I would love to give a detailed description of the service I received but there isn't a need. They came, they moved my stuff. They were on time, pleasant, professional and efficient. I certainly recommend them. Oh one thing I will say is that I chose them over the others because they seemed very simple in their pricing. Other companies spoke of some truck fee being doubled after a certain time. These guys have a slightly higher per hour fee but have a flat rate truck fee that keeps it simple to figure your costs. It is the worst movers I had up to now. I never recommend. 1) It is expensive. 2) In experience movers. 3) They drag to charge you more. 4) They do not tell you that they charge for 15 minutes increments when you book. For example, if it is 3:01 hrs, then they charge for 3:15 minutes! 5) The movers do not bring proper equipments. 6) They look and look to see how they can move the stuffs. 7) Of course, they undo the furniture (takes time and rebuilding takes time also). 8) The moving was done but they were putting their stuff to van while they are charging. 9) They are money lovers. They scratched my wood floor, damaged the walls and my furniture. I communicated with them before writing this email but they did not even communicate with me. You are alone if there is any damages. Oh, I forget they did not plug the gas dryer correctly and burn something from the dryer, and house was full of gas. I had to call SoGas. I still have to fix the gas dryer and pay the fixing from my pocket. I thought the moving will take only 2-3 hrs. They charged me almost 10 hrs. You get my points! I certainly do not recommend them. They said 3 men they sent 2 men. read more

We used Mini movers for a major move from a different state. They kept in close communication with us while we were transporting/Uhauling in and was very accommodating. Also, they contacted us when they were 20 minutes away and were on time. They unloaded the truck super quick we even had them an extra hour for helping set up furniture. My hubby and I needed to move from our apartment in Long Beach, to our new place in Anaheim. We've lived at the Long Beach place for about 5 years, and accumulated lots of stuff during that time! We only had a 1 bed/1 bath, but we also had a garage that turned into a partial storage unit for us. We are currently expecting our first baby, and are both super busy with work - so we just didn't foresee any way for us to make the move all on our own or butter up some friends and family to come help out. We decided that we wanted to check out a moving company, and came across OC Mini Movers. I contacted Tim, who was very friendly and accommodating with all of our needs. Come our move in day, Alfredo and Eric roll up to our place in a big ol' truck, ready to get busy. The total move from start to finish lasted 8 hours, and Alfredo and Eric worked tirelessly to get the job done. They were soaked in sweat, no joke, and just didn't stop working. I was amazed with how they managed to keep going. I hardly lifted a finger, and was tired from the day! The cost of the move was extremely reasonable, compared to other competitors out there. We hope to be in our new place for a while, but will be sure to call OC Mini Movers next time we're moving forward and will recommend their team to all of our friends and family! I have been trying to find someone to move my very heavy power recliner couches for over 2 months. When I moved, I had hired another agency to help me move. The stairs were too narrow with a low ceiling and they gave up on trying to move the sofa to the 2nd floor living room. I ended up with 2 couches in the garage. I was under the impression that the only way to move it was to hoist it up to the second floor balcony outside the living room. With that assumption, I contacted many movers and most of them said they wouldn't do any hoisting ... essentially giving up even before giving it much thought. I continued my research online when I saw the photographs posted on OC Mini Movers, which included some showing them hoisting sofas, although, by the looks of it, the sofas were no where close to how heavy mine are. I contacted them and I told them what they were up against. They were very positive that they could do it and suggested that I hire 2 of their guys and they'd finish it under an hour. I was very skeptical given my previous experiences and requested 3 guys. The representative insisted that 2 guys were more than enough to handle the job. They asked me for pictures of the couches, which I sent them. They called me back later and said that they'll send 3 guys. Given my skeptical self, I requested that they give me a fixed price and not base it on how much time they'd spend. They agreed and calculated the price based on 3 people for 1 hour + $95 location charges. On the scheduled day, the guys arrived on time, but there were only 2 of them ... I was, like, seriously!!! The guys (Chris and Alex, if I remember right) were real strong guys. However, the hoisting would be an impossible job for these 2, even if I assisted them. The guys, in a matter of minutes, dismantled the 2 couches by removing the 2 rails that each of the couches were bolted on to, essentially splitting each of them into 2 separate seats. The 2 of them then easily hauled it up the stairs and the reassembled them with great ease!!! I spent a lot on the sofa and I didn't want it to be ruined by amateur movers. These guys knew exactly what to do and did so quickly. Very professional and friendly guys. I highly recommend these guys based on my experience. Just one general note on my experience with movers ... all the guys who I hired over the years were wonderful people, just like you and me. Be good to them and treat them fairly and they'll respond in kind. Not everybody is lucky when it comes to things working as clockwork. Be patient and take it easy. read more

Okay, I usually don't write reviews... but the situation deserves one. I will say the guys that finally came out were great. Unfortunately, we were scheduled on Saturday afternoon at 1, and when they didn't show we called, after a couple hours of back and forth, we were told they needed to reschedule. We were stuck... they told us they would be there promptly at 8 on Sunday morning, and didn't show until almost 10. We finally got moved. What prompted this review is later that week when someone called to ask about our experience, we explained the situation they put us in and the guy really didn't care, no sorry, no offer to compensate, no nothing. read more

I had a great experience with this company! A friend had referred me to them. First, I requested a quote and they got back to me within the day. I was moving within two days and they were able to accommodate me with no problem. The day of the move - the two guys showed up on time. We were super screwed because we had a few furniture items that we couldn't move, and I called of mini movers around 3 and had movers at my place by 6. OC mini movers were great. Got two guys and a 25 ft box truck and myself, and moved out of our one bedroom on ground level and into a second floor back house a mile away in one trip and a few hours. They were not the cheapest quote I received - but that's not always the best option. The quote was fair and simple. Communication was great with Tim via Yelp for the quote, and with Gio (sp? Sorry!) the day of. I personally haaaate moving, and am old enough now that I don't offer to help friends move - I offer to help hire movers, LOL. I'd rather use these guys than deal with trying to twist friends' arms into helping for pizza and beer. For one, these two guys are way quicker and stronger than most people, and they are experienced. You get what you pay for! read more

They arrived well within the time window, introduced themselves immediately and wasted no time getting the job done. A full apartment move, including furniture disassembling, wrapping and reassembly, with two drop-off locations was complete within 3.5 hours.
