So happy I went with OC Tree Care! Carlos came out the day after I called and gave me a written estimate. When I called back to schedule an appointment, Susie was very nice and accommodated my schedule. On our appointment date, three men came out and did a fantastic job. They were on time, worked quickly, and did a thorough job. They also cleaned up all the leaves and branches really well. Very pleased :) read more

5 Stars!!!! 2 trees, 9 total stumps, and 2 overgrown Birds of Paradise - GONE. Great job cleaning up after. Showed up on time and done in 5 hours. Not one sprinkler broken. read more

I have worked with OC Tree Care twice now. Last time, they did an excellent job pruning an overgrown avocado tree. I called them again about a week ago to take out two palm trees that were also hugely overgrown. They showed up on time and did the job quickly and cleanly. However, when the landscape company came today to plant two smaller palms where the old ones had been removed, it turned out that the stumps had not been ground down enough. I was really impressed with the way OC Tree Care handled this problem. Within an hour of speaking with them on the phone and explaining the issue, they had their crew back out to grind the stumps down farther and make sure that there would be enough space to plant the new palm trees. They took care of it very quickly and with no questions. I appreciate how promptly and easily they took care of things, and the new palm trees still got planted today. Thank you! read more

First time cutting our trees since we moved in (1 Palm Tree and Bird of Paradise). I received 3 quotes from various vendors and they came is the lowest. They did a fantastic job and provided great service. My trees look phenomenal. I will absolutely use them again. Thanks for coming in lower than other companies. I think the other companies charged higher because it was only 2 trees. OC Tree Care didn't take advantage so I will definetly use you again. read more

OC Tree Care really does care about their customers and getting it right!! Thank you, Carlos, for the great backyard "haircut"! Our trees look great!! Your workers are so dedicated! As they were cleaning up, I noticed that an area had been overlooked - trust us, there was a LOT of cutting/trimming in my yard so it was not a surprise. They hopped right back into the tree and trimmed to our satisfaction. Trust me, there are lots of other companies that would not do that!! The chipper came in very handy the day your team was here. :-) I'm looking forward to my backyard's next "haircut"! read more

They were on time, very efficient doing a very hard job on very large trees and then cleaned up nicely. The price was right also. I will use them again in the future and recommend them. read more

Carlos and his crew did a superior job trimming our trees and shrubs in August of 2012. Even though it was late in the day when they started, they just worked with boundless energy to complete the job. It's nearly a year later and our trees and shrubs still look great. OC Tree Care carries workers' compensation (check for yourself) for their employees which I consider a necessity as well. read more

I had a hard time even getting people to come out and give me estimates. When I say "people", I mean licensed contractors. There are lots of guys with chain saws who barely speak English who will come out and do the work, but I wanted professionals who have insurance, and who I can actually communicate with. I called O.C. Tree care and Carlos came out to give me an estimate the same day. I had seven trees that needed pruning, and one that I needed removed, including stump grinding. Carlos gave me a great price, and they came out and did the work the next day. There were no problems; everything was done to my specifications, and they did a great job cleaning up. Next time I'll call OC Tree Care first. read more

OC tree Care removed a large carrot wood tree from our front yard. After getting multiple quotes, we chose them, and we're very impressed. The tree was removed, including stump grinding, all with in 3 hours. The crew cleaned up everything very well and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! read more

The service provided by OC Trees was excellent. Carlos gave us a reasonable quote to groom six palm trees. The workers arrived on time; they completed trimming the palm trees and removing all debris within 45 minutes. We highly recommend their services to anyone who needs their trees trimmed. read more

I'm very happy with the job OC Tree Care did removing our three palm trees. One was a California Fan Palm and two were Mexican Fan Palms, the tallest being over 50' tall. All three were located adjacent to a cinder-block wall and shrubbery. Carlos showed up early for the appointment to give a quote and was very professional giving a written quote. On the day of the removal, the workmen were careful and did not damage anything. They did a great job of cleaning up after removing and stump grinding the palms. I would not hesitate to use OC Tree Care again and would recommend their services to anyone. read more

I am a fan of this company! Carlos showed up on time for the quote and was very professional in his approach. I had three other quotes from other companies and they were all hundreds of dollars higher. Since we had several Italian Cypress to be taken down, and several other trees removed, this was a big job. I called OC Tree Service, confirmed the work to be done and established when the crew would arrive. They arrived right on time and proceeded to do the work. The work took two days to complete. The crew was great and they worked very hard. The clean up was excellent. Kudos to OC Tree Service and your hard working crew. Carlos, Raul and Hector thanks so much. read more

Happy first time customer. OC Tree Care is going to get my business whenever I need tree service. Would definitely recommend. Their quote was half of everybody else without sacrificing service. They have a great team. Quick clean and efficient. Thanks OC Tree Care for a great job! read more

Used OC Tree Care to remove a CA Pepper Tree from a parking lot last year. Everyone that I spoke to at OC Tree Care was very accommodating and professional. We ran into a bit of a snag with a honey bee infestation and they had to come back a couple additional times to finish the job. I really appreciate everyone there for being patient and working with me to complete the project. read more

I used OC Tree Care for removal of 4 very large pine trees and six poplar trees. They were quick, clean, and efficient. The team was polite and professional and took excellent care in all that they did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them highly. read more

The best tree removal service in Orange County!!! Carlos came out and gave a bid, and based on his fair pricing and very straightforward, no-nonsense quote, I decided to go with him on the spot. His crew was booked for the next week or so, but it was worth the wait. They finished a pretty big job of removing very large, mature trees and bushes from our front yard and backyard quickly, efficiently, and most of all, safely. It was a little hard to believe that all the work was done in a little over two days. All the workers were very professional, and they cleaned the area very nicely after finishing the job. Another huge point for us is that the business carries proper insurance for their workers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I got three quotes to have 4 tall palm trees removed and 5 tall trees (Sycamore, bottlebrush and Chinese elm) trimmed. OC Tree care's quote was in the middle. I pick OC Tree becaue of the good reviews I saw on Yelp. They did a good job cutting and timming trees and clean up the mess afterward. However, I was disappointed because workers damage a pipe connecting to the sprinkler causing major leak. Worker shut off main water line but without telling me. I had no water for one day. After I called, someone came to repair the leak the next day. Also I was bothered by this. I was told by Carlos that worker would remov a dead bush in my backyard for free. But since it was not written down on the estimate, worker refused do it. It would only take them a few minutes to remove it but they won't. You would think after giving them couple thousand dollors of business that they would threw this in for free. read more

We needed 10 dying cypress trees in our backyard removed, with the stumps ground down. We got a great estimate from them, and decided to proceed with their service. They came the morning of the appointment, right on time, and worked quickly. They did a great job removing the trees, and grinding down the stumps. They cleaned up the mess from the removal and stump grinding. If I was basing this review on the the removal alone, they'd get 5 stars. However, they ripped up a sprinkler line with the grinder and they damaged the stucco on the corner of our house when they were taking their equipment to the backyard. The clearance at the side yard is 54" clear. They had plenty of room to get it back there, but must have knocked into the corner of the house accidentally or carelessly. We didn't notice either issue until they had left, but I find it hard to believe they didn't realize either thing occurred. I'm disappointed they damaged the sprinkler line, and stucco and didn't say anything, or try to resolve either issue. read more

Disappointed by HIGH prices (67% more than last year??!!?) and sloppy clean up. They threw a lot of debris into our bushes thinking we were dumb gringos who would never notice. My wife then spent an hour cleaning up their mess! Tree trim OK, but over-priced given shoddy clean up job. read more

Carlos and his team did a good job cutting trees back. Although one of the branches fell and damaged our patio table, he did compensate us for the damage. read more

This review is long overdue as they provide such amazing service! I have contracted with them for the past five years for annual yard/tree pruning/cleanup. I have never had any problems with scheduling, they arrive on time, do excellent work, work fast, and do great cleanup when done. They are great at listening to and really hearing what I want done and are always very courteous. I highly recommend them! read more

Fast, professional service and great rates! Would definitely use them again!

We've used them twice in the last 4 years to trim our huge avocado tree. They have been professional and honest providing quick, excellent work at very reasonable prices (we bid the project out and OC Tree Care was significantly less each time). We'll use them again and highly recommend their work! read more

This is a reliable tree company. They answer the phone, return calls and show up when scheduled. They gave me a good price on getting some bushes and vines removed from our house. They showed up with a tree truck and stump grinder. The quality of the work was good. The only minor issues were they put some scratches on my vinyl gate when dragging the bushes away and forgot to bring their shovel and ax the second time they came out. read more

I scheduled a free estimate to have a huge dying tree removed from our backyard. They were a no call-no show. Thanks for wasting my time!

Carlos and crew were amazing. The price was very competitive and Carlos is a straightshooter who knows his stuff regarding all kinds of trees and plants. They completed work in a timely fashion and were very tidy. I literally could not be happier. We has some big trees and they made them all look natural and perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

nice work. Arrive on time. Very reasonable price. great job done. They make sure you are satisfied. Highly recommended.

Carlos did a great job. I called around 10 am, he showed up at 1 pm by 4 pm the job is done and the price is great! Will recommend him for sure. read more

I discovered OC Tree Care by reading their reviews on Yelp and I was impressed. They must be good (I said) because it took me a month just to get an appointment. But, they were good about coming out quickly and doing an estimate. It was about 30% higher than I was used to paying but, I reasoned that -- if they were that good -- the price would be justified. Well, in my experience, they are not that good. The guys who showed up to do the work were very nice but, I had to stay on them to do the work as requested and, in the end, they just did a mediocre job of trimming my trees and their clean-up was atrocious! I'm still picking up debris three days later! In my opinion, these guys are not worth the premium they charge. The people they sent did not seem at all knowledgable about how to properly trim a tree. They are the typical "hack & bag" guys I was trying to avoid. read more

After researching Yelp, this had 14 good reviews so I tried them. The reviews were as accurate as it can get; they are all friendly, helpful, reasonably priced, on-time, do more than you expect, clean-up thoroughly, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

I used Carlos again to lace my large pine tree. He came right out to give me a quote that was very competitive. Again he did a beautiful job. He is consistent and truly knows how to trim trees. I'll be calling him again next year. read more

I am so HAPPY that I found OC TREE CARE! In the month of November I decided to get some bids to cut down our 75 foot star pine. This tree was a huge PAIN because all the leaves would fall on three neighbors yards and was messy. I was so impressed with Carlos. He arrived on time for our the estimate and he was very professional. First impressions count highly in my book. (My experience with one other tree company I was trying to compare showed up an hour and half late!) In addition, the price was very reasonable. The crew was fantastic. They managed to climb up the massive tree and cut it down all the way to the stub! It was quite exciting to watch. They worked so hard, especially on a day where the weather was bad. Jorge , the lead guy understood what I wanted and offered his advice to get the best look for my backyard. Needless to say I will definately use these guys again. I have another orange tree that will need trimming after it yields some tasty oranges for me. I highly recommend this company! read more

I recently had two of my trees trimmed by OC Tree Care. Carlos gave me a good estimate, and after the tree trimmers were finished, he returned and answered my questions about the work that was done. Carlos also gave me a very good estimate for work to be completed later this year on 4 additional trees. Very professional company! read more

I had a messy tree that was dropping pods all over my porch, roof, and 2 neighbors, one with a pool. Several companies were notified through my Yelp message to this place first. This company responded immediately, came out to view the job on July 3rd after I sent pictures. I got my price and they were in and out the morning of the removal. very efficient and great clean up. I kept getting a text from another company for a lower price but they weren't responding to coming by. None of the others continued responding, either, possibly would have if I had called. The price from OC tree was middle range of what I was able to find on pricing for such a job so I was ok with sticking with OC tree. they were able to come out 3 days later after the first visit only because of the July 4th holiday. I will say that Carlos was super professional as was the rest of the team, and very easy to do business with. I recommend them! if you are having a tree removed, be sure to ask to have the stump grinded out. it's a little more, I had 2 other stumps, one was 50, another 100, but glad it's done! Also, if you pay by check it is better if you can because there is a 3% charge for credit card, which I needed to do since I was recently laid off. Also, I was not able to identify the tree, and when Carlos came by the first time, he told me what it was (a carrotwood tree, horrid). Summary: professional, efficient, clean work, nice guys. read more

I have used this company twice now and both times been very happy. I have quite a few large trees that need regular maintenance. I'm very careful to make sure I hire tree trimmers that know what they are doing. So many will just hack the trees and when they grow back you have even more of a mess. OC Tree Care was very professional and the pricing is very fair read more

Great price, prompt, efficient, professional and courteous...definitely recommend!!

Wow!!! So impressed! Three very friendly guys came and did their job, fest, nice, quickly and very professionally . They cleaned all back yard with blower and then went to neighbor back yard (!!!) and cleaned everything what flew in their back yard! Took trash away! ( none of the previous companies ever did it before) ... I am Highly recommend this company!!! Thank you so much guys!!!! read more

I have been using OC Tree Care for the past 6 years. They are the only company I have used because the company provides great service. When you call the office, Carlos is scheduled to go to your home to provide an estimate. Once you decide to go with the estimate, you call the office to schedule an appointment. On the day of the appointment, Carlos calls you to let you know the estimated time his crew will arrive. The guys always do a great job and the clean everything up as if they were never at your home. After the job is done, Carlos calls to follow with the homeowner to see if everything was done to the homeowner's satisfaction. You can't beat that customer service! read more

I called around after Santa Ana winds made of a mess of the trees in my back yard. Carlos at OC Tree came by in a few days that the price was fantastic.
