Wow, the customer service is bad.... I came in looking for a new pair of Turbine's and wanted a specific frame and lens. They did not have it in stock, but they did have the frames as a floor model. I asked the woman if I would buy the frame from the floor model and swap the lenses; she answered me (somewhat nonsensically) as if I were asking a stupid question. So I asked again, and she said it would mess with the product number and she'd be fired. (uh, ok...). So I left. Realizing that I really just need new lenses for my existing glasses, I went back in. I asked a man there for hep, and he sort of responded in a way that denoted I was interrupting him from his stocking work. When I asked how much the lenses were, the answer surprised me, so I said "wow, I didn't realize lenses were that much". He replied with a "well duh, they are the most expensive part of glasses" in a snooty kind of way. anyway, I think Oakley's are great, but it's not worth being treated like an idiot to buy them in a store. Get 'em online if you really want them, or go to a different store - from folks who realize they are just selling plastic and aren't hung up on themselves. read more

Cool place to check out. Since there aren't very many Oakley stores around and this is the only one in OC, it's worth while to check it out if you are in Spectrum. Oakley stuff definitely makes a statement. A bit on the pricey side but if you like Oakley, you won't be dissapointed. Service on the other hand is not that great. read more

Saturday Nov 12, 2016-Didn't realize we walked in with only a couple minutes before closing. The 3 employees didn't rush us or make us feel unwanted at all. Very kind and attentive. We realized the time and left but i just wanted to state how courteous they were. read more

This store is horrible. First of, I went to this store to put a complaint on my new Oakley sunglasses because I felt they had a defect when wearing the sunglasses. Anyways, I went to the store today and this white young men asks me in a very moody attitude if i needed it help. I told him "yes I need help". Additionally, I told him about my issue. As I was telling him about my issue, I felt ignored. However, he did change my glasses, but he definitely has to work on his customer service skills. Therefore, if you don't like your job you got 2 options leave because honestly this will make this store loose business, starting with me. I will never buy sunglass in this store. Lastly, I'm still not happy with my sunglass; I still feel them defective. read more

Bought some great cycling sunglasses here this week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are the same as the Oakley website. It's a small store if your wanting sport clothes, but its worth the stop for sunglasses. It's nice to try them on in person. It's a great product and I'll continue to wear them. I wish there was a store closer to HB. There are stores that carry the product, but its not the same as the actual Oakley store. read more

I ordered custom Radarlocks and when I got them, I realized I should have ordered different lenses. So I went into the store and explained the situation and the girl who helped me (get those vented polarized lenses) was AMAZING!! She researched and communicated with me for 2-weeks until she found them in SF; had them sent to Irvine and called me when they arrived! Be careful dealing with this store. I am so disappointed and bummed out on Oakley. I've bought they're pricey glasses and golf clothes for a couple of years now and I'm officially done. I spent three or four hundred dollars on a backpack here a few months ago, and yes that's my fault for spending that much money on a backpack but I really liked It and I always feel like Oakley is a good investment because it's well made. Well the stitches on my backpack started falling out so I went in there and when I explained that I don't have the receipt anymore the woman said "I'm sure if you just bring it in here they will swap it out for you." Well the bag was sitting in my car so I told her I would go grab it and be right back. All of a sudden she starts back tracking and saying "well hold on I don't know if we can do it without a receipt." I'm like "you just told me 'I'm sure if you just bring it in here they will swap it out for you! Like 30 seconds ago!" So she goes to talk to the other woman working and comes back saying "sorry." It was so embarrassing looking like an idiot in front of my girlfriend, and not to mention just wrong! 1) stand my your word, don't tell the customer what they want to hear, just to pass me off on whatever staff she thought would be working when I came back, 2) stand behind your product! 3 or 4 hundred dollars for a backpack and you won't even replace it with the same exact one in your store!!!?!?!? It's a slap in the face to realize how much money I was spending on their products only to be treated like this. Super bummed on Oakley. You lost a loyal customer. I visited the Irvine Spectrum's Oakley store today to address a problem with my backpack; the kitchen sink style. What had happened, I mistook the cross support strap for the tightening strap and heaved on it until I yanked it off my bag. I will take this time to provide testament to how well my Oakley bag is constructed because, it took a considerable amount of effort and a remarkable small amount of brain cells to pull the cross-strap off my bag. As this is my go-to bag and I am an out-of-state(r) resident from South Carolina transitioning to California, I wanted it fixed as soon as feasible. So, at the first opportunity in California, I made a trip to Irvine Spectrum's Oakley store and presented my bag to Rochelle "Rushy", much like a pet owner handing a sick puppy to the veterinarian. Graciously, she offered to replace it, as it was relatively new and, after a few attempts, it seemed more work than it was worth. However, since me and "Baggie" had been through a few trips cross country, I declined and wanted to see if it (Baggie) could be repaired on site. This is when the magic started. She rolled up her sleeves and proceeded to work in earnest to place the clip back on the bag. Rushy dedicated 100% of her time, effort and attention on me and my self-made problem directly, working with whatever she could lay her hands on to effect repairs. This was extremely impressive as, this is a retail store and not a repair shop, yet she persevered on without Oakley repair tools, screwdrivers, or anything resembling a tool. She adopted a variety of common, everyday objects as tools to reseat the clip back onto the bag; AAA cards, desk clips, pens, kittens, whatever and I swear, MacGyver himself was standing behind her, intensely taking down notes. She continued on and on, never giving up, determined to win this battle. I offered her suggestions, which she wisely ignored. It was probably due to the fact they all involved using fire in some way, shape or form. Getting this clasp reattached was akin to solving Alexander the Great's Gordian knot. But instead of taking the easy way out by cutting it in two, (that may have been my one suggestion to her that didn't involve fire that again, she wisely disregarded), she used her keen wit and patience to succeeded, where many people I had turned to for help previously had failed. I wish to convey my thanks and gratitude for Rushy's excellent customer service and her willingness to take on a time-consuming and brain-numbing problem for a random Oakley gear owner. Her actions not only brought great credit upon herself, her store and the name of Oakley, she has also cemented my loyalty to the Oakley brand and the "the little store that could". Great place to see the products, but the staff was not very helpful with items that were not on display. I had the attention of a few individual workers, and none could simply look up the products for pricing and availability. Very disappointing. read more

The staff are wonderful people. I haven't made a large sunglasses purchase in a long time and had real issues making a final decision. Must have spent hours in there changing my mind dozens of times. They were extremely kind and flexible when I returned after changing my mind once again after my initial purchase. So happy with the carbon shift model! Erica, Justin, and Becky were all so very helpful in helping me decide on a pair of shades and also were very tolerant of my inability to choose which model I thought was best. Could not be more pleased with the staff here! Oh and the store is clean, well kept, and I was greeted every time I came in. read more
