Had a great experience! The best experience I've ever had with an optometrist place. I had a minor inconvenience once, but I'm going to go ahead and say that I think it was a system error. Just a fluke! I easily made an appointment online with Dr Bourgoin using the online appointment system. I was able to make an appointment for the next morning. I received an email confirmation and arrived a few minutes before my appointment! (My appointment was at 10 and I came around 9:55). This was the only hiccup as when I arrived they said they didn't have my appointment in the system. They told me the doctor had just taken in a patient and that I could be right after. I was a bit tight on time, but decided to just wait. The front office staff was helpful. While I waited, they had me fill out paperwork and ran a few tests (they even cleaned my glasses). I was finished with all of this by 10:15ish. I was finally with the doctor by 10:40ish. I was a bit frustrated about the inconvenience but once I met with the doctor, I couldn't feel angry anymore! Dr Bourgoin was incredibly nice and informative. He took his time with me and was great with explaining everything he was doing with me. After my eye appointment, he handed me off to the ladies at the front who helped me schedule a follow up appointment. Dr Bourgoin had me try out two different types of contact lenses to see which would be the most comfortable for me. After a few days, I returned wearing the lenses I deemed the most comfortable and had my follow-up with Dr Yoo. She was awesome too! So friendly and I really enjoyed our conversation. After we confirmed my correct prescription, the ladies at the front helped me out again. I believe it was Elena who helped me out. She was sooo good at walking me through my options and explaining insurance. She wasn't pushy at all and helped me make the best decision for me. I also emailed them and they sent over my new prescription. For my follow-up appointment, I received a phone call and text message to confirm my appointment. I didn't get it for my first appointment so I'm guessing it really was a system error. I'd highly recommend this awesome husband and wife team! They are AMAZING! I'd definitely come back. read more

I was referred to Custom Eye Optometry by my sister, and since it was my first time going, I wasn't sure what to expect. But wow, I was so pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming the staff was! Dr. Yoo is AMAZING!! I've struggled with super dry eyes, especially my left eye, and it's always been hard for me to wear contact lenses. She gave me a sample of eye drops that no one had ever recommended to me before, and it completely changed everything. My eyes feel so much better, and now I can wear my contacts every day of course following her instructions on how often to use the drops. And Marissa... you are AWESOME!! I booked an eye exam after reading all the positive reviews, and was excited about finding an eye doctor here after recently moving to the area. I've worn contacts for 13+ years, so I know what I like, but the dr. pushed me to try a different brand and changed my prescription pretty drastically. I wasn't happy with the trial lenses he gave me so I went back to get it revised, and he mentioned he didn't have the correct prescription so he gave me something "close enough" (how am I supposed to know if I like my prescription if he didn't give me correct trials?) anyway, he gave me a second pair of trial lenses (again changing the prescription) and the first day i tried those I experienced a migraine and intense eye strain. I was getting pretty frustrated because I had never experienced any issues with my contacts or prescriptions in the past. I went back (now for the second time apart from the initial visit) and was pretty straight up that I would only accept a prescription that had my same axis/pwr numbers as my previous prescription and that I would order the contacts myself online with the brand that I like (because they claimed they couldn't order that brand anymore) The doctors were nice and worked with me to figure this out, but the front desk staff seemed flustered and a bit rude when I called and went in the two times after my initial appointment. Overall just a hassle, and since I've never experienced an issue like this I don't think I'll go back. read more

I chose them based on reviews I had read as well as them being close to home but I'm staying with them because of the exceptional service and fantastic employees. Great spot for your eyes. Found out my insurance had now covered my eyes and they were getting worse having trouble reading doing my cross stitch came here was greeted by a very nice lady at the front and gentlmen taken into the vack to wait for the doctor he came in was very nice and professional I needed reading glasses to hopefully stop the eyes from getting worse hopefully and so far reading was easier I can see with them on. They fixed me up and were again very nice loved the whole office clean professional had some candy and water and I think coffee. Glasses only took about a week to get done which was fun they had a pretty good selection of glasses. Highly recommend read more

Came here for my eye exam the other day, haven't come here for 2 years. I really love the staffs here, they are very helpful and make sure that I get all the discounts I can get with my insurance.
