I hired OC Tree Care to trim 2 overgrown trees in my backyard. Carlos was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done. He was able to schedule my job for the next day. Jose, the foreman, was very professional and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving my home. The crew left my yard and my neighbor's yard spotless, not a single leaf on the ground. I highly recommend OC Tree Care, they're great! read more

I had a HORRIBLE experience with OC Tree Care! Carlos came out and gave me an estimate. I gave the estimate to my father and they schedule it for a week later. Well that Friday came around, he was supposed to be there at 1:30 pm. I gave an hour grace period, maybe he got caught up at a different job or something. 2:30 came around, no one has shown up or even gave a call. Between 2:30pm to 3:00 pm I called 4 times, each time with no answer and going to voicemail. I left a voicemail at 3 pm regarding the appointment and for them to give me a call back, just in case I was in the wrong. I called on 4/10 .. I have YET to get a call back!!!!! Its a sad shame because they received decent reviews on here. I was not expecting this horrible experience. read more

We recently had 2 trees removed and the stumps grinded down. They did a good job and the price was fair. The reason I am rating 3 stars is because when they were hauling the mess away and grinding down the stump they smashed our landscaping in the front yard. They had plenty of room to bring equipment through but trampled about 10 plants. I didn't realize until after they left. I called to complain and see what they could do since now I have to pay to replace those plants and no one returned my call. Carelessness and bad customer service. read more

I have had OC Tree care work on trees at my house on two occasions. Once to cut down a palm and trim two large palms and the second time to cut down the two large palms. Their pricing is very fair. The crews are all very nice and respectful. The last two palms they cut down for me I had them leave as two foot stumps, core out the middle and clean up the outside so that I could use them as planters. They did a really nice job with it. I highly recommend this company! read more

These guys are serious pros! I had them cut down a 50 foot Eucalyptus tree that was hanging over my roof and in a very difficult location with finesse. I couldn't believe how much work went into removing this giant tree, but they did not complain once! They seriously worked for three days roping, cutting, swinging, chipping, and sawing this beast down. I had over 10 bids on this tree and I decided to go with OC Tree Care since Carlos was the most straightforward. I'd highly recommend giving them a call for tree removal. read more

I tend to leave 5 star reviews all the time, but that's because when I decide to write a review it's because a company has REALLY done a good job. OC Tree is one of them. I have used them twice now (first time way before I started yelping) and both times I was so happy! Carlos is wonderful to work with. You call, and he is at your door, sometimes same day, usually the next. Very neat, soft spoken, and professional, First job they did (and he brings in a large crew, who work fast and efficiently) was replacing the horror I once called my "lawn" with beautiful green marathon sod. I cannot tell you how many times I tried growing something back there, but they gave it a fresh start, digging out the old, replacing old dirt with new, and laying the new sod. That was a year and a half ago. I must say, I have been much better at taking care of this lawn, (I no longer have a black thumb) but I credit it with the great start he gave it. To this day, it is green and wonderful. Second job I hired them for was tree trimming and cleaning. I have lots of ficus trees, a couple of others too, very tall, and very unkempt for years! (I promise to keep up from now on) Anyway, when they left, the trees were beautiful! They thinned them , but didn't take away the privacy they provide, cleaned them of all the spider webs, old leaves, twigs, dead animals (just kidding) They even trimmed them across the tops, and they are TALL. Then as an added bonus, they cleaned all the flower beds under all the trees. By the way, I did research and got estimates from other companies, even the second time. Don't know why I bothered the second time, but I did to satisfy myself, knowing I was getting the best deal and the best work. They definitely give the best prices for the work done, under bidding everyone. So, take my word for it, don't look any farther, Carlos and OC Tree Care will take care of you! read more

I was told I was going to get a quote on a Monday or Tuesday. No one came by on those specified days and I had to call in to ask if he was coming by on Wednesday (something I feel like they should have done). I live in a gated community and he called said he could not get in the gate and left. After returning his call to see if he could come back, no one returned my phone call. read more

Second time we have used them for our palm trees. Carlos was very prompt and professional. Came out and gave us a quote; very fair. Trimmed all palm trees. No spikes used. Protected all of the plumeria trees under the palms from the heavy palm fronds and husks. Cleaned yard after done. Highly recommend them to anyone. These guys are great! read more

I highly recommend OC Tree Care. Our king palm and roots were removed quickly and carefully. The crew was professional and courteous. I will hire them again. read more

This company is really good! Everyone was very nice and professional, from the office person who initially took my information to Carlos who came to my house to give the estimate, to the actual tree trimming crew. They did an excellent job trimming 3 over grown and neglected trees in my yard and completely cutting down one dead tree, cleaned it all up after leaving the yard look beautiful and they got it all done so quickly. They did an excellent job! read more

Wow! They did exactly what they said they would do. I had three bids done in November to get an idea of cost. OC Tree Care came in with a bid that was not the lowest, it was in the middle. However, Carlos was professional and straight to the point. I felt confident that they were the right choice. I checked their licence and confirmed that they are legit. Last week I called back to ask if we could meet to review and confirm that the proposal was still good. Carlos said it was not necessary and the quote still stood. I called the office and scheduled the date. The team showed up on time and was ready to go. All friendly guys, all spoke english and all worked hard. If you don't like to hear guys laughing and joking while doing hard work then pass. The work scope was to cut down a 50 foot blue gum tree, a peach tree, stump grind both and to rototil the entire yard to remove surface roots. I was concerned about this part because there were large and extensive roots all around the large yard. No problem, they went deep and took their time. When they left the area was clean and ready to go. They even took away plant material that had piled up in a corner that was not part of the scope. I would highly recommend that you give them a shot at a bid. Excellent team, excellent work, excellent results. read more

We had one Godzilla of a tree pushing its roots under the foundation of our garage. Carlos came over with an estimate and the tree was gone before I came home from work - like it was never there to begin with. Excellent work, quick, and reasonably-priced. I'd work with OC Tree Care again in a second! read more

Wonderful service! Great prices! They removed 4 trees from our property and did a great job! We then referred him to my father, they removed a huge dead pine from his back yard. They left both properties clean as a whistle! Would definitely use their service again! read more

Wow! Amazing work. I had two large queen palm trees (over 2 stories tall) and a med king palm I wanted removed. I got 3 quotes and OC Tree Care was in the mid range. I went with them rather than the cheaper quote because of Carlos. He ensured me of the companies license/bonding & how all of their employees were insured. Carlos also seemed more professional and explained how the trees would be removed ( the larger ones with a stump grinder) and the smaller palm would be dug up. I just felt cheaper does not always mean better. So for a couple of $100 dollars more I went with OC Tree & Im glad I did. They finished the job in 1 day and what really amazed me is the cleanliness. It looks like they were never here! No dirt, debris or even shavings...amazing job. I highly recommend them read more

OC tree care is great!! I had them come out and remove 15 trees that were about 20 feet tall and also stump grind the bases. They did an amazing job and cleaned everything up when they were done. Carlos was very easy to talk to during the estimate and there was no pressure to lock in the contract. They were also the 2nd lowest out of 6 bids that i received. All the workers were very pleasant and nice to work with. I love my new yard without the trees. Thank you OC Tree Care!! You have earned my return business and my referrals as well! read more

They did everything right. The estimator arrived on time, gave a reasonable estimate and scheduled a time right then, A few days later (today), on time, the trimmers arrived and smoothly removed two queen palms piece-by-piece. They blew and swept up the sawdust and hauled all the bits away. We gave the two workers a nice tip. Have recommended them to neighbors. read more

Carlos is professional and cares about his customers. Will use this company again : ) The trees look great!

Carlos arrived on time to quote me a very fair price to cut branches from our neighbors backyard Yucca tree, which had grown into our phone wires, and to prune the ornamental fig tree in our front yard. When I asked about our avocado tree, he responded honestly, "Not yet." He and his crew promptly arrived as scheduled. They tackled the Yucca tree with precision and care so no branches fell in our neighbor's yard. They even took time to remove the two ugly bushes in our backyard, about which I had forgotten to ask at the time of the original estimate. They hauled away all of the debris and finished in less than an hour. Now the front yard ornamental tree puts our front window to shame! Thank you O.C. Tree Care for a job well done. read more

Carlos and his team are amazing. I called them last week Thursday morning to get a quote to remove 2 very large triple palm trees. Carlos showed up by 11, gave me a really good quote and actually had his crew removing my trees by 2 pm the same day. Very professional crew and they worked quickly, but very thoughtfully. High end equipment too. I highly recommend them and I won't use any other tree company other than OC Tree Care! read more

I called them at 12:30pm today for a free quote. Carlos came out within an hour and by 5pm his crew had come and cut down a big tree in our side yard and hauled it all away (with clean up)...and so reasonably priced! Very friendly and prompt service. From the initial appointment for an estimate, right up to the time of job completion, this company is A+. Carlos came out and gave me a competitive estimate on the removal of two trees from my front yard. The work crew showed up at the specified time and finished just after lunch time. Stumps were ground down and surface roots were removed. Not one sprinkler was damaged when they dropped the eucalyptus tree, either! Did a great job of cleaning up after, too. Thanks! read more

Couldn't be happier! Our tree looks so much better, it really needed to be trimmed down. You can now see our house! :) They did such a good job. It has a nice shape and is thinned out nicely. They didn't make much noise at all either. 4 guys, professional, only took about 2 hours, cleaned up all the branches and mess. Will definitely be using them again in the future. Call Carlos for a quote, you won't be disappointed. read more

Another 5 star review, and I can see why everyone else is so happy with them. Carlos was on time for the estimate, and the pricing was very competitive. I asked about their insurance, and he had a Certificate of Insurance emailed to me by his excellent office staff within an hour. I accepted the bid, and scheduled the work. The crew was on time, and very polite. I left for work, and they got busy. When I got home it was like coming home to a new yard. Everything was trimmed and looked great. The clean up was excellent and there were no traces of the branches that were cut and hauled away- not even leaves. Highly recommended. I wish all companies that serviced residential needs were this professional and good. read more

Carlos and his team are the best. I sent them an email request to get a quote to remove 3 very large pine trees in our back yard. Carlos showed up right on schedule and after inspecting the trees suggested they just be groomed (not removed). He gave me a quote and his crew arrived within 2 hours on the same day to complete the work. The crew was professional and quick. After the crew left there was no sign they had been there (besides the trees looking much better), the yard was cleaner then when they arrived. I highly recommend them and I won't use any other tree company other than OC Tree Care! read more

Called them out to give me a estimate for disposing of some large tree debris. They gave me a reasonable estimate and were scheduled out the next day. Carlos and Susie responded very quickly to my initial estimate request. Carlos' estimate was fair and competitive, and was fully insured, so we hired them. The team cut down over two dozen trees very efficiently. During the tree stump removal, one of our water sprinkler pipes was accidentally broken but Carlos and his team came very quickly to replace it. Definitely a very professional company that I recommend. read more

I'm sorry it took awhile to write this review but I wanted to praise this company for the job they did. A couple of months ago I needed 3 large eucalyptus trees removed. I received a quote from 4 companies and OC Tree Care and one other company were pretty close. I went with OC Tree Care because they were the most prompt to come out and give me a quote and also to work with my schedule. They did an excellent job in cutting these trees down that were quite tall and large. They took great care to make sure that none of the limbs fell down and broke anything. They did an excellent job in cutting the trees all the way down and then cleaning everything up. I'm very glad that I went with OC and would use them again in an instant. read more

5 stars is an understatement. I had Carlos drive to my home in Laguna Niguel twice to quote and requote some extra work. Both times he was on time and friendly and fast! I had to postpone our work date due to getting HOA approval and it was no problem. When demo day finally came, three men came and removed two huge canary palms, trimmed 6 other varying sized palms and removed about 1,000 sq ft of tired landscape including many varieties and sizes of shrubs and bushes that had gotten out of hand. When the sprinklers went on the next day, we noticed a couple had broken. I called and a crew came same day to fix them, no issues or charge. I'll be hiring them for every trim in the future. Competitive pricing and hard clean work! Thanks! read more

Fast, courteous, professional AND reasonably priced! I like how the guy who came to the house to bid the job gave me a written quote on the spot. OC Tree Care arrived on time and completed the job very quickly with no problems. I would definitely call them again for any tree trimming or removal. read more

We had about a dozen trees to be trimmed, so we got four bids from local companies. OC Tree Care's bid was the lowest and very fair. They communicated well about the entire process. They showed up as promised and completed the job in a professional manner. Complete clean up and removal of all trimmings. I recommend them and would use them again without hesitation. read more

We have several overgrown trees in the back yard that required some serious trimming. On appointment day, Carlos called to let us know that he would be a few hours late since the crew had another job to finish. We were disappointed and was about to cancel when the crew showed up. Carlos made up for it by sending 3 extra guys to handle the job quicker. They did a fantastic job! Whatever needed to be done, they did with a smile. The clean-up was also impeccable. They even offered to clean up the extra leaves that's been piling up in the back yard for several years. Their quote was also lower than two other companies we inquired. We are extremely happy customers and would highly recommend this company. read more
