everything was fast, fresh, and tasty. It didn't have much of a seafood taste, you really taste the sauces and toppings

Here in the morning at 10am for Bun Bo hue Mo Lan, I wanna say they shared a business with OC A chay because the menu where different in the morning or when we got there. Which was fine because I was craving bun bo hue, and I just finished filing my taxes which it was a couple of doors down the same plaza. This review is an honest one, I know there is a sign in near the cash register about placing a five star review for a soda, ON WHICH I DID NOT DO! AS A YELP ELITE, WE DO NOT TAKE BRIBES!! I spent my own money here. Keep in mind they don't take cards, only cash or you can zelle/ venmo them. They even provide a QR code for easy payment. My total bill was $20.11 (see picture) below and I had to zelle so be aware that they prefer cash. My mom and I wanted to try their bun bo hue since our favorite spot in GG quality has gone down and it wasn't the same owner anymore. We just ordered one bowl of bun bo hue mo lan and asked for an extra bowl to share and I ordered a coke (On which I paid, again as a yelp elite, I take pride in my reviews and never for a bribe). Now the broth was okay, lots of lemon grass but the broth taste a bit of the powder kind of flavor and not actually bone broth. You gotta add some fish sauce and lemon / limes to get out the flavor, lots of meats, I feel like you're getting your $15 bucks worth of good cut of meats, and it does not taste old at all. Decent noodles serving and lots of veggies. Overall, it's a okay bowl, you get your money worth of meats, just little piece of the pig's foot which on my bowl felt like it should be cook down a bit more since it wasn't that tender. Now the beef tendons was super soft and chewy, the liver blood was a nice cut, and it was just enough to share too. If you are just craving bun bo hue meats, this is the place to go and if you don't mind the flavor of the broth, come here. My mom and I give this bowl of bun bo hue a 6.7/10. Side note: There chili or satay isn't spicy, so if you have your own from home bring it or take order to go. (Which they had a lot of to go orders when we got there) Would we come back? Eh, if my mom or I aren't planning to make bun bo hue at home or if out and about in this area. I do like the decor and the theme of the place, my mom likes that there are cartoons about the restaurant bun bo hue.

I came here before going to karaoke and I was so happy I did. I loved the scene inside look like a movie set. I imagine a good amount of creativity was put into this place. As well as the service being fast and reliable. The food itself is worth the price. I was happy with my meal and got to make a good connection over it.

Quite great, better then we expected. We ordered couple seafoods grilled dishes, shaken beef w/ fried & rice. Bun bo hue in hot stone, banh mi o pls & sake. Parking was easy since it is in a big complex plaza. Great and friendly service. Foods are tasty and very yummy. The only thing that wasn't good was the shaken beef, it was abit under cooked and very chewy (old meat?), but the sauce is very tasty and delish. The place is decor with street food signs like and hand paired of Vietnamese restaurant names. With ceiling-to-floor window that over looked the parking lot. Quite lifely vibe. Overall it is a great place for both street foods and main dishes with great and caring services. They also honored Yelps review and they will give you 10% off of your total bill and they also accept zelle and Venmo for payment too.

Came in for bun Bo hue and Vietnamese seafood. Everything taste delicious. Service was great, food came out super fast. The ambiance is clean , great atmosphere

Food is tasty and service is prompt. We like the food here. They fill up our water very quickly too even though it's 30 min before closing.

We stop by here and trued based on the reviews. And also, because we want it to eat someplace that we have not tried yet for snails. we normally try a couple other places when we are in the LA area and on vacation. When we arrived inside, had a lot tables at the list packed already. It looked like a really great place to die. The staff on the floor were very nice and helpful. Help us get seated with the stroller. With our baby and everything they had nice lively music playing in the background. Looked like kind of like a young younger crowd mixed in with some families. They help us with the orders andy twin, that came out looked so good. And we couldn't wait to taste them all. I love the snails tasted very fresh clean. Didn't have you know any bad foul smells or anything like that? And all was cooked perfection, especially in the ones the stir fry, with the ong choy. It definitely hit the spot and we would definitely recommend for everyone who loves snails, razor clams, and mussels to come. To top it all off, the service was so great. they purposely held the music down at a lower volume. As we were there at a later time which they said normally at about 10 o'clock, they have a live djj. And they really turn up the music, they have this every weeknight late night and all weekends, they'll play up the music. They saw that because we have our baby with us, that they purposely would hold off on raisingbthe volune, until we finished up. So that was really soo nice of the attentiveness of the staff. We appreciated.

I owe this review for a while now. They opened a new location since their old location burned down. I have to say they really upgraded the menu. Their snail and clam and seashell dishes are so good. The service may be slow on busy nights but trust me those servers never skip you they are more than happy to compensate. My favorite is Thai Style clams and Pepper escargot. They also have DJs on Fridays and Saturdays for those who love good music as they drink their night away. I highly recommend this place! Check it out!

Along with that, our table also ordered: the quail with sticky rice ($20.99), salted fish and shrimp fried rice ($24.99), shaken beef with garlic noodles ($22.99), bok choy with sautéed garlic ($12.99), a hot tea ($4.00), Coca-Cola ($5.50), a mojito ($15.00), and a margarita ($15.00). With tax ($17.71), our ticket was $209.16 before gratuity. The NOLA Grilled Oysters come sizzling on a hot griddle, with four different fillings, four pieces each, for a total of 16 oysters. The price might seem a bit indulgent, but not if you consider the effort and ingredients that go into this presentation. Each type was flavorful, and there wasn't a single one I didn't enjoy. The salted fish fried rice was an interesting experience. I enjoyed the dish, though the salted fish was less salty than I expected. Someone in our group, who usually doesn't like salted fish fried rice because they find it too salty, actually liked this version for its milder flavor. The plate also includes four large shrimp. The shaken beef was tasty and tender; the garlic noodles were al dente and had just enough garlic--not excessive. The sautéed garlic added a smoky, nutty taste to the bok choy. The quail was marinated well and tasted good--but I wonder if it was fried just a bit too long. After this meal, I chatted with a friend who lives in the community. He'd been to this spot before but dismissed it as just another seafood boil joint. After our conversation, though, he said he'd be willing to give it another shot. I guess your impression of this restaurant depends, at least in part, on what you order. The service, by the way, was excellent. The dining environment was clean and comfortable, with plenty of television screens so people could keep up with World Cup matches.

This place has been my go to favorite Dim sum spot in OC since I was a kid. I've noticed many Dim Sum spots in OC just aren't good. No offense lol. There something about the seasoning and portion size that hits. Hargow - big shrimp filled Hargow. Big pieces. The dough is perfectly thin. Shumai- my favorite ! Super big pieces filled with pork and shrimp. A must order Chicken Feet - perfect Tang and chew to start your Dim Sum experience. Good for the collagen! Very flavorful. Shrimp Rice Paper - my favorite over the beef one. The shrimp was nice and big. The sweet soy sauce was perfect match. I wish it was a bit more umami compared to ones I get in NY. Pork and Chive Dumpling - it was okay. Didn't have any opinion. Taro Cake - pretty decent. Nice crisp and super soft and mellow inside. Would get this again!! BBQ Pork Buns - my favorite! Super chunky pork and not overly sweet. Baked to perfection! Beef in steamed rice paper rolls - this was okay. I felt like the beef lacked the flavor versus shrimp.

The service is good. They use a menu ordering system rather than the traditional carts rolling around, and I have to admit I miss the carts. There's something fun about the serendipity of seeing a dish go by, pointing at it, and trying something new. I also enjoy having a wide variety of options available. They did bring around a few plates to offer, which was a nice touch. I do have one major complaint: they list siu mai on the menu, but it really isn't siu mai. Traditional siu mai has a thin wrapper around the filling, while what they serve is essentially a ball of filling. I ordered the shrimp and mushroom version, but it was basically a shrimp ball topped with a shiitake mushroom. The individual dim sum pieces are larger than average, which is nice, but it also makes them easier to prepare and doesn't necessarily justify the very high prices. In fact, I think this may be one of the most expensive dim sum restaurants I've been to. When you're averaging more than $10 for three pieces of dim sum per dish, it becomes too expensive for a regular visit. That said, as an occasional treat, it's still a nice place to come.

Or maybe they like the cuisine, but for health reasons they've been told to avoid eating it. I know for me I just haven't come around to a lot of Asian cuisines that are focused on high vegetable and low protein content. But to this day Toby and I have never shared a seafood boil together. She has a germaphobe reaction to eating food with her hands and there's no easy way to knife-and-fork stuff like shrimp, crawfish, crab, or lobster. She's offered to get something else like fish n' chips or a plain steak or something, while I get myself a boil. However, one of the joys of boils is digging into a mound of Cajun-flavored seafood together as a group effort. A wondrous temple to the art like Roux Seafood Kitchen would be wasted on her. I couldn't get enough of their shrimp and crawfish. They were both plump, flavorful, and disassembled easy in my hands. At a lb. each, I was more than stuffed at meal's end. I think the only thing that could've made it better is if I had ordered a lobster tail in there. That would've been my ideal order. The service was great here for my party. The drinks were refilled quickly, the food was brought out in an efficient manner, and even the order taking was controlled in what kind of have been haphazard conditions. I liked the ambiance too. The dining room was a spacious and accommodating. The music was low. And the crowds were busy but not super full, which is where I like it. Nobody was on top of each other at neighboring tables and the noise level wasn't drowning. All in all, I think this is the perfect example of a seafood boil joint. The only thing that could've made it better is if my oldest eating buddy (and ex) could've miraculously gotten over her condition and joined me. That's the dream.
