My new fave spot for Bun Mam. Super clean, nice waiters and the food is great! The bun mam broth is so delicious, not too salty or sweet..just the perfect amount of fermented fish and you can the lemongrass. The toppings are good. Highly recommend if you want to try bun mam. Will be sending my friends and fam here :)

I'm a big fan of Bún mắm , always on the lookout for a place that serves it well to satisfy my cravings. I've tried many spots, and so far, this is the one I'm most satisfied with. The broth is aromatic with lemongrass and full of rich flavor. I especially enjoyed the little bowl of tamarind fish sauce for dipping the toppings, it reminded me of the style from my hometown. The seasoning was just right for me. The vegetable platter was generous, fresh, and had a nice variety. Service was a bit slow since there was only one young man that day and the restaurant was quite busy. Still, he was very enthusiastic and attentive, which made up for it. There's plenty of parking in front of the restaurant, when I visited

My beautiful big bowl of soup. I requested no fish, otherwise this dish will include fish.

We went on a weekday around 10:30am and the restaurant was only had one table occupied. That's how I like it. We decided we try the bun mam based on yelp's reviews. I will give 5 stars for this dish. I can tell the ingredients they used were fresh from the herbs plate to the seafood topping. The taste was great, not too sweet and did not smell fishy. Service was great and free hot tea is a plus for me. Parking is plenty during weekday. Will be back to try other items on the menu

My dad got this to go so I cant really speak about service or ambiance but the bun mam was fire. The broth was fragrant, full bodied, and full of umami. They gave us so much of the toppings so protein lovers and nutritionists will like this one. The only thing holding back is that we wish there was a bit more broth. The ratio of contents to broth is slightly off. Other than that, actual flavor bomb

Bún mắm nc lèo ngon, nhiều loại mồi (heo quay, cá, tôm, mực, chả, cà tím), rau sống cắt mỏng nhúng nc lèo mao mềm. Nhân viên dễ chịu vui vẻ. Quán nhìn sạch sẽ có vẻ mới.

I was here for Bun Mam and it was good! Good amount of toppings. Service was awesome. Price was reasonable. I would come back again next time I'm in town.

5 stars for the bun mam. Probably one of the best bun mam in OC. Lots of fresh veggies (like 6 different kinds) and lots of toppings (shrimp, fish, squid, fish cake, pork belly, eggplant). Some reviewers said the broth is a little sweet for them, but I thought it was perfect. Very flavorful and not sweet at all for me. Other places make it so salty. Portion is huge. Price is reasonable. Iced tea is free and good strong flavor.

Great food and services!! Nice and clean environment!! First time being here and falling in love already lol

I like the bún mắm here. The broth is more on the sweeter side which suits my family's palate. Has all the good toppings in a proper bun mam. Yummy

Great food and a very pleasant dining experience. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The restaurant also has a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, which makes it a great place to enjoy a meal. As a nice bonus, they provide free iced tea for guests. Highly recommended!

Tried their Bun Mam and Hu Tieu Nam Vang. Bun Mam is tasty but on the sweet side. Bun Mam needs to be on the salty side with a squeeze lime will balance it. The broth is a bit thin in texture, it needs to be thicker. Topping is fine but missing boiled pork belly slices. The fish isn't fresh or overcooked, the meat lost its texture. Overall 7/10. The Nam Vang is decent, nothing special and nothing is bad. Service is quick and the interior is clean.

Follow the food group comment , come here to try Bun mām. Nice service, small& clean restaurant. Bun mām was great ( the taste as people of western Vietnam) If you fan of Mãm stop by try here , the soup not very salty as some of the other restaurants. I will be back to try another item in here.

Their Vietnamese Fermented Fish Noodle Soup is so so, not what I expected. The bowl does not have chili fish cake, the eggplants were not soft, still hard, I did NOT smell the aroma of fermented fish, it just tasted salty overall. The broth has MSG caused me some mild headaches and dry mouth. Their Banh Hoi with Crispy Pork Belly was tasty in good portions, so that is a plus. Those young waiters are helpful.

It really nails that traditional Northern-style flavor profile. Pro tip: make sure to mix in some sa tế, as it completely amplifies the broth and takes it to the next level! Also, I'm so hyped that the Cháo Sườn Quẩy is FINALLY back on the menu! It came out piping hot and is just as comforting as I remember. Food Bánh Mì Pate Que (2) - $5.99 Served as two pieces, this Hải Phòng-style bánh mì came with pate, shredded pork, and a house chili sauce. The bread was nicely toasted and served warm, making it easy to share. Bánh Ướt Đặc Biệt - $14.50 Steamed rice sheets topped with pork patties, fried tofu, and fresh vegetables, served with a house fish sauce. The sauce leaned light and slightly sweet, which may appeal to some but felt a bit mild overall. Bún Chả Hà Nội - $16.50 Rice vermicelli served with grilled pork, pork patties, fresh herbs, and house fish sauce. Similar to the other dish, the sauce was on the lighter side in terms of flavor. The protein portions also felt a bit small for the price. Service My party and I were greeted and seated promptly upon our arrival. A server brought menus and returned shortly after to take our order. However, they did not check-in throughout the dining experience. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing and the food came out quickly. Payment is processed at the register near the back by the kitchen. Ambiance The restaurant is dimly lit with plenty of seating for dine-in. Location It is located in a strip plaza with a shared parking alongside other businesses.

Over all those years, they have never disappointed me and continue to serve really good food. I usually get the beef brisket pho and it's really good. The noodles are just the right texture, the broth is clean and flavorful, and the meat tastes fresh and tender. Their dui bo is also very good, but usually runs out after 1:00 or 2:00 pm, since they only have a limited amount of this item every day. The meat is fall off the bone tender and has a more fatty flavor to it. It usually sits in some broth that absorbs that beefy and fatty flavor from the bone. A great addition to any bowl of pho. Alternatively, I sometimes also get the bun thit nuong and it's very good. The eggrolls it comes with is wrapped with rice paper, so when it's fried up, it has such a satisfying crunch and texture to it. The thit nuong is has a nice smokey, grilled flavor to it. The shrimps are okay as well. This is a very satisfying and filling dish, so if you're looking for a high volume dish, this may be the one to get. Expect long lines during peak hours. I can confirm though that the wait is worth it! Service is always very good. The ambiance on the inside is fine, very plain and unassuming in my opinion. When I tell you this is the BEST broth I've ever had, it blew me away. I'm not one to usually order extra noodles but for this place I would order as many noodles until I ran out of broth, it is that good. Noodles were on the soggier side, I'm not picky about noodles but if you are then this is something to consider. Portions were huge for the price, very happy with that. CASH ONLY. The standout for me was the flaming wagyu ($18), torched tableside. For how thick the cut was, it was incredibly tender and soft. Definitely go medium rare. The ponzu dipping sauce really enhances the richness of the beef. We also tried the shaken beef ($21), which came with plenty of caramelized onions and bell peppers that added a subtle sweetness.
