Paez Tree Service showed up quickly, removed a ton of tree and shrub debris and then ground 13 stumps into oblivion. They have the right heavy equipment for the job and they got it all done before lunchtime. Best part was that they cleaned up after their work and it looked better back there than it does after our landscapers leave. Well worth it. Thanks, Everardo and team. You guys crushed it.

These guys are AMATEURS and UNPROFESSIONAL~!!!…read more Our HOA received a quote to remove 7 pine trees from Valencia Tree Services. The quote came out to $9,200 to remove 7 pine trees. That's $1,314/tree (keep that in mind for later). They came out TWICE to inspect the job. The 1st time, they met with a board member. The 2nd time, I personally met with Miguel & Miranda. They came out 2 separate times to evaluate the job~!!! I have no idea why they needed to do a walk through 2 times, but Miguel appeared very confident that he could do the job. He looked at each tree thoroughly and reassured me that they would not damage the buildings nearby, including a pump for our pond that was directly under 1 of the pine trees. On the day of the job, Miranda calls me after 1 hour they were scheduled to start and advises that they severely under quoted for the job and that they would not be able to proceed and complete the job. After some frustration, I had asked if they could at least cut down 6 of the 7 pine trees for the quote we received. They agreed to cut down 6 pine trees for $9,200. About another hour later, Miranda calls back and advises that they will not be completing the job at all. She advised that they cut down 3 trees and left the job site. Later, I find out that they had only cut down 1 tree. I have no idea why they said they cut down 3 trees... Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL. They have no idea how to quote a job properly. Total waste of time. Then they have the audacity to request $1,900 for the 1 tree they cut down, not the $1,314/tree they quoted us. Lastly, they damaged and cut a pipe while they were grinding down 1 stump and failed to mention the damages.

I should expect a little bit of this but from my time doing construction a few pieces of solid plywood laid down before running the grinder on the lawn would have minimized the lawn damage. Also, they did not fully clean up as promised. Side of the house has to be cleaned up now and I had to ask them to at least blow off the sidewalk before they left. A better job taking care of my property would have given 5 stars.

I've updated my review to 5 stars. I literally posted this review this morning and when I came home…read morefrom work today, the stump (for the 4 star review) was gone! I'm so happy! I love the no fuss, no excuse attitude. Looks like Roman and his crew just came and took care of it. P.S. Roman also seems very knowledgeable about fruit tree trimmings. When he was here about the estimate, he gave some great advice about our orange trees. We'll probably contact him about that when the time is right. ---- Overall, we had a good experience with this company, and I think four stars is a fair reflection of the work, our overall experience, and the issue we had with them. We hired them to remove two VERY tall palm trees, as well as a large tree and some plants around the foundation of our home because we wanted to minimize watering close to the house. I received three quotes before deciding who to hire. Their price came in right in the middle (about $500 difference between the cheapest, and about $500 cheaper than the highest bid. I felt the value for the amount of work they did was very good since they basically discounted the random plants they took out. Roman was very knowledgeable from the beginning. When he came out to give us a quote, he looked at our yard, assessed whether their equipment would fit through the available space, and talked through how they could complete the job given the access limitations. That gave me a lot of confidence that he knew what he was doing. Roman was also very quick to respond. He was the first to respond and didn't pressure us to commit. He gave us the quote and told us to keep him updated as we did more research. The crew arrived around 7:00 a.m., got right to work, and I believe they were finished around 11:00 a.m. I was honestly impressed by how quickly they were able to take down two huge palm trees, remove the surrounding plants, grind everything down, clean up, and haul everything away. There was also a small extra touch that I really appreciated. After grinding the palms, they explained that the material could be useful around our other plants rather than simply hauling all of it away. We have two fruit trees, so they spread some of the ground palm material around our existing landscaping for us. They certainly didn't have to take the extra time to do that, and I thought it was very thoughtful. Good thing to know is that they are also able to fix broken pipes. They broke a sprinkler and fixed it right away on the spot. The next day we noticed another broken sprinkler and text Roman. He sent his crew out right away. He's really efficient and responsive which I appreciate. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because one tree in our front yard was supposed to be completely de-rooted and unfortunately wasn't. I text Roman know, and his crew did come back to address it, which I appreciated. However, when I later started working in that area because I wanted to plant something new, I discovered that a significant portion of the root/stump was still there. I reached out a couple more times but unfortunately didn't receive a response. That was disappointing, especially because part of the reason we hired the company was to have everything fully removed so we could start fresh with the landscaping. I think four stars is fair given the overall value of the work, while also taking into account that part of the job remains unresolved. Other customers may have rated the experience lower based on the unresolved root removal, especially since that was part of the work we agreed upon. However, I also want to be fair and give credit for the work that was done well, which was the majority of the job. Had the remaining root been fully removed, this would have been a five-star experience.

Excellent Tree Service!…read more I highly recommend Orange County Tree Service and Roman and his team! From start to finish, they were fantastic. The entire crew was on time, professional, respectful, and incredibly polite. They worked quickly and efficiently, and when they were finished, they did an amazing job cleaning everything up. They removed a ton of large trees all the way down to the root balls, which was a big job, and they handled it beautifully. What impressed me even more was that they took the time to save a small lemon tree and carefully replant it so it wouldn't die. That really showed me that they care about their work and their customers--not just getting the job done. As a local Orange County Realtor, I've worked with plenty of contractors and service companies over the years, and I can honestly say this team is excellent! If you need tree removal or tree service, I would absolutely recommend Roman and his crew. You won't be disappointed!

Mark and his crew were fantastic to take care of the job within 30 minutes, from start to finish tree removal to the base. Reached out on Yelp, and he responded quickly and showed up the same day to provide a very fair and competitive quote. He also was quick to provide license and insurance within a few minutes of request. He and his crew were also punctual, on the dot to the appointment. The three-man crew handled it like pros. Safety was clearly their priority - the man climbing the tree anchored himself with chains, and they worked carefully as a team, roped everything down piece by piece, dropping branches carefully, and made sure nothing fell into the neighbor's yard. What impressed me was the cleanup. They left the patio cleaner than when they arrived using blowers, rakes... even cleaned through the garage area. Highly recommend Mark and his team to anyone needing tree trimming or removal. I'd absolutely call them again for the other trees in my yard.
