This is the best Glasses spot I've ever worked with. The service and quality are top tier. Best High End/ Luxury Frame selection. David, Alexis, and Mariel are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for best lense work. read more

Helpful and friendly staff! Went in to see if I can get a replacement nose piece for my glasses. The worker was polite and serviced the eyewear for free. read more

Drove 1.5 hours to browse some of their limited edition collections. Arrived at 2:30 to see a sign saying they were closed until 4pm. If a store is closed for more than an hour during normal business hours, do they really want or need anybody's business?! Lol Very disappointed to have wasted time and gas to drive out of my way for nothing at all read more

Have been going into the store for a number of years. Always a great selection and the customer service is exceptional. Went in and asked David for some assistance today with my frames. He is so knowledgeable and so well-versed in how to adjust frames to fit the face it's fantastic. Would highly recommend the store and the customer service always brings me back. Thank you, David for carrying such a great selection and always being willing to help when I have an eyeglass need. read more

Mariel helped me and was a consummate professional as described by the Mirriam-Webster dictionary definition: "Extremely skilled and accomplished/of the highest degree/complete in every detail" I bought Cutler and Gross frames and had Vitra install my prescription lenses. Mariel didn't try to oversell and was very emotionally intelligent. My glasses are a great style and fit and I can feel the quality. read more

Mariel and David are great technical sales associates and have been taking care of me for years now from helping me select my first frames to routine maintenance. Would highly recommend checking out Vitra Eyewear and what they have to offer! read more

Professional and great designer choices. Liked idea that staff was low pressured. Great technology.

I absolutely love Vitra Eyewear & David Abernathy! David was able to help me find the perfect sunglasses and picked styles and brands that I had not even considered and thankfully he did because I ended up with the perfect pair of IC! Berlin (see photo). They most definitely have something for everyone. Give David an opportunity to find you a perfect pair. read more

This place has a wonderful selection of frames. I have a small face and it's pretty hard to find a place that has a broad number of really nice frames that actually fit me correctly. My correction is very severe and I wear progressives, so not every shape will work for me. I was helped in the process by Mariel, who was professional, friendly and skilled. It was so sweet that she was just as excited as I was when we found just the right choice for me. The turnaround time to get the finished glasses was very good. I'll definitely come back here the next time I need new glasses. read more

This review is long over due. Me and my brother got helped by Mariel. It was my first time purchasing a high end pair of prescription glasses. I chose a Barton Pereira pair and Mariel was really honest and at the same time polite when providing feedbacks. She cares and she is not pushy and is very helpful. One of the screw kept on getting out and after the second time, she ordered me a new pair and I haven't had any issues since! She is one of the most professional and sincere sales consultant I ever dealt with. read more

I have been looking for a place to fix my Gucci glasses and i went to so many places and they failed until i came across this amazing place that fixed my glasses. They were professional and amazing, i would highly recommend for anyone that want to repair their glasses. read more

Total scam, you are paying too dollars on dime quality eyewear. Also remember, there is no sign or they will not tell you that all sale are final and no refund (only store credit). Karma is real and they will get served in life. read more

I am totally impressed by the excellent customer service I received from VITRA Eyewear in Costa Mesa. David helped me and he was outstanding. David was very professional and provided the kind of high touch service you hope for at a high end store, but don't often experience. This store has the best selection of beautiful designer frames. I usually have a hard time finding something to fit my narrow face, but David found a pair of gorgeous Chanel frames for me that were perfect. He kept me updated on the status of my order, was very responsive and did everything he could to make sure I was happy with my glasses. I highly recommend this store. read more

Vitra always outfits my wife and I with the best sunglasses that complement our faces. Wide selection of high-end brands and styles. Salespersons are all very helpful and friendly and have good taste in making suggestions. When it comes to shades we can't go elsewhere. read more

I had a pleasant experience here buying my prescription Tom Ford glasses. The prices are steep but you do get quality frames and quality service / fittings. Recommend! read more

I was very impressed during my 1st visit to Vitra. I was looking specifically for a certain CH frame and was surprised that they had it!! The service that Mariel provided was second to none. She was very knowledgeable, professional, very patient which is hard to find these days. I will definitely return for additional purchases and recommend this great business to anyone who is in the market for exceptional frames. read more

My wife discovered this store and we are so happy. She special ordered a frame she had been searching for. It's her favorite pair of prescription lenses and she looks great in them. I recently purchased some Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses from here as well. This is the only retailer in Orange County that offers this brand that only makes their frames in small runs. (1 of 500 etc.) Very satisfied with their service and recommendations on fit and fashion. We'll be back! read more

I want to commend Vitra Eyewear on their wonderful customer service!

I love this place. The selection of designer frames here is the best around. I bought a pair of Sospiri frames here 4 years ago from the designer himself (who was visiting) and the service was impeccable. Fast forward to this Fall 2020 and my husband and I both bought new frames. David worked with us and he was completely buttoned up for COVID - helped us choose frames we loved and completed perfect transition lens placement for us both. He was friendly, patient (we had our child with us) and communicated via email about pickups without delay - AND he even sent my earlier designer glasses back to the designer to get a couple rhinestones reset which had fallen out for no extra charge. I'll be back :) read more

The selection on frames & brands here is amazing, very high quality and something for everyone. David takes care of my family and me for all of our eyewear needs, and truly he goes over and beyond to make sure we always leave happy! The service and treatment you get from Vitra will make you not want to go elsewhere ever again. So happy with our new sunglasses and eyeglasses! Top notch, look no further :) read more

I came in here on a whim and asked David (I believe) if he would be able to fix my Tom Ford sunglasses which I accidentally sat on. He was so incredibly nice and offered to try to fix them for me the best he could. I was so happy when he informed me he was able to save and fix my (very pricey!) sunglasses! Even though I didn't purchase these sunglasses here he gladly fixed them for me for free! Such great customer service and friendly staff- I'll for sure be making my future glasses/ sunglass purchases here!! read more

If I could give them a negative review I would. Giving them a 1 star is too high! I purchased a pair of Chanel Sunglasses with denim on the sides. After wearing them I realized they burn my skin, the denim is harsh and when rubbed against your skin it burns your skin like a razor burn. I originally purchased them from the Las Vegas store which I give a 5 star review. Everyone at the Vegas store is so helpful and always trying to accommodate me. When I tried to exchange them, they refused to take it back saying they can only make an exchange within a week!!! These glasses were shipped to me last week but they still refused! I spent close to $600.00 on a pair that burns my ears and they refused to exchange it. I'm not sure how this company is even in business with this type of policy. Not sure who owns this company but they need to know this behavior is unacceptable and they won't last if they keep it up. read more

Visited this store a few times over a couple years and have bought two pairs of sunglasses here. First, the selection of high end sunglasses in extensive and well curated. Im particular so usually have trouble finding anything that Im excited about. There always seem to be multiple options here and the two pair I did buy I didnt see anywhere else and are the best Ive owned. More importantly, I find the service to be exceptional. Both visits I worked with Jason - very thoughtful, normal, non-sales agressive demeanor. Remembered who I was after a year and easily knew what frames might work best. Generally not in the habit of leaving reviews but felt like this was earned. Thanks again Jason! read more

Great selection and a wonderful staff. I was at South Coast Plaza a couple weeks ago and went to a few different eyewear shops and VItra had the best selection by far. read more

Top notch customer service all around, but a HUGE shout out to Dean. He is phenomenal, patient, and extremely professional. They have accommodated me several times without complaint. If you want a diverse selection of glasses, accompanied by exceptional service- Vitra is your spot! read more

This was an astoundingly unprofessional group, particularly David. When I bought a pair of sunglasses from him, I specifically asked if I could return it. He said yes. He then couldn't figure out how to process my credit card payment, and told me he'd send the receipt later. I decided the glasses were too heavy and went back to return them. I was stunned when Mariel said they don't take returns. After some discussion, she finally agreed to refund me but again couldn't figure out how to do it. She said she'd call me. She then calls me hours later and said they are still trying to figure it out. SHE TOOK ALL MY CREDIT CARD INFO, which made me feel really unsafe. She said David would work on it the next day and call to update me. He never called. When I called to get an update, he first acted like he didn't know what I was talking about and then was a condescending douche about it. This is supposed to be a high end optometry, a professional establishment, not a sunglass hut with egoistic Millennial staff who act like they get hourly minimum wage. read more

I love my glasses from Vitra. They have a really great selection of beautiful and unique high end frames. Many from Europe you would not find anywhere else. Everyone is very knowledgable and have an eye for what suits your face and style. Service and quality is A+. Completely worth it! read more

They have a nice selection of frames. BUT, they have had to do my prescription twice and it is still not right. I asked for a refund on the prescription but they said they would redo it again, the third time. I just do not have the time for this. Although I like their selection, I just threw away a bunch of money on the lens and will need to go back to my doctor to get the correct lens. read more

Fantastic experience all-around. Everyone was helpful, professional, and accommodating. Nice, diverse selection of eyewear. Classy and modern. They were my first stop on my journey to find the perfect pair of new glasses. Went in expecting to have to hit up a few more places. Came out instead with some awesome new eyeglasses. Have gotten some nice compliments. Definite recommend. read more

Absolutely had the best experience at Vitra Eyewear! The Optician Dean was so very honest and helpful in making sure I had the best looking pair to complement my and my daughters personality. Stunning collection! Will be back! read more

Although there may be other places to purchase quality eyewear, I consider Vitra to be No. 1.Their selection is excellent but perhaps even more important, their customer service is top notch. David and others worked with me to find just the right light weight and stylish frame. I have now purchased three different pairs of glasses from Vitra and will continue to be a repeat customer. Classy selection and excellent customer service= a real winner of a store. read more

I've been wearing glasses all of my life and it has always been an ordeal getting blended lenses lined up and the rx correct. Not only are the frames absolutely beautiful, Nestor Cordero did such an excellent job fitting them on my first visit that all I did was walk in, pick them up and left. Amazing!!! I highly recommend Vitra eyewear read more

I was looking for frames for my prescription glasses and went to several eyewear boutiques, high end department stores and optometrist offices. I did not find anything I loved and also was not impressed with the assistance I was getting. Until I went to Vitra eyewear in Costa Mesa. They have not only the best selection by far but the service was SUPERIOR. I was helped by the store manager David, who is not only extremely knowledgeable , but very patient . He spend a long time with me and made sure that I try over and over all the potential glasses until I find the pair suited for me. This was one of the best retail experiences and definitely very best customer service. read more

The experience to find the frame was good. However, they broke the frame during the adjustment. No update in past two weeks. I finally called today and was told need another 2-3 weeks. I think two weeks should be enough to ship a frame here from most places on earth which can manufacture a $500 frame. I am kind of frustrated and give 1 star for now. I will update later how it goes. read more
