The broth is aromatic with lemongrass and full of rich flavor. I especially enjoyed the little bowl of tamarind fish sauce for dipping the toppings, it reminded me of the style from my hometown. I can tell the ingredients they used were fresh from the herbs plate to the seafood topping. The taste was great, not too sweet and did not smell fishy. Only the bún mắm here is barely edible, everything else like the chicken leg is basically a rip off. I can buy a whole chicken at Costco for six dollars, but here after tax one chicken leg with rice is almost twenty. Grandpa's Kitchen sells dry noodles for ten bucks and it tastes ten times better. Their hủ tiếu Nam Vang is salty and just plain bad, even instant noodles taste better. This place charges sky high prices for food that tastes awful, yet they still claim it is good, which is ridiculous. If a restaurant cooks badly, they should fix it instead of arguing to defend something that is clearly wrong. Truly unbelievable. read more
