My family of 4 had a 4BR home to move from Chino to Anaheim. I hired Tim and Right Movers due to multiple positive recs from our neighborhood community facebook page. I contacted Tim who responded quickly to provide an estimate via video call and confirmed the date about 4 weeks before the moving day we needed. His team consisted of himself and 3 other men who arrived in the morning with a 28' truck which was stocked with packing supplies as well as extra boxes and tape. I still needed some assistance with packing some extra boxes I didn't finish before they came and they generously helped me with that while loading the rest of my stuff. I was impressed with how friendly, kind, helpful, efficient, clean, and hard-working they all were. They offered help repacking items that might break. The truck loading took until early evening, and then the unloading lasted until 10PM. Tim and his team worked extra hard to remove doors and ensure my furniture fit where we wanted them, even if it was extra challenging they made sure it worked. They assembled all the bed frames perfectly. They left boxes in storage in an organized way so it was easy to access later. There was minimal damage to a few old lamps but nothing major. We hired them the next day for a few more hours to assemble a few more items that needed their help. It was still a stressful big move with 2 little kids to work around but Right Movers made me feel better thru the day and got the job done. At this point, I'm not even sure if this is a legitimate business or if all of the other reviews are fake. I was referred to this company by someone I know. Turns out they didn't have direct experience with the company, and it was a secondhand referral. The owner, Tim, answered my initial call where I inquired about a moving quote. After that, no phone calls were answered again. Calls went to voicemail and I received texts in return - several hours later. We set up a virtual inspection for the day after the initial call. After it was completed I was told I'd receive an estimate. When I finally received the estimate I had a couple of questions about things on there, so I texted the owner. He said he would make the adjustments and suddenly when I got the new quote there were additional or different charges, effectively making the amount about the same as the initial quote. But the price was still going to be better than some other quotes we received, so I wasn't too concerned about it and decided to proceed. I accepted the invoice and waited to receive the link to pay the deposit. This is where things got weird. The deposit payment request was for an amount that didn't equate to half of the estimate I received. I texted Tim asking if he could explain where that amount came from. He said it should have been for 50% of the quote. Within a few minutes, I see that the link had updated and now reflected the 50% that I expected to see. I brushed it off as a simple error and tried to pay the deposit via the link I was sent. The link appeared to come from Chase (where I also bank), but kept giving me an error message when I clicked "Pay by Card". Right away I notified Tim and even sent screenshots of the error I was receiving. I kept trying - on my phone, my laptop, but nothing was working. I notified Tim and he said he'd get back to me after looking into what was going on, but he never did. I tried to follow up once more today, and received no response Obviously, I can't wait any longer to find out whether or not this will work out as we are only a few days away from our move. So now I have to scramble to hopefully book a different service in time for our move this weekend. I can only assume one of two things must be true based on this experience - 1. a higher paying job came along and instead of cancelling ours, they ghosted until we were the ones that had to give up and let them off the hook or 2. this company is a scam, and they never had any intention of showing up in the first place. Oh, and I looked them up on the Secretary of State's site. Their business license has been suspended since 11/2024. Do not give this company your time or money. read more

Apparently one of their drivers had an incident and was in an accident with the trailer. Long story short. The team over at Right Movers is great! From the first inquiry, to the in-house quote, packing and unloading it was a smooth experience. Worked with Zach, Frank and Noah and another guy that I really appreciate too. There was a nice girl helping unload too but man, this was the SMOOTHEST move we have ever done. This was from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Basically we were packing for a couple weeks and them they came on a Sunday to pack the truck. They used a 26 footer and we basically filled it all the way to the door with boxes, two beds, a three piece sectional, and three exercise machines. They drove out to Vegas and stayed overnight and we met them at our destination in the morning before it got warm. Packing took just over 5 hours but unloading only took 3. Makes sense and these guys again like I said did an amazing job. Packing was tight because our townhouse was only 1500 sqft. Also 3 floors with narrow staircases. For the value, quality and timing, Right Movers does it right. Get them for your next move! Also if it's hot, make sure they have enough water. I was getting worried that I wouldn't find a moving service within a week of my move in date. I was looking for one that was based in Orange. I was able to email them on a Sunday and have my email returned the day after with a scheduled Facetime call to view what pieces needed to be moved. I was able to give them a thorough walk through of what needed to be moved. So, amazing communication up to my move date. I value communication when it comes to life changing decisions like this. Office and customer service staff was super friendly. The moving team was pretty good too. I had three gents move two rooms to my new apartment. Art was amazing to work with. I appreciated the care the team put into getting my furniture from Orange to Irvine. They took care of assembly - some moving companies don't cover this, but I'm glad they did. Just had an amazing local move with this company. Art and Jay were my movers and they were amazing. What I love about this company is their constant communication. On my particular move, one of the trucks in their fleet wasn't working and had to get a rent a truck. Even though it was a bit late for them to show up, the fact that Jay communicated his ETA with Art as well as the main office letting me know was amazing. Even with the delayed start the move ended at the time I wanted it to. Which made me really happy. Pricing was reasonable and fair especially for some unique furniture pieces that I own that required disassembly and re-assembly. This is the third time we've used Right Movers and we would definitely use them again! The first time was in December of 2017 when we moved from our home in Anaheim Hills to a Condo in Yorba Linda. I had a broken foot at the time and the Movers were so empathetic and took the time to get everything exactly where I wanted it to be! The second time was in March of 2019 when we moved from Yorba Linda to our retirement home in Oregon. Our possessions were delivered on time and everything was taken care of to my complete satisfaction. The most recent time was moving my daughter from her apartment in Francisco to Oregon. Why I didn't call Tim in the first place, I'm not quite sure, but I didn't and if you've been looking for a moving company recently you will know that things are crazy out there. When you put in a search questionnaires pop up and if you fill out the information about your move, you are soon inundated with calls and emails from hucksters. These people are well versed in high pressure sales tactics and say anything to convince you that their company is best and everyone else is a bunch of crooks. I don't fall so easily and thought I'd hired the right company, but they left us high and dry. That same day in desperation, I reached out to Tim at Right Movers. Understandably, it was difficult to get hold of him because his company is EXTREMELY busy. But when I did get him on the phone he set up FaceTime meeting that very evening to see what needed to be moved. Exactly 2 weeks later, all of my daughter's things were picked up from San Francisco and delivered the very next day to Oregon!!!! Now, I must tell you about Carlos. He is the most exemplary, good natured, hard working, professional our family has EVER seen! He was fast, efficient and worked tirelessly moving our daughter's furniture down 3 flights of stairs, and never lost his smile. The right movers are the "WRONG MOVERS". Do not hire this company! They were going to move us on a Sunday and be here at 10:00. They did not show up. We got a text that they would not be able to make it that day. REALLY!!! A new move date was set for the next Wednesday. They were going to be here at 9:30 (and the owner even said he would be here so that nothing could go wrong). At 9:35 on Wednesday, the morning of the move, they let us know they could not move us again. And they did not even have the decency to call us (either time), we had to hear it from our realtor. They wrap your furniture with plastic wrap, disassemble and reassemble furniture, and make sure everything is secure in the truck. We requested Right Movers provide us with 3 strong people, and a truck to assist in moving our large, heavy items from our old home in Fullerton to our new home in Yorba Linda. After an Facetime interview and walk through our house, we were provided with an estimate. They moved everything carefully, and only managed to break one item, a 24" dia. catch saucer that went under a large plant. They placed all the items where we requested, and carefully assembled the beds and other items that required disassembly to move. It took a total of 6 hours to move, down from the 8 hours that was in the initial estimate, and they adjusted the price to reflect the real moving costs. The office manager,Martina Kaplan, did some research and found a replacement for the broken item within the allowance they quoted for it, and we are very pleased with the quality of the overall move. read more

My husband researched a lot of different moving companies and the ratings were never higher than 3 and the horror stories were awful. We settled on a POD but the drop off date was going to be substantially later than what we needed. We decided to ask our community Facebook page and received several recommendations for Right Movers. Tim spent a good deal of time on the phone with me and I could tell he was just a genuine guy / business owner. He came out to quote and provided a reasonable price on the spot. The day of the move, the crew showed up on time and worked hard. Our movers were Miguel, Gonzalo and Frankie. They did an awesome job and I was so thankful for their hard work and the care they showed to our belongings. They wrapped every single item in a moving blanket and plastic wrap. And wow did they Tetris that moving van! Masters at fitting everything! I would highly recommend these guys any time you have a moving need. The worst experience of my life. 8.5 months pregnant, scheduled my move well in advance and received TWO confirmation phone calls the day prior. Move was supposed to happen at 9am, then I was asked if noon would be ok. I agreed as it gave me an few extra hours in the morning to finish things up. At noon I'd received ZERO communication so I started calling and of course no one answered. Around 1 I received a phone call from one of the movers himself letting me know they'd be there at 5:30PM!?! Obviously I flipped out--I emailed the company and FINALLY received a call back from Joy, the woman who was scheduling me all along, and all I got was an apology. The movers finally showed up at 7:30PM and they moved us through the night. The compensation I was given was to waived the $25 shrink wrap fee. Moving has been one of the most stressful experiences I can think of. The only thing worse was reading mover reviews once you realize you're never going to be able to do this yourself. So many moving pieces. Having your lifelong belongings packed, transported & relocated is just a small piece of it. Vehicles, escrows, banks, mail, utilities, Internet services Child & pet care, doctors, etc... Tim & the Right Movers team were awesome at taking a big piece of that stress away. Overall good move. The older gentleman was a bit grumpy and careless. At one point our bed slats fell off the lift gate; and another time something else almost fell off the gate he was operating that thankfully was caught by a friend. He couldn't care less.
