I really liked: House Special Lobster Peking Duck I liked: Shrimp W/ Green Beans The lobster is decent #goodeats. You order it by the pound and it comes out in their house special sauce. Just keep in mind the shell adds a lot to the weight, so it's worth slightly over ordering. The Peking duck is a highlight. You get the usual setup, but they also bring out a separate plate with all the insides, which is a big plus if you like getting the full value of the duck. The shrimp is solid overall, but the green beans are just ok and don't really stand out. Service here is very much that unapologetically Asian style. It can feel curt and you might need to actively flag someone down if you need something. It's not inattentive so much as it is hands-off unless you ask. If you speak Vietnamese or Chinese, it definitely helps, but either way you'll get taken care of. Ambiance is pretty no-frills. It's not the cleanest spot and tables can get crowded, especially with larger family-style meals. If you need more space or a fresh plate, just ask and they'll help accommodate. The more proactive you are, the smoother the experience will be. Good spot for a big group meal when you're focused on the dishes more than the setting. #goodeats

Came here with my family and it was such a great experience. We ordered 12 different dishes and literally finished everything because it was that good. Every dish tasted fresh, high-quality, and full of flavor. You can tell the food is made fresh and the ingredients are really good. The menu has so many options, which makes it perfect for coming with a group. The portions are big plates, so we shared everything family-style and got to try a lot of different dishes. Every single one was super delicious and authentic. If you're coming with family or a group of friends, this is a great spot because you can order a bunch of dishes and share. Definitely a place we'd come back to again. Service was fast and nice!

Came on wednesday around 6:15 and we got seated immediately, there were plenty of tables. Once we ordered, the food came out so quickly! We were finished eating within an hour!! The food itself was really good!! We loved the honey walnut shrimp, fried noodle with beef, and the peking duck! I loved that that served the whole duck with the order. I grew up eating chinese dinners like this and I'm glad we found this spot! I meant to order the peking pork, but the sweet and sour pork was super delicious too. We got 6 dishes total for 5 people and it was only $155!! Very affordable for the amount of food we got.

Stabled and been around for decades and to go for the locals. Parking is fine since they do have small parking lot behind and street parking infront. Service is great, friendly and attentive. Menu is a typical old style Chinese dishes with plenty of choices from meat to seafoods to veggies and family combo. It's an old building so it's okey decor inside with plenty of mirrors on walls and with banners and dishes pics hanging on top. Foods overall are average, nothing special...I guess thy haven't update the cooking style since opening. Tasty but oily and the portion is generous & fits for the price tag. Overall, stable place for stable foods with stable service.

I always confuse this location with the one on Bolsa Ave. Either way, it worked out because I much prefer this location as it's smaller, cozier, and service is more attentive. We missed the lunch rush so it was the perfect time slot, when the restaurant has a bit of a break before dinner hour. The food here was spectacular this day. Craving their House Special Lobster so we had to get an order. Again, no matter how much we want to try other things on the menu, we always seem to order the same. Everything came piping hot from the kitchen: Manila Clams with Black Bean Sauce, Pea Shoots with Garlic Sauce, and Beef Chowfun. Also wanted Peking Duck but we were told they were out. Nevertheless, we had plenty of food.

the entry way, I wish it looked nicer

I can't believe I've never left a review for this place. My family has been coming here for decades. My grandparents loved the authentic food, their favorite was the tofu. It has a crispy outer shell and soft interior, super flavorful sauce. We always order the kung pao chicken, Fried rice, walnut shrimp, and whole fried fish. I love that they always bring out hot tea and soup. The dessert is also complimentary. It's normally like a tapioca rice soup thing. I'm shocked that over all this place has a 3.8 rating, the only thing i can think of is that the interior is old and dated, but the food is 10/10. Consistent and not too oily. If you are in the mood for authentic Chinese food this is the place. We often order To-Go, which the food holds up as well.

Absolutely Love This Place, Especially Mr. Lai! My family and I absolutely love this Chinese restaurant and a huge part of why we keep coming back is because of the amazing owner, Mr. Lai! He's always warm, welcoming, and makes every visit feel like we're dining with family. The food is consistently delicious, with generous, family style portions and what feels like a million tasty options on the menu! We've tried so many dishes over the years, and honestly, it's hard to go wrong with anything here. Some of our all-time favorites include: * House Special Fish Fillet - my personal go-to! Flavorful, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. * House Special Chicken - my fiancé's favorite. * House Special Lobster - always a crowd-pleaser. * Salt & Pepper Pork Chop - so tasty and crispy! * Fried Tofu and Walnut Shrimp - both incredible additions to any meal. We often come here for family celebrations and gatherings, but it's also perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with just our household. No matter the occasion, we always leave happy and full. If you're looking for great food, amazing service, and a place that feels like home.... this is it. We can't recommend it enough. Thank you, Mr. Lai, for always taking such great care of us!

Christmas Day with the family is rare because I'm usually working. This year I was blessed to be able to join them for an annual Christmas Day restaurant lunch. Upon it entering it was busy that's when you know that the restaurant has good food. My aunt & cousins with their families in tow were already eating so I am not sure what the wait time was. The table set up was clean. The place smelled great like delicious garlic that was not overwhelming. The food was absolutely amazing as it tasted as good as it looked. Every dish had just the right amount of sweet, salt & mouth feel. Portions were decent as well. The only thing that was not appetizing was the manner some of the servers threw it on the table. *POOF* then no where to be seen. We asked for sugar for the tea & one of the servers looked upset. Then they tossed it on the table as well. Then when it was time to bring the check The server repeatedly came to check on it. As it is trying to share a bill with several people is hard because you have to gather it together. The server kept waving the bill in front of everybody at the table and kept on trying to push it at somebody to pay it. I realize that it's busy and they want to get some of the tables out but totally unnecessary to be so aggressive.

It's been a long time since we visited this restaurant because of the Pandemic and then we have come back twice in the last 40 days. The lunch menu is still quite amazing for variety and pricing even during these terrible times. The food is served quickly, on point with service and with no fuss. It's quite ordinary from an old school stand point - just delicious food, quality stirfry, available fresh seafood as well the now normal "fresh-frozen' as most restaurants, and quiet kind service This is not gourmet, not upscale or is there any pretentious. Don't expect upscale service. But do respect the facts that good quality cooking & services that are offered without the demand of much higher prices which they might well deserve

Me and my family have been coming here for years. We especially like how there's a Khmer speaking waiter that's always there, makes everything easier for my grandma and parents when ordering. We usually order the family meal which comes with lobster, shrimp, Vietnamese sour soup, etc. The lobster is definitely the star of the dish. The meat is fresh and it's tossed in their house sauce that's so good. Also recommend getting their honey walnut shrimp and Peking duck. Overall a solid Chinese restaurant with a Southeast Asian influence.

OG Chinese restaurant in Westminster. They have a big parking lot and there's no wait to be seated. We food was solid but I've tasted better at other places. The sizzling shaken beef was a little tough and the anchovy fried rice was ok. The house special fish fillet was better than we anticipated.

Interior in disrepair.

Our dining experience at this restaurant was disappointing in every aspect. Upon entering, the foyer presented an unkempt and neglected appearance, resembling a storage area. The dining room was equally uninviting, with worn furniture and stained ceilings that detracted from the ambiance. Such conditions inevitably raise concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen. I rate the establishment 2 stars, as the absence of visible insects prevented a lower score. The service was marginally below average, warranting a rating of approximately 2.5 out of 5. Staff performance lacked the attentiveness and professionalism expected in a dining setting. The food was consistently underwhelming and lacked flavor. We ordered seafood lo mein, shrimp chop suey, and shrimp fried rice. The lo mein noodles were overly soft and mushy, while the chop suey and fried rice were bland, lacking seasoning or distinction. In comparison, even a chain like Panda Express would seem like gourmet cuisine. Food gets 2 stars from me but if you like bland food that number could be higher. I felt embarrassed for bringing my mother to this establishment, as it left a poor impression. Based on prior reviews, I had anticipated a higher quality of cuisine. While I acknowledge that some regional Chinese cuisines may favor subtler flavors, the dishes here failed to meet even modest expectations. For those who prefer bland food, this restaurant might be adequate, but we will not return.

Honestly it wasn't that great for all this food
Lilee N.

I don't know but the food was kind of bland. I expected more. The fried tofu was good. They ran out of crab. Veggies were ok but the pea shoots were not as expected. Walnut shrimp felt off with a weird off yellow sauce that didn't really taste right. The service was as expected for a Chinese restaurant- not rude not overly great but enough to get you situated and served with an abundance of family style food. Thai clams were ok but sauce was kinda viscous. The fried egg noodles were already soggy by the time they got to our table. We tried an Americanized orange chicken for good times sake and it was iight but not Panda. Very loud. Likely would suggest their other location near Little Saigon at least the place isn't as cramped

The place is so old that the inside is dirty and there aren't many customers. The carpet is especially dirty.

The dim sum is HUGEEE, especially the siu mai. The size really makes it so much juicier and satisfying to bite through, and it's packed with so much pork and shrimp. I also tried a new dish this most recent time, the tofu skin wrapped dumpling, and it was really good, I'll have to add this one to my regular order! It's definitely already a super popular spot, especially for large parties, so I'd recommend going early or getting takeout!

That said, the salmon and especially the yellowtail were outstanding, it was fresh, flavorful, and everyone enjoyed it.
