OC mini movers were great. Got two guys and a 25 ft box truck and myself, and moved out of our one bedroom on ground level and into a second floor back house a mile away in one trip and a few hours. They were not the cheapest quote I received - but that's not always the best option. The quote was fair and simple. Communication was great with Tim via Yelp for the quote, and with Gio (sp? Sorry!) the day of. I personally haaaate moving, and am old enough now that I don't offer to help friends move - I offer to help hire movers, LOL. I'd rather use these guys than deal with trying to twist friends' arms into helping for pizza and beer. For one, these two guys are way quicker and stronger than most people, and they are experienced. You get what you pay for! read more

Called me at 8a.m. (scheduled arrival time) and said they were 45 minutes away. Very friendly, got the job done. Tony and Josh we're a good team. Considering it was raining they did a great job. The only odd thing was at the end they asked us to write a review- of course... however- asked my husband for his phone and they wrote their own review! On my husband's phone! Luis and Narith were great! This was my first experience with OC Mini Movers and I'm very pleased with the job. They arrived well within the time window, introduced themselves immediately and wasted no time getting the job done. A full apartment move, including furniture disassembling, wrapping and reassembly, with two drop-off locations was complete within 3.5 hours. They were also extremely friendly and pleasant to chat with. While this wasn't the cheapest move, neither was their service. You certainly get what you pay for and more with these guys. read more

I didn't have a specific move out day narrowed down. There's an option to store your items overnight that I was told about which helped in so many ways! I needed a quick move between two rooms. Called them on Tuesday for the move that Thursday, they made it happen. They sent Tom and Luis and got it done quickly. These guys are as good as it gets! I had a very small job for them--to rearrange furniture inside the house and swap several pieces for those in the garage. I was worried about a large, heavy armoire that would barely fit through the doorway. They moved everything without an issue, were respectful of my walls and floors and were clean and neat. This is the 3rd time I've used OC mini movers, and once again I was very satisfied with their services!! My family needed help moving from their upstairs 3 bedroom apartment, so I suggested OC mini movers. Josh and Adam assisted us with the move, they were very professional, friendly and efficient. I received a call 30 minutes prior to their arrival informing me of what time they'd be there, they also asked a few questions in regard to what they'd be moving for us. When they arrived they asked us a few questions (did we want things wrapped ect) and then they got to work! My family and I did move a few of the smaller things down to the truck on our own to ease some of the workload off of Josh and Adam, not because they needed our help but because it was a big job so we wanted to help out when we could. It took 5.5 hours for a 3 bedroom apartment move including a 35 minute drive to the new location, keep in mind that they had to climb stairs at both locations and they also had to unassemble and reassemble furniture. My family and I were impressed with how fast they completed the job! We thought it would've taken a lot longer. I highly recommend OC Mini Movers, all of the guys that I've encountered thus far are very good at their jobs! The rates are fair, you won't find better rates! My family and I contacted several companies prior to OC mini movers, I'll just say we saved a lot of money! I called them a day before on short notice and they were able to accommodate our move. They responded to my inquiry literally within a few minutes of me sending for an estimate. Their hourly rate was fair and was a flat rate fee for truck/drive time. I preferred a flat rate fee for drive time anyways rather than most companies that charge double time. Matthew and Luis arrived within the designated time window. They were both polite and friendly. They moved the big items efficiently and quickly. They did take a bit more time trying to figure out how to get a large fridge out, but they did it and it was done safely. I like that they moved the fridge the correct way with straps keeping it upright at all times rather than a dolly and tipping the fridge sideways (which could ruin the fridge). They unloaded everything into our storage garage super fast. Anything that had to be disassembled, they put back together quickly and correct. I would use them again for any future moves. Another great move from OC Mini Movers. This time with Miguel and Tom. For storage purposes, I've had to move my apartments in shifts. The first move (and previous review) was to organize a storage room with large shelving. The second involved 2 trips, moving large furniture to my son's upstairs apartment, then to my storage facility. Miguel and Tom had my apartment loaded in record time and just as quickly unloaded at both destinations. Both my son and I received the same courteous and professional service as I did the first time I used them. One of the main reasons I chose them was their willingness to store our furniture & other items on their truck overnight and move it into the new location the next day (for only a nominal fee). This is a follow up to my story... A few days after the no-show, I got a call from Taylor - the HR director. He was very polite and genuinely concerned over what happened on moving day. He asked for the details, apologized sincerely and explained that they are a family business going through growing pains because of the amount of work they are getting. While that does not justify what happened, I can sympathize with that. He asked what I had to do since they didn't show up and offered compensation for what I had to pay for my move. The next day, a check was in the mail. I can't in good faith give 5 stars here, because I can't actually speak to the type of work they perform. That being said, a few additional stars is warranted for the way that they handled this mishap after the fact. I appreciate that they were honest and owned up to their fault rather than making a bunch of excuses for what happened. I also appreciate their willingness to do what it takes to make the situation right. read more

Moved a China Cabinet across town. They did an excellent job. Flat rate for truck, hourly rate for workers and no minimum. I found their price very reasonable. They responded to very short notice and arrived at the requested time. Upon entry, they quickly and professionally removed glass pieces, packaged the cabinet pieces, and loaded it onto the moving truck. They did not waste time. At the destination, they were equally professional. They even took care not to damage the wood flooring when placing the cabinet onto the floor. Tim scheduled me in within 5 days of moving from Irvine to Torrance. Joey and Junior moved our 6 pieces of furniture and 4 boxes of books and misc. items down 3 flights of stairs in 20 minutes. When they got to the drop off location, they unloaded all of our stuff up three sets of stairs again in about half an hour. They saved us a lot of time in the day to unpack and get settled in. I couldn't have been happier with their professionalism, friendliness & efficiency. They took great care with everything - wrapping up pictures, the TV & other pieces that needed extra protection. I was very happy when I received a quick response to my request, hoping that this company would be as good as their reviews. I had a very heavy bed frame that needed to be moved from my garage to an upstairs bedroom. I thought that since it was a small job they may not be interested.
