Super unprofessional! I scheduled an appointment for a tree service quote, and Edward confirmed the visit -- but no one ever showed up. It's already 35 minutes past my appointment and still no show! I called and left a message twice, no answer, and not even a courtesy call to reschedule or explain. I even left work early just for this appointment, and it ended up being a complete waste of time. We reached out to Freddy's Tree Service a few years ago to trim 3 of our trees and remove some of our other large potted plants. The process was fairly easy and they came out to give a quote almost right away. We spoke to the arborist Eduardo and he was knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Their price was the most fair among all of the places we got quotes from, and seeing the reviews we decided to go with them. I saw some others saying they had trouble with appointments made and no one showing up but we didn't have that issue at all. The tree trimming was done very well as our trees grew back beautifully after the service. Although at the time, I was a little disdained because as they trimmed our large eucalyptus, which sits very close to our house, the large thick branches they cut dropped onto our roof and we could hear it inside as a few loud thunks. However, given the value and overall service they provided, we kept their card for future needs. This time we are hiring them again to remove the eucalyptus with stump grind, as it's just getting too big (and even caused us major plumbing issues just last year). Even though we had other quotes that matched Freddy's, we still decided to go with Freddy because of our experience with them last time. They scheduled me for the following day and showed up on time. They were fast and precise in their work. They had the tree cut down within 15 minutes. They brought in an awesome stump grinding machine and got rid of the majority of the stump. They were meticulous in their work and ensured everything they had to move was put back and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. After a good tree removal experience with Freddy's, I had them top off and face hedges along my neighbor's fence line. My neighbor allowed them to access their side, which allowed them to do both sides and clean up. Eduardo had good suggestions and he directed the crew to get exactly what needed to be done. We set a time and date for the following week. I sent my address and information over but on the date and time, no one showed up. I called and left a voicemail asking if they still planned on coming out. Didn't hear back from anyone. We had grown concerned about the health, size, and stability of our Camphor tree. The tree roots extended in all directions, most notably towards the garage foundation. We sought the knowledge of a certified arborist. We called Freddy's Tree Service and were set up with an appointment with Eduardo the next day. Eduardo was very professional and thorough in his explanation of our options for caring for our tree. He did not push us in any one direction, but in the end, we opted to have the tree removed and the stump ground. Eduardo and his team arrived promptly on a drizzly Saturday morning and revalidated the work to be done. Working in a tight space, they had to maneuver around cement fencing and roots that had grown under concrete slabs, all while protecting existing bushes. Their attention to detail is off the charts! Not only did they grind down the roots under the slabs, but ensured that the slabs were level. They go the extra mile on clean up as well. Our yard was cleaner than when they arrived.
