Excellent service and great food, what more could you want? Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and brought to a table to sit. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive, she immediately brought us water, toasted corn, and leche de tigre. The menu has a great array of Peruvian options, but not too many that it is overwhelming. We ordered los amigos del doctor, which was a great variety of causas - all delicious in their own way! Then, we had arroz chaufa mixta, which came with seafood, beef, and chicken. All so delicious and good portions! What really put this experience over the top was the great service, definitely left us with a desire to come back! read more

Writing a review because the service was exceptional and although I didn't love the plate I got, they were amazing. We started out with the plantains with crab which were amazing. And the little shot of the ceviche juice was so good I asked for an extra one. My friend got the chairs rice and she loved it, I got the crispy fish in a sauce with rice but it was unfortunately too think for my liking. The waiter came back and took it off my bill and was so nice about it. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Honestly.... one of the ways to my heart is leche de Tigre. So of course a place that STARTS you off with a leche de Tigre shot gets my vote. My phone was dying this day so I didn't get to take many photos but of course I got a photo of their ceviche. Which was amazing, might I add. I can't wait until I'm back! read more

Adan was our server and led us through an amazing meal!!! We started with a delicious appetizer - then moved to Ceviche - and finished with risotto. Everything here was not only full of flavor but the ENTIRE staff made us feel like family! Our daughter (17 months old) was greeted and engaged by every single person who worked here and we all were treated with such love and care. This will be our place! read more

The waiter was professional, asking about any allergies and quickly bringing our drinks and food. The restaurant is clean, the music is pleasant, and the restaurant has a spacious build with a sleek, modern design. The risotto was delicious and paired well with the mushrooms, while the churrasco was cooked as I asked and was juicy. For dessert, we had the Chocolate Overdose, which was my favorite thing here--sorry for the late photo. I appreciated that the chocolate cake wasn't overly liquidy and relied on the flavorful base; the vanilla ice cream complemented it wonderfully. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the excellent service. I will definitely be returning to try something new! read more

This is the 3rd Dr. Limón that I visit. The menu is a little different than the other two Kendall and Hollywood. The food was good as expected. However, there seems to be a ventilation problem here. There's a lot of smoke in the air. Might not come back because it's bothering my eyes. read more

I love Peruvian food. I hadn't been to Dr. Limón, I don't know how I had never been to this delicious place before that. Five stars, great food, great drinks, great service. I went for the first time with a friend for lunch. I was impressed, I came back for Valentine's Day. I went alone #datingmyself and still got treated like I was important . I was a little nervous at first since there were heart shaped balloons and love everywhere.... They made me feel so special! Even gave me a shot on the house. Loved it again, Therefore decided to take my brother for his birthday. My family and him (we are Peruvian, tough critics) LOVED IT. SO TASTY!!!! Prices are also really reasonable. It's a little small, but not overwhelmingly tiny. It's fairly open because of the windows, the natural light hits just right. Safe to say, they gained some regulars. read more

DELICIOSO!!! Outstanding. They nailed the Peruvian style ceviche and knocked it out of the park. Fair size amount of ceviche. Price is spot on. Servers were awesome. Cannot wait to come back!!! read more

I don't think it's fair for me to judge this place. It's my favorite place. I will recommend the octopus and the ceviche.

The tiger milk is absolutely fantastic- which made us try the 3 ceviche sampler- all 3 were amazing!! We are on vacation and only here for 2 days but I think we will be back- only thing they need are tortilla chips but that's a west coast thing Miami wouldn't know! I know good ceviche and this place is amazing!!!! read more

Every time time we've ate here it's always been a great experience. I don't know if it's just me but I find the food to really good and it's like it getting better every time I come. It's always good. I tried the fish ceviche with yellow sauce they give you in a shot glass. My honest opinion,,,,, it was different. Tad bit saucy but it mixed well the fish. Added medio picante and boom, that's the last of it. Ate it all. Only thing I felt was missing was a tiny bit more of those thinly chopped red onions. I did feel it being very small amount of onions, but hey that's just me. The fried rice was bomb, just ordered the beef fried rice. Definitely hit the spot nicely. And to top it off we had two glasses of the passion fruit cocktail looking mijito that comes out smoking. Mhmmmm, yup we're definitely returning. read more

I love ceviche and was very excited to try this place. I was pleased to see that they offer outdoor seating. Even without Covid, the weather in Miami in February is great to sit outside. The service was very good. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick. They have a nice drink menu. A decent selection of wines and cocktails, as well as a few craft beers. The food menu had a bigger selection than I expected. It was hard to choose. We settled on the mixed ceviche in 3 different flavors/sauces. It had a tender fish, calamari, and shrimp. There was a bowl of the most common ceviche flavor, one in a yellow sauce, and one in an orange sauce. It came with a side of Peruvian corn, hominy, and sweet potatoes. Everything was delicious. The mixed sampler was plenty for 2 people and we had leftovers. I look forward to returning and trying another dish. read more

Fast and excellent service, my children and I enjoyed our food that was tasty and abundant.

I was super excited to try this place after looking through the yelp reviews but sadly the fish was not fresh. When I eat bad fish I get an itch in my throat that last a couple days from linger bacteria of fish that isn't fresh. I eat raw fish at least once a week and the food tasted okay but I would not go back due to quality of food. The staff and service was great and got amazing service. read more

One of my favorite best Peruvian restaurant. There are variety of options on the menu . I decided to get the fried ceviche which was amazing it tasted fresh. It came with a turmeric sauce fresh cilantro and onion. I will go back to try more items on the menu for sure. The waiting time was long read more

We have ordered from Dr. Limon several times but today we switched it up and order all new items! When I asked my boyfriend "Which one is your favorite?" he said "I can't choose. There isn't anything here I don't like!" And that pretty much sums up our delicious meal!! Dr. Limon is a great option for any meal, any time, any day! The pulpo was delicious. The ceviche trio was classic! And because I couldn't choose between shrimp or tuna in my roll, I ordered the Tropical roll which had shrimp, tuna and salmon. WHAT A DELICIOUS ROLL!!! Fried on the outside?! So good!! We will be ordering all of these again soon! We ordered via GrubHub and the delivery was taking longer than usual but the woman at the restaurant was super nice in following up for me. Great customer service! read more

So new location, bright modern decor, an open concept, and still the great flavor! This shopping plaza can get packed with all the great eats here but there's always parking available on the rooftop of the plaza. Walking in your greeted by hostess and seated. I was meeting my parents on this evening so they already had a table. I do recommend maybe bringing a light cardigan if you get cold easily as we had to move our table cause the AC was pumping. As seated you get complimentary leche de tigre shots and the salted (I believe roasted)corn kernels (I know some call it tostadas). Great way to start off. We decided to share some appetizers as a main course since the portions are shareable size. We started off with their yucitos huancaina appetizer ( fried casava croquettes with a cheese like sauce) they were so good and not greasy for being fried. Next we had an order of tostones de congrejo (fried plaintains with crab and topped with this amazing sauce). I would've been satisfied with this alone. It was delicious, ALL flavors on point and it's real crab. This is a must order as an appetizer or be daring and just have it as a meal it was that damn good! So for our main courses my stepdad ordered the seafood chaufa and mom and I shared their fire and ice. It was way to much food and winded up taking home leftovers but it was soooooo good! The seafood chaufa was delish but that fire and ice platter(paella rice, ceviche, fried seafood chunks, and fried ceviche balls) won my heart. Everything was so tasty and I highly recommend that platter as it's like a sampler of all their best dishes in one. Dr. Limon is still a top spot for some really great food and ceviches, it just doesn't get any better than this! read more

What can I say this is truly my favorite Peruvian Fusion restaurant it never disappoints ! Granted the food is extremely pricey so make sure you have the budget to eat there. This plate pictured was $54. Whole fried grouper side scooped filet made into breaded chunks deep fried served with Guacaina parm risotto. My mouth waters just writing about it read more

Have no been there in years. But ceviche is it's middle name!. Service is uncomplicated and the food is up to standards.

I have always visited this place because the food is delicious, the service is great!! This time the recommendation was for a business lunch and certainly 100 points!! From their manager Yolanda and our waiter, excellent service from the moment of the reservation. Thank you, highly recommended. read more

Visited Dr. Limon for the first time ever and it was absolutely AMAZING! We tried several dishes at our table of 6. We tried the lomo saltado, tallarines verdes, a combo dish that had 4 varieties, and a few desserts. Everyone at the table was pleased with the food. So many flavors! The fried ceviche was delicious! My favorites as a non-fish eater were the lomo saltado and tallarin verde. Of the desserts, my favorite was the suspiro! Also, the service we received from JP was amazing! Definitely will return. read more

I love the freshness of their food here. I have dined in and have ordered take out here countless times. The ceviche is always made to order and super tasty. You can tell the difference between the ceviche here. The fish doesn't have that taste and texture that indicates it has been pre-made sitting in a bunch of lime juice. Instead, Dr. Limón does made to order ceviche and my go to flavors are Aji Amarillo and Rocoto. When pared with their Beef chaufa you have a delicious and refreshing Peruvian meal. Don't forget to ask for some Aji Verde (peruvian green hot sauce) :) I highly recommend this Peruvian establishment and their ceviche! read more

This Dr. Limon location is one of the few that has ample space inside. Our service and food was phenomenal. I really e joyed the passion fruit shake they have... they make it with and without milk. Trust me it's that good! Appetizers we had the fried yuca with their house yellow pepper sauce along with the mix ceviche in 4 different sauces. Ceviche is very good! As for our entrees... we sll tired the Loko salteado, mixed chaufa, jalea mixta, pesto pasta eith churrasco and salmon. Literally nothing that we tried disappointed us. All dishes were plated nicely and the taste was insane. For dessert you must have the passion fruit cream brûlée! Zero complaints and a nice evening with friends. read more

Order from here a lot, love it! The truffle sushi, Toby roll, lomo salteado, ají gallina and chaufas are great.

Excelente comida todo delicioso el servicio excelente atención hay muchos platos para comer

Ordered takeout today & it's just as good as dining in. Peruvian food is one of my all time favorites and Dr Limon satisfies that craving every time. I just got ceviche this time for a light lunch and it was so fresh and flavorful it is now the highlight of my day. My boyfriend and I were laughing saying how we already missed it before we finished. Pro tip: eat your ceviche with a spoon so not a delicious drop goes to waste! read more

Good food I'm not gonna lie. But as far as staff it is disappointing! I'm severe lactose intolerant, I always make sure to inform waiters about it, but lately they always messing up my orders, idk if is the lack of English or something else. I have no problems in trying to explain what I want (but don't just wave your head like u are understanding and bring me my order wrong, cuz that's just frustrating.) Almost 20 min waiting for a appetizer in a empty lunch time is upsetting. read more

The price was only bettered by the amazing food!! I will return with my entire family over and over again!!

Stopped in for a mid week dinner after an evening of shopping and it exceeded my expectations! We ordered the Peruvian egg rolls to start, which were very filling and delicious. For main entree I ordered the tallarines verdes with churrasco and that really was a treat. My boyfriend opted for a sushi roll and it was large and delicious. We both left very full and I took some of my food to go for a great lunch the next day. Service was very attentive and on point. Highly recommend Dr Limon, I will definitely be back! read more

The food was not that great. I felt the food was salty and plus no refills on sodas. The service was ok. I would not come back here again.

I have never eaten in this restaurant, but I have taken out the Ceviche. The ceviche is delicious.
