I can't say enough about this company. I have had other tree trimmers over the years, but this company is exceptional. I had already gotten a quote for this current job and then I called Frank Duran with 3D Tree Services for a 2nd quote. Not only was he so nice to deal with, but his prices were great and I felt assured that they would take their time to make sure that my surrounding plants were unharmed. Robert team was good at trimming. Quick at reasonable price. However, one out of the 15 trees doesnt bloom, we asked Robert multiple times to come check it out for us, there was minimal response. Now that we found out from the aborist that the 40ft tree died from trimming, of course there is no response from Robert, who is the owner of the company. I trusted these people, and they broke it. I had to leave my home unexpectedly (before work was finished), so I pointed out the specific areas that I *needed* trimmed, and the worker agreed. I gave him a check. When I got back home, NONE of the areas that I specified had been touched. Worse, they didn't even trim an entire side of the ficus hedge (that I paid for), and they also left piles of trimmings all over the yard. I called and spoke to Robert. I sent pics of the work that hadn't been done. He said he would tell his boss, and they'd call back. Nothing. I called again. Now they won't answer my call. But they cashed my check! I highly recommend 3-D Tree Services. The recent storm with heavy rain and high winds took down a large tree in the middle of the night and collapsed the fence. I called 3-D Tree services first thing in the morning and within 30-minutes, they had a representative out to access the damage, provide an estimate -- and had a crew out within a couple of hours to cut and remove the tree. Robert and his crew have done a couple projects in our yard. He is quick to come out for an estimate and his guys do good work. One job was removing a large tree between our pool and a fence and they were very careful with bringing down the branches so to not damage the pool or the fence. This company trimmed and removed the trees well, but when it came time for clean-up, they skipped out on cleaning off the roofs as promised and when making an appointment for them to return to clean the debris off the roofs, they no-showed & are no longer responding. Rigo, the owner, came out yesterday, when we called him. We needed our 130" Eucalyptus trees thinned. He gave us an estimate. We called a few other places, but decided to hire Rigo. He and his son, Frank, and their team came out, this morning, and finished, today around 1:00. They cleaned up everything, even trimmed a couple more small trees, for a small fee. I cannot really say if they do a good job cutting down trees or not. The one star is due to the fact that they came out and gave us an estimate to remove a large tree. They emailed us the quote and we told them we were accepting the quote and wanted to hire them. Never heard another word from them again. Left several voice mail and email messages. This tree removal and service is top notch! We needed a tree removed from our front lawn. I called around to several tree service companies. Many other companies said they would come out later in the week or didn't call me back at all. Robert at 3D Commercial Tree Service answered the phone, and scheduled to come give me a free quote in person the same day. He came out and was very nice and professional, and gave me a no pressure quote for tree removal with and without grinding of the stump. We opted to have the stump ground down and scheduled him to come out the very next morning to have the tree removed. He said we didn't even need to be home if we had other plans. A team came the next day right on time and removed the tree. They cleaned up as well and took all branches, debris, and leaves. The whole thing took only about 30 minutes. It's now as if the tree was never there! I can't say enough great things about Robert and his team. This company is the way to go for sure! read more

The quote was reasonable and the man giving the quote seemed very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the job was not completed as we agreed. There is still a small tree that I paid to be removed on the property. We were focusing on directions pertaining to larger trees that we didn't notice til later. When I called Robert Duran about it he said he would have someone remove it by the end of the week. At the end of the week I called him again and he said give him seven days. After seven days I started texting him and he didn't respond. I figured he wasn't going to finish the job and text him asking if he was really just going to ghost me like that. He called me right away very defensive asking why I would say that. I told him I just wanted him to finish and that he wasn't meeting the timelines he set or responding to texts. He said it was difficult and that I should give him seven days. It's been two weeks and he wont respond to calls or texts. If you just need cheap tree maintenance, maybe check these guys out. A friend was swindled by an unlicensed tree trimmer who abandoned the job and ghosted her. So she asked me to help her find someone legit. She reached out to 3D tree service and they provided a bid and were pressuring her for immediately signing contract and moving forward. They said there was a discount that was expiring and she had to move forward asap to take advantage of it. I suggested she confirm their insurance first and get several bids before signing. She wasn't sure what insurance requirements she should look for so I volunteered to help filter what was standard since I am a commercial lines coverage specialist. I initially spoke with Robert and he seemed willing to assist and forwarded certs for my review. When I pointed out that what was sent was a good start, but the certs were 2 and 3 months old, and were made out to other people. Having worked with contractors for more than 25 years, providing old or doctored certs is a common way to seem legit while not being adequatelyinsured. A policy is often purchased JUST to get the cert, then the cancelled. So I requested CURRENT DATES and to have the certs made out with my friend's name as the certificate holder. ROBERT argued that he submitted what was required and to submit a cert with my friends name as certholder was adding her to the policy. (Not true). The more I pushed for the correct info, the more he pushed back until he declined to do the job entirely. In my experience, this is a MAJOR red flag. They may or may not do good work, but they failed to provide confirmation to my satisfaction that they are legit. read more

Frank and his crew did a great job. I had a huge magnolia tree that I needed gone. I had to rake leaves every 2 to 3 days. The tree was about 30-35 feet high, with multiple wires, a shed, lemon tree, some plants, and power lines near by. They carefully dissected the tree without disturbing any of my belongings.
