Had frank come to install 2 outdoor lights. After it was installed, I did some research and realized the lights were not installed per California Code with a junction box. I informed him right away and asked to have him come and install it correctly. He did come and redo it but expected to be paid FULL PRICE again because "I didn't tell him to install per the codes." What is the purpose of hiring an electrician who has a License and is an expert if he is not going to install it on his own? He basically admitted that junction box is a safety feature and he should have done it and it was not per code when he did not do it first time. He just charged us DOUBLE for installing the same thing when it was completely his fault for not doing it right the first time. He was also rude and started a tirade against me and I was very scared of him physically assaulting me so I just gave him the money. This is just like stealing. Very disappointed. read more

He was very quick in replying to my quote request, and he was punctual on the date and time he stated. Upon arrival, Frank immediately got to work on the two projects: Google Nest thermostat and a Ring Floodlight camera. Hired Frank for a bathroom repair and stucco patch job that was supposed to take two days. Pros: When Frank was working, he did a great job, our bathroom looks back to normal and he went the extra mile to level the floor out to ensure the flooring went in correctly. Overall the quality of work was right in line with what we paid. Cons: Frank is a nice enough guy, but he was late both days he was here, his truck leaked oil onto the driveway and he was never prepared with any materials. I had to go to Home Depot four times despite asking what he needed the first day. After the second day, he was supposed to return to hook up the toilet and patch the stucco. I took the day off work to wait for him, waited all day, and then texted me he had an emergency at 4 PM and couldn't come. I understand emergencies happen, but no text or call was unprofessional. Again, the work was good, but Frank wasn't reliable and taking a day off work added to the price of the job and left a bad taste, so I wouldn't hire him again for that reason. read more
