Oysters shrimp and Peruvian scallops! Bellisimo!
Lily R.

Wow wow wow Came in a few weeks early to reserve some kumo oysters for Christmas and when I came in today, Christmas Eve, I got Peruvian scallops, masago, horseradish and cocktail shrimp sauce as well. Boy, Sicilian Italians are all about seafood and it pleased the crowd and everyone was happy how fresh and amazing the scallops and oysters were! A hit for a gathering and a reasonable prices! I drove in from south OC and will certainly make the drive to come back for many more times! Thank you so much and the service was a delight! Friendly folks and tidy location and well run! Have a wonderful Christmas D&D!

Got 5 lbs crawfishs today and I'm VERY HAPPY with what I got. The crawfishs are HUGE like baby lobsters. This place would see me more often as I get crawfishs from now on; next time I would get a box (10 lbs) instead of a bag of 5 lbs. These are so much better than the shrimps I got at Costco. Might get clamps and scallops (if I know how to prep them) next time. Ate $120 worth of crawfish this month; 15 lbs!! I'm good for the month :)

This is the only place that we go to for seafood. Great customer service, new quality products and fresh.

Best place to get sushi grade fish to make your own sushi at home! The owners were so nice and helpful and the selection and quality was A1.

i bought a tray of uni, a slab of salmon, and yellowtail from D&D seafood. i had the pleasure of talking to Danny, the owner. he was very informative - educated me and answered all my questions regarding uni. I can tell he is a very knowledgeable guy - taught me about uni quality, color and freshness. Definitely shows through in the seafood. Everything i bought was super fresh and delicious. I would recommend this place for the quality and price point.

Came in yesterday after reading all the reviews. This place did not disappoint, met the owner Danny super helpful ended up buying some seabreme, Japanese yellowtail and some scallops. Fixed up the scallops as soon as I got home. Delicious

Salmon sashimi, 1lb

Bought a pound of salmon sashimi, then sliced it and ate it at the park. Delicious. Still have half left over. Fatty like salmon belly, but still affordable. Buy their wasabi - super spicy.

Yellowtail Hibachi, Fresh Salmon, Fresh Uni (Sea Urchin)

This is my favorite place in Westminster for fresh seafood. The quality is always amazing--everything tastes so clean and fresh. The uni here is the freshest I've ever tried. It was so creamy and sweet, just perfect. It's a family-owned business, and everyone there is so kind and welcoming. They make you feel like part of the family. The service is great, and the whole place has a warm, friendly feeling. If you love seafood, you have to try this place. It's the best in town, and I always leave happy.

If you're looking for high quality seafood (sushi grade, etc), this is an amazing place to buy some. Their prices best even some of the Japanese markets in costa mesa. The salmon, scallops and the toro were so amazingly fresh. We even opted for some a5 wagyu and wow it was so delicious. We were first time customers and we are definitely coming back as the guy working the Sunday morning was super friendly.

I liked the single-serve salmon portions, as well as ready-to-heat-and-eat meals that Amazon Fresh had. Someone recommended that I check out Wild Fork - also on Brookhurst (at Adams) - so off I went! I stopped by on an early Sunday morning - so luckily, the parking lot was practically empty, as was the store. Immediately upon entering I noticed how bright and clean the store was, wide aisles, everything was organized in its own little section. I started off on one corner and just browsed my way through. Nina - one of the store clerks here - chanced upon me and asked if I needed help finding anything. I told her it was my first time - and she took it from there! Extremely friendly, warm and welcoming - she explained the store's color coded system, pointing out the exotic meats section (they have alligator/crocodile here!!), beef - including wagyu, pork, sausages (they literally have two freezer sections of sausage/chorizo), meals/appetizers, and my favorite section - seafood/fish. After I shared with her my sadness over Amazon Fresh closing - especially because I liked their single-serve salmon portions - Nina pointed out their salmon offerings, and mentioned that their salmon portions are also single-serve, flash frozen (so they stay fresh longer) - but showed me how they were individually wrapped within their own packaging. I picked up a few salmon entrees based off Nina's recommendations, and my own tastes. I know a few people have raved about their frozen pasta meals - so I grabbed a few of those boxes too. Checkout was a breeze - Nina helped me at checkout and shared that the store occasionally has BBQs on the weekends. Wild Fork is definitely a new favorite - hoping to come back and check out the other offerings depending on how everything I bought turns out! Awesome service and introduction to a new customer - thanks, Nina!

It's a big supermarket with a wide selection of Asian groceries, fresh produce, and especially seafood. I usually come here to buy lobster and crab when they go on sale, since the prices are pretty good compared to other places. I don't really come here often though, mainly because of the strong fishy smell inside the store. Every time I leave, I feel like the smell sticks to my clothes, which I don't really like. Also, it can get very busy and the checkout lines are usually long. The staff at the front can also be a bit hit or miss in terms of friendliness. Parking can also be a bit difficult sometimes since this whole area has a lot of different businesses, so it gets crowded pretty easily. Overall, it's still a convenient place for good seafood deals and Asian groceries, but I mostly just come when there's a sale on lobster or crab.

I noticed other customers approaching staff directly for assistance, so I eventually did the same. The employee behind the counter selected four beautiful salmon steaks for me. However, while packaging them, the bag split open and all four steaks fell onto the floor. The employee quickly picked them up and took them back behind the counter. It appeared that he attempted to rinse them off and package them to sell to me anyway. When he brought them back, I asked, "Didn't those salmon steaks just hit the floor? Could you please get me four new ones?" His response, said quietly under his breath, was, "Oh, you saw that." He then selected four replacement steaks, weighed them, and labeled them for purchase. I was very disappointed that anyone would attempt to sell food that had fallen on the floor. That experience left a very negative impression and made me question the seafood department's food handling practices. The rest of my shopping experience was fine, and the highlight of my visit was one of the restaurants inside the store--a boba and milk tea shop. The service there was excellent, and I had one of the best yogurt and pumpkin milk teas I've ever tasted. That positive experience is the reason I'm giving three stars instead of one. I'll likely avoid purchasing seafood here in the future, but I would definitely return to visit the shops and restaurants inside the store.

The store itself is smaller if you compare it with places like Shun Fat Westminster Superstore or Hòa Bình supermarket. There is only one checkout counter and the staff all seem to be Vietnamese. After walking around, they pretty much have all the basics covered. The focus is Vietnamese and Southeast Asian ingredients and sauces. They have their own seafood and meat counter with number tags where you can ask them to clean or cut fish, plus a small deli to go section. I also noticed their delivery vehicle outside that says wholesale, so it seems like they also supply restaurants in the area. Overall it feels like a neighborhood market that also does some wholesale business. The fresh section looked clean and there was no strong smell. I happened to see ground pork on sale for $2.49 per pound. The regular price was $2.79. Of course I had just paid $3.99 per pound earlier that day at 99 Ranch in Irvine because I wanted convenience. While we were there, a Vietnamese lady next to us was buying a big pile of meat and seafood and chatting with us while waiting for it to be cut. She said she always shops here. She ended up buying the last of the ground pork in the display. We asked if there was any left and the butcher said he had more in the back, so we immediately decided to grab two pounds. I think this place is perfect if you do not want to push a cart around a huge store and just need to pick up a few items quickly. They are open until 8pm. Next time I have more time I will come back and explore a bit more to see what other interesting things they carry. For meat, I grabbed ground beef, pork neck (currently on sale for $1.99/lb), and chicken breast. Prices were definitely reasonable. For produce, quite a few items were cheaper than H Mart, including enoki mushrooms, Japanese yam, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots. That said, the Japanese yam didn't look very fresh this time, so I ended up skipping it and buying it at H Mart instead, even though it was a bit more expensive. Some items were priced about the same as H Mart, like napa cabbage ($0.99/lb), onions ($0.39/lb), and bean sprouts ($0.99 per pack). One change I noticed is that cucumbers are now pre-packaged instead of being sold loose, so you can't pick them individually anymore. They're also slightly more expensive than H Mart now. They also had a great deal on Driscoll's strawberries, $0.99 for a 1 lb box, which is definitely worth picking up.
