Oboba Tea is a newish boba shop near Press Espresso & Kitchen, 88 Ranch, and 85 Degrees. I stopped by wanting to try out their drink and also cash in on their free croffle giveaway on Temecula Talk FB Group. The free croffle was really delicious (5/5) with a rich buttery flaky croissant covered in tiramisu cream and oreo crumble. My partner who never had a croffle before and also impartial to sweets loved it a lot! However, the mango and strawberry yogurt drinks were lacking in thickness (3/5). I was hoping that it would be like kefir but it was more of a yogurt flavored dairy (?) drink. I wouldn't mind coming back to try other drinks but probably will not get what I ordered again.

It's a super cute little hole in the wall. Honestly, if we hadn't googled it first, we probably would not have noticed it. When you walk in, it has a super cozy vibe to it that makes you just want to get comfortable. My niece and nephew definitely did. My niece loved the egg shaped swing chair and my nephew got comfy on one of the sofas. There is also a fun little claw machine too. Ordering was a little confusing as all their food items are under desserts even though we didn't order desserts. We wanted the onigiris and the Korean garlic buns. The onigiris were listed, but the buns were not, so we weren't even sure if they still had them. The cashier let us know that they did and he helped us order those. They were so yummy and 3 of them was the perfect amount to have. We ate them before even thinking of taking a picture ‍ Same with the onigiri. Both are vegetarian friendly and delicious! The bestie and I are definitely going to come back and try out all the yummy desserts they offer next time. We just were not ready this time around. Snagged a picture of my galaxy tea lemonade though. I'm a sucker for butterfly tea, so I couldn't resist. So, come support this small business. What it lacks in size is made up by flavors.

This place is cute and decorated and they have some couches and chairs you can sit and chill. The two times I visited, I was not greeted at all. I didn't even see anyone working and so I ordered from the kiosk. The kiosk is easy to order from and has each drink description and you can modify the drinks. I tried the matcha strawberry and was VERY disappointed. I'm big on matcha and seeing how the drink turned brown after mixing, it just tasted like weird strawberry milk. No matcha flavor at all. Their fruit teas weren't bad. Had to get them 50% sweet because even with half, it was still sweet. I'm not a fan of their boba. It's very squishy but hard at the same time? I gave this spot another try, and now I know to avoid the matcha and boba. Would I come back for their fruit tea? Maybe...

When you're looking at the building, the entrance is on the left side up the ramp. Once you turn the corner, it's the first business on the left. The decorations are very cute and homey. Pop Asian music plays in the background which makes it feel very upbeat. You have the option to order at the self-service kiosk. The wait time was good and staff friendly. The Millie Crepe Cake was delicious, well presented, and packaged carefully for takeout. I am however, very bummed with the boba drink I ordered. I got the Taro Brown Sugar, 50% ice, 100% sweet level, Crème Brûlée Crème, and boba. Although prepared accurately, the boba was not of good texture nor flavor. The boba itself is what makes the drink since it's what I look forward to when taking sips. The boba was very mushy. Not sure if it was due to being overcooked or old. It was just a disappointment to discover after driving away and after paying $9 for that single item. I'll give their drinks another try in the future. For now, my impression of the drinks isn't great.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE MOCHI DONUTS. My partner and I decided to come here for dessert. The location is kind of hidden. We got there a little past 9 PM and upon arrival it looked closed. Inside it was cute but it was uncomfortably hot inside for some reason I think they need to fix their AC; otherwise, there's no excuse for that. We were greeted by the workers and I kind of felt bad for the workers due to the heat inside. I ordered from the kiosk, which was fast. Unfortunately, it took 20 minutes to receive our order. On top of that, the mochi donuts were inedible. They looked nice, but tasted hard and stale. This is unacceptable considering they were $10 and it took 20 minutes to receive. We took one bite and that was it! I probably should've went back to return them but we took them to go and I doubt the young adults behind the counter would know what to do. I already felt bad for the conditions they had to work under because it was hot in there. One of them was sweating too!

it was the only boba place open after 9pm so it attracted us to try it out... we were so thirstea ;) i asked for the best fruit tea! a very nice young man said that will be our love potion and it was a drink with a very well suitable name because i fell in love with it! brown sugar with crème brûlée: was very very very very very very very very very wait just one more very thick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rock on oboba tea!

Cute place! I got a matcha milk tea and it had good flavor. I also ordered a Kimchi fried rice ball. It was pretty good and flavorful but a little small for the price. I ordered on the kiosk and didn't wait too long for my order. My friend ordered the mochi bubble waffle and it was really good! It was warm and not dry or burnt. Only thing that I would suggest to make it even better is to add an ice cream scoop to it instead of whipped cream. Also, they have restrooms outside that need a code.

I was sourily disappointed here. The worker, possibly the owner, was kind and helpful, but she actually forgot my creme brulee. I ordered the waffle cone that came with strawberries, and inside of it were corn flakes. My complaint on this was that the waffle cone was overcooked, burnt and hard on most areas and since she charged me 1.50 for creme brulee and I didn't get it, ofc that would not make me happy. The milk tea was fine. She gave me a sample. Since it might have been too sweet or not sweet enough. I will come again and give the place another chance. This place was cute, and I could bring my dogs outside. I'd like to give a new business a second chance if I could.

Super cute place in it's own little building in the corner of a shopping plaza, but not a fan of their drinks, or at least the ones that we got. The default sweetness levels were way too sweet for us, but I think lowering the sweetness wouldn't make a difference as it had very artificial tasting flavors, but I appreciated the blushing sunset at least had some fruits in it. The tea flavor is very faint as well, almost nonexistent so it just tasted like juice or syrup water They had just opened up almost 2 months ago so they still have time to improve and tweak their recipes, it's a very cute place to hang out with friends though and there's a lot of drink varieties so you're bound to find something you like

New boba spot that's hidden and pretty cute. They seemed to have a big menu with not only drinks, but with rice balls, mochi donuts, and taiyaki. We didn't try any of the food. We decided to give this place a shot as they seemed to be the only one who had the crème brûlée toppings. My bf tried the Matcha Oreo Creme Brûlée and I got the Strawberry Matcha latte. We spent about $16 for 2 drinks. First sip, we were disappointed already. His Matcha Oreo Crème brûlée tasted like milk and water... I couldn't even taste the matcha. It seems like they were using low grade matcha. For someone who's experimented with different types of matcha, it seemed like it was not good quality matcha. My boyfriend was in shock that he was even served this type of drink. We were told that the drink was extremely good but we definitely cannot say the same. On top of that, it seemed like the drink was fully filled with ice. From top to the brim... For my drink, it tasted like strawberry purée. Definitely no matcha. I gave them two stars for the boba being perfectly cooked though. read more

walked in and was not greeted at all by any staff member, so i had no choice but to use their self service kiosk menu to put in my order. unfortunately the kiosk had a "service fee", so i basically was charged for doing the work of ordering my drink, and my boba milk tea ended up being $9 total. i don't think that's fair to be charged extra fees for using a service if there's no person to greet/take your order read more

Outstanding new boba place in Temecula! So friendly, tasty and fun. The boba is fresh and all of the drinks are outstanding. They have a lot of vegan options and non-dairy options which is really cool! The ambiance is very nice and the interior small, but very clean. Nice and cozy little love seat and chairs. If they still have the fried rice kimchi balls get some! Order two because you can't eat just one! I highly recommend this place to family, friends, visitors and the likes . Enjoy!! read more

I've been here 3 times just to give it a fair chance as it's a new boba spot in the area. I really only go to boba spots for classic black milk tea with boba so this review might not be relevant if you like different types of teas or drink. the boba is always a bit too soft for my preference but not bad, just softer than most places. And the black milk tea (OBOBA milk tea) is just a weird flavor - does not taste like black tea or any normal tea flavor. It's just like a weird artificial milk flavor or something, I can't describe it. The first two times I tried the Oboba milk tea and confirmed- yep it's just an odd flavor, almost like it's not made with any tea at all? Just sweetened milk. And I ordered 25% sweetness! the last time I went I tried something different - the brown sugar fresh milk tea. I liked this one a lot better but it's SO sweet. I ordered 50% sweet and not sure if that was missed or if it's just an extremely sweet drink but damn I had to water it down at home haha. If I go back to this spot it'll just be out of convenience being near by and I would get brown sugar fresh milk with boba but 25% sweetness and would never get the Oboba milk tea because it's not classic black milk tea at all. read more

Service was terrible (no welcoming or worker in-sight), menu is incredibly complicated and no one helped out. They have two workers scheduled and have a line of 4 plus because they rely on an iPad to place inaccurate orders. It's took me maybe 8 min to place an order and the older lady behind me took even longer. This is annoying since they easily could've taken it. Order came out wrong and decided to get refunded and leave. Add on cost and price is also decently high. On top of that, the wait was over 15 min. Wouldn't recommend unless you have 30+ min to waste. Tried this place on the way back home. I got the wintermelon milk tea 50% sweet and it's soooo good!! It's pretty on the sweet side so If you don't have too much of a sweet tooth I recommend 50% sweetness! Beware of the self service kiosk as it will charge you a "service fee" upon placing your order so just place ur order with the cashier themselves! Service is amazing, staff is friendly and accommodating, ambiance is cute and vibey, will come back again!!! read more

Good vibes. Really cute decorations (I love the little bears!) We got the Taro Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba. It was very yummy and sweet! :) The service was also very good and fast. It's in between buildings so it's a little hard to find but the entrance is right in front of the cul de sac-like parking lot. When you first walk in, it's very bright, it's very inviting! This place has been here since 2023 Feb and it's going good! Had the winter melon milk tea and it was good. Boba was warm and chewy so that is always a + Service here was friendly. The bobarista was very attentive to what I want in a drink as I can't have too much sweet. Recommend: winter melon milk tea. read more

Holy moly- Loved the specialty drinks. Highly recommend the "Love at First Sight"- drink was made by the sweetest worker ever. She let me reduce the amount of rose since I'm not into floral. It's this beautiful purple dragonfruit/lychee drink with a tea base. It is pricey (close to $8 for a drink), but overall I'm satisfied. read more

I showed her the Facebook posts and she said oh my boss just told me it ended yesterday let me double check. I dont ever give bad reviews but this place deserves one: Decided to give this place a try since it was close to a place we ate for lunch. We ordered the love potion drink and thai tea milk drink and mochi donuts. I requested for 25% sweetness for one of the love potion drinks and the other was the regular 100% sweetness. Both drinks tasted the same! The thai tea drink didnt taste like thai tea at all and it had an aftertaste. The worst would be their mochi donuts. They come in 3pcs per order and we ordered 2 sets. They were rock hard! You couldnt even bite in them. Its like they just microwaved it and allowed it to harden. It immediately went straight to the trash. Service was very slow too. we waited 30mins or more for all the things we ordered and we were the only ones there. The place also doesnt look clean. It had nice decor but i didnt even want to sit in their couches because it looked dirty. Its definitely a never again for us. read more

If you're ordering a waffle cone on the tablet stand you have to select each thing you want which was confusing because when I got my waffle cone it was just the waffle. Usually places have everything already selected and you just remove what you want. On top of that the waffle cone tasted burnt. I was so disappointed but honestly I'm going to 85c Bakery which is in the same shopping center read more

Oboba Tea was pretty okay. It just opened in February so my boyfriend and I decided to try them out. Overall, service was amazing. Ambiance was good but it was so hot inside the seating area. The coffee storm boba was very good, tender said it would be too strong especially during the night, my boyfriend insisted he was "built different" and chose it anyways, I got the jasmine milk tea, and it was decent, wouldn't get it again but not opposed to trying other stuff later on for another visit! read more

Look for no further place to enjoy some quality teas and perfect boba. This place is my favorite place to get boba and it's worth the little extra drive from my house. Oboba's thai milk (tea) is amazing and I normally get it without the sweet. cons. milk in order for it to be dairy free. Anytime I have gone it, they have always been consistent in their production of drinks--never have I had a bad drink there. Also, their prices are fair and are not overly expensive; they have deals and discounts for larger orders as well. I am encouraging everyone to support this small business that is delicious and never misses. read more

Pretty good drinks, we ordered 4 different ones and really liked the milk tea ones like the Taiwanese milk tea. The coffee you need to order with ice or else it doesn't taste very good. Theres also fruit teas which we would like to try more of next time. read more

Drinks were good but there was only one worker. drinks took a long time to be made. In addition my drink came with NO ICE in it so I asked for a cup of ice on the side and she said no , that's our policy and said it's her bosses policy. If I'm paying for a $6 drink it should at least have ice ... I have never had this problem at a boba shop read more

Service was kind and to the point, ambience was cute with all the decorations/music/props/decorations, and the boba drinks here are probably the best I've ever had (and I've been to many boba locations). I had the winter melon milk tea and my fiancé got the the Love Potion fruit drink. The drinks honestly reminded me of the flavor of Ding Tea but slightly more refined, and their boba is delicious and smooth (not as bumpy and prone to clumping like other places). Their boba is also fresh and hot so make sure you mix up the drink before drinking or you may get catch some hot boba in your mouth ;) read more

I've been to boba shops all around town from family owned to franchises and this boba shop is the BEST! They have a wide variety of drinks and toppings to choose from and my favorite is the matcha ube with egg pudding and Oreo crumble the owner is the sweetest person and the store is so cute with great picture opportunities!! Definitely try this place out! They also have bubble waffles and crepe cakes that I will have to try next time read more

Tea was good and creamy- got no adjustments yet not too sweet. Would not splurge on the crème brûlée topping again ($1.50) as it didn't come with a lid where I could sip on it and I couldn't really taste it when blended with my drink. read more

Normally love this place but came in today and ordered a matcha fudge latte and receive chocolate milk. I've order this drink before and it was very good and colored white and green, it was brown today. The second time I came it had no matcha flavor and now it's chocolate. It closed at ten so I went to go back in to ask but they closed at 9:54. Loved this place when they first opened but not anymore. read more

Came in here last night with my family and ordered three drinks plus the mini donuts. Drinks were incredible. The donuts took a bit longer than expected but the owner offered us a free drink for the wait. I politely declined but that is what I call great costumer service. Nice ambiance - clean store, free wifi provided, and they have games available if you want to hang out with friends. I asked about the different tea flavors and they provided samples, which was really nice. I'm giving them a 4 because of that service. The boba was alright and some of their teas are made from powder. Nothing against it, was still pretty tasty. read more

I went before and I thought the boba was good. So I came again but this time with my family. We had a bad experience this time around, my daughter sat down on one of their stools and it completely collapsed on her while waiting for our drinks. She fell to the ground and the stool legs completely broke off. The worker at the time came by and didn't even ask if she was ok, he was more worried about getting the stool out of the way and hiding it. This will be the last time I return to this place and their cheap furniture. My daughter is only 7 years old and skinny. We weren't even offered anything for this horrible experience, not even one sorry or are you ok after we picked up our drinks. I have been to thousands of restaurants and boba shops, I never experienced furniture breaking on people before. Beware of this place! who knows what others corners are cut. read more

First time coming here and I was really disappointed, didn't even get a welcome in and when my mom and I went to order the lady working was talking so low we could not even hear her and even when I said "what" over and over both me and my mom she did not speak up at all. The drinks were good don't get me wrong but my matcha drink had no flavor and i've been to multiple boba places and they have always asked me if I wanted sweetener added and she didn't even ask me. Also when I was done paying I left a tip just because I did take about 10 minutes to order my drink and she did not even say thank you or ask if I wanted a receipt. I was very disappointed and just wanted to try a new place and this place was not it!! do not go here or tell your workers to speak up!! read more

I recently visited Oboba Tea and had an okay experience, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I ordered a Thai tea, which is a pretty standard drink, but it tasted premade rather than freshly made. It was also sweeter than I prefer and a bit overpriced for what I received. The café itself has a cute and casual vibe, likely appealing to a younger crowd. However, when I walked in, it wasn't immediately clear who was working. I started placing my order at the kiosk, and midway through, a staff member came out to greet me. Shortly after, another customer walked in, and I noticed that the staff engaged with them more, which made my experience feel a bit impersonal. Overall, the café has potential, but the drink quality and service didn't leave a strong impression on me.
