Arkadia stood out to me as the company I wanted to hire (vs the others who also had great reviews) for these reasons: 1) Ease of communication - I was messaged back right away on Yelp and then I had both phone and text-message conversations with Francisco who is one of the owners and he was very helpful. He was nice and seemed like he knew a lot about trees and genuinely wanted to help. 2) Free estimate - another company wanted to charge me for an estimate but Arkadia came out for a free estimate. They also reduced the height and made it so the tree didn't touch the walls of my house anymore. I like how they trimmed the little stumps coming off the tree so it was a clean trim because I'm a details person and notice those little things. 7) Fausto brought 2 other workers with him and all 3 men were very nice, helpful, professional and made sure I was 100% satisfied every step of the way 8) They did a great job cleaning up after themselves! we have an old olive tree that was in great need of trimming. i have lost 2 in the past because of amateurs trimming too much or using contaiminated tools. i had one even spray the leaves to prevent fruting in direct sun which scorhed all the leaves and killed the tree. arkadia came out and looked at the tree and said we trim only 40% and none of the big limbs to keep it safe, otherwise it can die. so sonce they came out first, i went with it. the tree looks beautiful again and i love the way it moves in a light breeze. read more
