Rigo came out on 8/3/26 and gave me an estimate of $1,400 to trim the ficus in my backyard (when they did it a few years ago it was $700). Anyway, I called them back today (9/20/26) to set up a time for them to come out and Rigo said he wouldn't honor the estimate because it had been too long...and didn't even quote me a new price. Robert the owner promised to replace it and took another top as a template. He promised to have both back in a week. My cat was stuck in a tree that was impossible for him to climb down on his own. I called and they were here within 15 minutes and he was out in another 15 minutes. Unbelievably quick, amazing service. I called multiple other tree trimmers who wanted to charge before coming out without a guarantee they could get him and couldn't do same say day emergency services. Communication was incredibly easy, mostly over text, and the cost was affordable compared to the other quotes without guarantees. The crew was very skilled and polite. Unfortunately, this is a review that includes both high praise for the quality of work regarding removing four very large rotting trees located on city property between 3 private residences and then goes south as soon as the check was delivered. The team did a fantastic job removing the trees, as required by the city to build a new structure, while juggling unhappy neighbors. They got the trees out quickly and for a very reasonable cost, especially when considering the particular location. Upon wrapping up, the guys on site asked for the final check after showing me the stumps had been fully removed. It was my mistake for not taking a long look around the entire property before issuing the check. As I looked out my back door the next morning, I see that the main power line running from the city pole to our weather-head was hanging a bit lower and upon further inspection, found the main conduit to be cracked and shifted 35 degrees - leaning toward our pool. Despite calls and messages asking for a return call to discuss the damages caused, no one ever called us back. The repair ended up costing us the same amount as the tree removal alone - doubling the cost of the entire project. 3D claims they are insured and go as far as to say that "the most important thing to check out whenever you hire anyone or any company to do any kind of work on your property" is "to ensure that they are licensed, bonded, and insured. Allowing anyone to do any work on your property when they aren't insured is a recipe for disaster." Well, maybe they are insured - maybe they aren't. But that doesn't matter if they won't call you back to address the damages caused by their own team. All in, they did a good job getting the trees out. The damages caused were clearly accidental, but simply ignoring the problem and not fixing the issue leads me to recommend you go with another company. Or at the very least, don't cut them a final check until you are able to complete a thorough inspection of your entire property. read more

I am blown away by this company! They were all so professional and efficient. They took down our palm tree very quickly, in such a safe and effective manner. They also removed the stump and another palm tree stump that was causing our backyard grief. Those roots really take over and wreak havoc. My husband and I really appreciated that they showed up at exactly the time they said they would, got to work right away so we weren't causing our neighbors a lot of noise for a long period of time, and they left the backyard better than they found it! Not only did they beat everyone's quote by nearly 50% but they also trimmed all my hedges that were way grown over, hadn't been trimmed in years. They told me while we are out there removing the tree it's no big deal for us to trim shrubs. They did a great clean up job as I have artificial turf by tree that I was worried about getting damaged and they cleaned up all the leaves and debris perfectly. I called this company for the estimate of our back yard trees fence. It has been long overdue. Rob picked up after a couple rings and we scheduled for the estimate to come in an hour. Robert was the person who came and spoke with us. He was very friendly and nice with giving us a reasonable price. We agreed to the price and immediately him and his crew were able to start on the project. His crew arrived around noon and worked until 4pm. His team was so quick, friendly and efficient. I have a house in Rosemead that has two humongous trees in the front yard and another equally humongous tree in the backyard. Robert from 3D Tree Services, Inc. came to our appointment early, and gave me an estimate to cut them down and grind the roots. I was very concerned how large the trees are and two of them have great portion above the roof and very close to the fences. Robert reassured me they are careful and with many years of experience. They are licensed and bonded. I gave his company the go ahead to come the next day. The workers are so pleasant and and so careful and so professional, I can't ask for a better company. Every step of the way above the roof the cutters will tied the huge trunks with ropes and lower each so the other person can guided it with a soft landing. And where the roots used to be, they were able to grinded them down and level with the ground. (Impressive!!) Finally for such a large job, they cleaned up so well when 1/2 hour earlier, the front and back yard looked like a battle zone. Excellent work from beginning to the end. I called them and they actually picked up, texted them a picture of the tree I wanted removed and they gave me a very competitive quote within minutes. This compared to other providers who want to send someone out to give you an estimate was way faster and better A lot of companies don't even bother picking up the phone. They were able to come the very next day. The removal was also super professional. The tree I wanted removed ended up having a beehive in it which I was worried was going to be a dealbreaker but instead they just called someone to bring a bee suit and got right back to work. Hired this company twice. First time they removed some birds of paradise and did a good job. Second job was to trim trees for $1,000. They did a fair job of trimming trees, but not great. I'd rate them a C-. They used the chipper to cut up and remove the trimmings. However, they dragged huge branches and sap over our newly renovated pool deck. They made no attempt to clean up this mess. When we contacted Robert twice for help, no response. We now need to hire a professional to clean up our deck.
