Water was leaking outside the shower and had started damaging the baseboard. Paul responded right away, was extremely professional and friendly, and sent me a scope that explains exactly what he was going to do and what was included in the service. His pricing was also very fair. He came out the very next day, recaulked the entire shower enclosure, and replaced/repainted the damaged baseboard. While working, he noticed a potential issue that could have been contributing to the leak and took the time to explain it and provided a solution. He went above and beyond and caulked additional areas that weren't part of the original scope. Paul is knowledgeable, honest, responsive, and genuinely kind. I put out a project request on Yelp for a handyman to do a few things at my rental property and while I received several flat quotes on my inquiry, Handybox replied quickly requesting to come by the property to get a better idea of the job and give a more accurate estimate. Immediately I was happy with that honest response that he wanted to see first before giving me random price. Paul came to check out the hole in the bedroom door. I asked if he thought it was necessary to purchase and install a new door or if he could patch and paint it. He said he could patch and paint and would look just fine and save money there. I was super happy with that as the other guys just suggested I buy a new door which would be $100+ then the labor they would charge for removal of old door which+ install new would be another $100+ !
