup vs. buying random stuff off amazon. I'll be recommending the place to the rest of my 6 man crew as well as other crews from my troop that will be going to Northern tier later in the year. My one piece of advice for the staff is to be more proactive in engaging customers to see if they have questions. I know it can be a balance between giving customer space and hovering over them like a car salesman but in general us beginner / novice fisherman can get easily overwhelmed with the different assortments of tackle and appreciate the advice. If you are a customer note the store vibe is more on the side of letting you browse freely and engaging only if you ask for help.

Whoever was working the guns with the dark hair and the trimmed dark beard working mainly the left side was a jerk. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there nor cared about anything. I then was trying to inquire about a Ruger mark 4 and he was rude about how they have them but won't sell them but can order them. I still don't understand what he meant other than out of stock maybe? Anyway. Another customer came up behind me and asked this man a question and he scolded the customer and said he was with me, he was not and dragged me into it for some reason. He eventually got rid of the prospect and I proceeded to tell him I didn't want or need his help and to help the man he ignored. Instead he called up the next person in queue. Ironically enough, an employee was going off on a phone or radio about giving the best customer satisfaction possible lol. I almost said something to him but he was so hyped and happy, unlike mr grumps at the gun counter. Aside from that and what drove me away from purchasing a new firearm that day, the guys working Ammo and the fishing department were amazing.
